Had a good experience grabbing a quick dinner. Staff was friendly and seemed to enjoy their work environment, which is alway a concern with fast food when the staff look miserable. Music genre appears to be mostly trending music, volume level is fine Got a build your own with spledidgreens and saffron rice as a base, tzatziki, hummus, and red pepper hummus, chicken, all the toppings but olives and the garlic sauce. Love all the textures this meal delivers and the different tones each topping adds to the dish. For dessert we grabbed the salted chocolate oat cookie and we're HUGE fans. When I arrive to pick up my online order, I checked with one of the employees to see if my order was ready and she snapped at me to wait. So I waited for 20 mins for my order to be made and they managed to makenit completely wrong. When I asked the employee about to fix it, the employee rolled her eyes and walked away. Then I asked another employee if she can help me fix my order and she yells at me to wait my turn. The employees are rude and will not fix my order. This is second time this has happened and I will not be returning. The food is expensive, portions are small, employees are rude and obnoxious, and they can't even get your order correct. The customer service is really off putting here. Like others have mentioned, this particular Cava goes by rules that resemble Chipotle. If you ask for extra rice at this location, you won't get it. My order is so simple, I don't get all the sides and dips available so it's important at least for me to get a bit of extra carbs to offset the chicken, corn, and cabbage. Sometimes you just want to grab a quick lunch to enjoy on your break and when I have interactions like these it makes me never want to go again, so great job today guys if this is what corporate Cava told you guys to do, it's working. Trash customer service. Apparently if you order through a delivery app, the employees will hand your order to anyone without checking to verify it's actually for that person. Try it, say a random name and they'll prob just hand it over. Then when you call to ask why, they'll blame uber because it's an easy out as they refuse to be accountable for their mistake. But then uber will charge you full cancellation, no refund because the "restaurant already prepared it." Pretty disappointed, definitely don't recommend this location. read more

My new favorite healthy place when I come to irvine. It's Mediterranean type of Chipotle. When I got there, there was probably 6 people in front of us. Within 10min, the line was 20 people deep. I did a custom order with mixed rice, veggies, spicy lamb meatball, braised lamb, with garlic dressing and lemon herb Tahiti and topping all the topping available there...like it. It comes with the naan. The lamb meatball is bit dry. The wonton strip is very hard. Those the only 2 things I will not add next time, otherwise, everything else is perfect. I've been here couple of times and each time, the food and staff were great! There was some trouble with the cash register today and it kept rebooting each time I tried paying. However, after a few times of trying, they ended up letting me have the food on the house and I want to say I am very grateful.
