The food is good but it's one start because they messed our order up. It wasn't even ready when we went to pick it up. Everyone in the office ordered the Salmon + Strawberry Sesame which on the picture it shows two scoops, one of hummus and the other tzatziki. Not one bowl received it. They also put the wrong names on the bowls so food was mixed up and missing veggies! We also ordered a side of Red Pepper Hummus. Mind you we order Mediterranean food a lot, we always order a side of hummus for the entire office and it's ALWAYS a big size. Cava only gave us a 2oz container of hummus!!!! Like what?? So I'm a newby to CAVA, and I finally tried it today! The food was really amazing, my husband recommended the spicy chicken +avocado. Plus, I love their drink selection: delicious flavored teas and different flavors of sodas. ***** This location however I hear was not the one to go to, but we were closest to this one. Here's why this location is receiving a 2 stars: - the employees. There were 4 total that I saw. When we arrived (5pm on a Saturday) it surprisingly wasn't busy but 3 girls were on their way out- who then saw us and in a stuffy way ran back to the station to take our orders and fix our pitas. When we went to fill our drinks, there was no ice left and my husband nicely asked the guy who was taking the payments if there was anymore. He came around from the back with the ice- and we thanked him BUT- he responded: "Better?" In a snooty way. Why the attitude???? We sat down and those same 3 girls rushed outta there and went walking to the shops. - also, the drink section was a disaster. It was messy and a lot of the teas were empty - including the ice. So, the food was great- but this location could use a revamp on the employees who work Saturdays. Inside was super clean and the service was quick despite it being lunch rush!! I came right before it around 11:40am so the line was short. I got their special chefs Harissa Avocado bowl ($15) and subbed the dressing for the Tahini sauce, blueberry lavender drink, and pita chips. I haven't been to cava before- so getting the default creations made ordering so easy for me and the workers. Everything was so good! This bowl has so many pickled and raw veggies without tomatoes (if you're also not a big fan of diced tomatoes). I will say the pita chips were slightly burnt, but it was still seasoned. I just have the most amazing Jesus moment in Cava Park Lane and I'm extremely grateful for the experience. Emmanuel was my server. He was quick, efficient and very respectful (his parents raised him right). While eating my meal, a homeless man stumbled through the door and walk around a bit. He looked very ill and hungry. No-one acknowledge him even though his presence was evident. He started to leave when the Holy Spirit nudged me to purchase a meal for him. I made eye contact with him and told him I was going to buy him food. He agreed. When I went to the counter to place the order, Diego was my server. He too was quick and efficient and very respectful (his parents also raised him right). He realizes that I was purchasing the meal for the homeless gentleman and he was so thoughtful and caring with his words. When I got to the register to pay; Diego said "it's ok ma'am, we will take care of it". I said "plz don't take away this opportunity for me to be a blessing to someone". I insisted on paying but, he said "no". My heart was so filled with joy as I witness the compassion that these two young men had for others. And especially for someone who was in such a low state place in life; physically, mentally and emotionally. This is my second time to get a Cava Greek Chicken pita at the Dallas Park Lane location The first one was tremendous - lots of good tender chicken and I was impressed enough to go back again. I won't make it a third time. Today's pita was absolutely drowning in the way too vinegary Greek Vinaigrette dressing which over-powered all other ingredients in the sandwich. I thought I had bitten down on a chicken bone at one point but it was just a burnt edge on one of the chicken pieces. This pita contained a very small portion of chicken and more than one of the chicken pieces had the same burnt edges. I couldn't tell whether the chicken was otherwise ok because there was so much dressing on the pita you couldn't really taste anything else that was included. Disappointing! read more

Took my mom here so she could try it for the first time: Our meal was ready at the time it stated on the app, employees greeted us when we walked in. Nice ambiance and clean both indoor and outdoor. I got the grains and green bowl, I will attach my exact meal on here. It was a bit spicy but that was due to me getting the fire roasted corn and Hot Harissa sauce. I tried the strawberry sunrise drink and the best way I could describe the taste is a diet no sugar strawberry lemonade. I would rate the drink a 4 but our food was a 8.5! read more

I've also been to the Addison location, but they were so busy that the wait times were awful, although the food was still good. I order a build your own bowl, because even though their menu options do look good, they don't necessarily meet the carbohydrate count and stuff that I am trying to stick to so I prefer to design my own. It's nice that they have that as an option. I ordered a bowl with half super greens and half arugula, half steak and half braised lamb, and topped it with the roasted eggplant, harissa, and the crazy feta, in addition to a multitude of toppings (toppings are unlimited, just not the dips or proteins). The hot harissa vinaigrette added a great tang and balanced the fattiness of the meat. It is a great fast casual Mediterranean option, and the ambiance is very chill. Went to Cava after my haircut. I love this place so much! I created my own falafel pita. The falafel is not dry and has a nice flavor. Their other flavors (like the spreads) are blended really well, and the portion is a nice size. With this specific location, some of the staff is not the friendliest. However, there are other locations if that's an issue (it isn't one). If you want to try basically a Mediterranean version of Chipotle, I would check Cava out! read more
