Luna Grill got me to like Mediterranean cuisine. Prior to this, the few times I had it, I was not a fan. However, Luna Grill changed all that, and I gotta say I can't get enough! The menu is fairly simple with slight variations on how the main protein or component is served. I mainly order the chicken entree with the chicken being juicy, tender, and perfectly seasoned. Rice and a side salad (I upgrade to the very tasty Greek salad) complete the dish for a balanced, refreshing, and nutritious meal. Must Try Item: The Loaded Fries, are my guilty pleasure. They are basically french fries topped with spicy feta cheese. Would never even think to pair the two together, but such a match makes for an culinary delight. And for those worried about it being spicy, its not, just gives the flavor more punch, no actual heat. Makes for a great appetizer. The quality and care that goes into the food is obvious as everything comes out looking fresh, healthy, and appetizing. While it does have places to eat your meal in the establishment, no make mistake that this is very much a take out place. Don't come hoping for a sit down, table service restaurant. Its light, airy, modern, and well maintained/cleaned. The staff are friendly, helpful, and pretty thorough with your take out making sure that the items you ordered are exactly the items you get, and packaged with care to insure it arrives to your destination in good condition. While this may be a take-out establishment, you should be prepared for prices on the higher end so expect to pay more per person. The food portions are of a good amount and with the elevated quality, the elevated pricing kinda makes sense. The pricing really is the only drawback, otherwise I'd eat here more often. read more

This place was awesome. I got the Vegetarian Luna Vida bowl, and it was a lot more food than I'd imagined. I loved the white sauce & the lemon dressing. The falafel was perfectly crispy on the outside & had a ton of flavor; it was some of the best falafel I've had. The customer service was great. Happen to see this place while driving so I decided to give it a try. They have lots of different meats options to choose from. I got the beef and lamb. My friend got the shrimp and they really good, definitely something I will get next time. I enjoyed the lamb but the beef was not very good to me. I always stop by Luna Grill when I am in Dallas. I order the Greek Salad with a chicken kabob. It is an additional $2.00 to add the chicken. The pieces are large, juicy and charred just right. The salad is full of flavor with the olives and feta. (I omit the chickpeas, onions and pepperoncinis). It is a healthy and filling lunch. I often take leftovers home. The service is wonderful too. While I usually love Luna grill and do believe the dishes are well made. Healthy and tasty overall. The reason for low stars is because of the hair I found in my Greek cabbage. Great first visit to Luna Grill on Greenville Ave in Dallas! My wife and I were in town from Austin visiting family and decided to try it. We told Selena (the manager) it was our first time, and she was super patient explaining the menu and answering our questions. She even hooked us up with complimentary drinks and pita, totally made our night. Food was fresh and delicious. It's no wonder why the place was packed at 6:30 pm. Yesterday my wife and I had to go to Dallas to do some car shopping, and on the way home we decided to have Mediterranean food for dinner. Luna Grill was close to us, and not expensive, so we opted to try it. Now, we have eaten at so many Mediterranean restaurants in the metroplex that I couldn't even list them all: holes in the wall, cafe style, buffets, fancy upscale places. Luna Grill is hands down the BEST tasting Mediterranean food I've ever eaten in a restaurant. It isn't a hole in the wall (sometimes those are amazing), and it isn't upscale fancy. It also isn't expensive. I got bistro beef kabab with Greek salad and spicy hummus (that was one plate), my wife ordered the loaded fries with chicken and feta cheese, and we shared. But here's the thing: every single bite was an explosion of flavor. I took a bite of the beef and slightly gasped and told my wife how amazing it was. Then the same thing happened with the hummus...then the salad...then the fries. OK, so now I had tasted everything; time to just eat. But, oh my goodness! It happened all over again with each and every bite! I swear, eating at Luna Grill is like taking your taste buds to a culinary Disney World! As if that weren't enough, when I got home I looked up information on them. They are a small chain out of California with (so far) eight locations in Texas. Luna Grill is was created by a husband/wife team, Sean and Marie Pourteymour, and they seem very committed to excellence in their food. The food is non-GMO, always fresh, responsibly raised meat, and no unnecessary additives. AND YOU CAN TASTE THAT COMMITMENT WITH EVERY BITE. I didn't get a photo of the plate, unfortunately, but I DID get a shot of the moon (Luna) rising above the restaurant on our way out. OH!
