We decided to stop here for a late lunch after the museum. Cava has been on my list for the longest time since I've heard so many people talk about it. When we arrived, the place was practically empty except for one customer. There are many seats available and reminded me of Chipotle. We weren't sure what to get so ended up picking one of the chef-curated bowls - Harissa Avocado since it was a fan fave. It also came with a small pita bread. The bowl had the perfect amount of chicken and other ingredients - cucumber and tomato mix. Also enjoyed the vinaigrette that was used. This bowl was more than enough for the both of us since we weren't too hungry. I would like to try Steak+Harissa next time I stop by or even build my own bowl. The employee who helped us was friendly and efficient!

I wish we had a place like this (or Cava) in Vegas. My bowl was fresh and I truly enjoyed.

Another "TikTok made me do it" review! Today's Saturday Selection: CAVA. The location was clean, bright, and welcoming. I ordered the Kid's Pita Meal, which comes with your choice of brown or white rice plus pita chips. I went with the white rice. Let me brag on those homemade pita chips paired with the tzatziki. When I say it was a vibe I never saw coming. Golden, crispy, and perfectly seasoned. Inside my pita, I loaded up with grilled chicken, fire-roasted corn, the tomato/cucumber mix, dill yogurt, and Greek vinaigrette. The flavors blended so well together. The kid's meal also includes a drink, and I tried the Cucumber Mint Lime. It was refreshing and surprisingly addicting. Shout-out to TikTok for the recommendation. I can't wait to go back and try different combinations. Next on my list: pairing the Crazy Feta with those pita chips. The portion was just enough to satisfy my appetite without feeling heavy. Verdict: #FlavorChaserApproved

I love Cava and the bowl I got Uptown was the best yet! Idk what they did but it was the tastiest ever. The location is in the middle of the city so I enjoyed a nice view as well. The staff were very friendly :)

Cava is my secret go to spot because it hits all the marks for me as an avid fitness enthusiast who has strict nutrition goals. I'm able to pick between steak or chicken for protein and from an assortment of veggies! My favorite has to be the pickled onions, just the right amount of zest! And watch out they even have avocado if you're feeling like treating yourself. (available an extra charge) This particular location has a nice patio area and I've almost always sat outside when I visit this location. The inside seems a bit too dim for me but I bet it's the best place to be during those Texas hot summers, I'll have to report back then!

Terrible customer service and awful parking. Not worth going to this location at all under any means - pick up, going in etc

I absolutely LOVE San Martin and I honestly do not know why I have yet to come back sooner!…read more I recently popped back into San martin after not being there for a while, and OMG! I was instantly reminded why it is such a Dallas GEM! I did not pop in to eat this time, but to find a nice spot to work with a friend on our laptops and yap over a coffee! And while we weren't planning to do much, the experience was still a 10/10! I ended up ordering a White Chocolate latte and it was AMAZING! You can tell they actually put time and effort into their coffee and lattes! Everything is also brewed fresh! Which I love! My friend ordered a artesian hot chocolate and wow! It was probably some of the best hot chocolate I have ever had! It was def made with real cocoa! We did end up splurging on some pastries, because DUH! It's it so hard to ignore the bakery section when it is so stunning and filled with beautiful baked goods! I got a oreo croissant and tortuga concha! I did not eat them (My bf did) but they looked so great! I did try my friends banana custard filled bread and that was great! I would go back for it! Overall, we ended up sitting inside of their beautiful space for hours, just talking and catching up! It was amazing and comfy! We def want to return for some of their dinner and drink specials too! Highly recommend!

Based on our count, we were around #40, #41, and #42, so we should have been within the first 50 people to receive the free bag. However, by the time we made it inside, they had already run out. The biggest issue was the lack of organization. There was no ticketing or clear system to keep track of who was actually in line. We also noticed people arriving later and joining friends and family who were already in line, which made the whole process feel unfair. I understand openings can be hectic, but when you're advertising something for the first 50 customers, there should be a system in place to make sure those who actually waited in line are counted. We got there extremely early for a reason, so it was definitely disappointing to miss out because of poor crowd control.

LOVE this place. God bless the people who came up with Las Palmas…read more First of all, please never change the queso- it is heaven sent and we always take it to-go (I'm NEVER leaving the rest behind) and it tastes even better the next day. This queso is probably the best I've ever had. BTW it is a LIL spicy but I can let that slide. Another great appetizer option would be the Nachos Al Carbon with wagyu. Super good too & honestly you can even order it for just one person as a main dish-- the serving size is big enough. BUT THE REAL STAR OF THE SHOW AT LAS PALMAS ARE THE WAGYU FAJITAS!!! Incredible. Comes with flour or corn tortillas, beans, rice, and obviously the works: sour cream, guacamole, lettuce. You know the vibes. Speaking of vibes, they're always there at Las Palmas. It is always busy but I genuinely don't care and never mind waiting an hour and a half for our table. It's worth it. This place is a confirmed staple in Dallas. Probably come here once a month if not more often. Thank you for great food and good service too- that's hard to come by nowadays. TRY THIS PLACE OUT! This is your sign!

Las Palmas has a very dark decor and is dimly light. It's a different setup from your average Mexican restaurant and is also very loud. So happy to write this review. Yep, this is the best restaurant I have ever eaten at in the DFW…read morearea and most likely in all of Texas. And I've been to Dallas like 5 times and Austin twice. Shout out to my server Joseph, he was incredible. Really appreciate his recommendations, level of service, and even pro tips on where to go and what to do for the rest of my Dallas business trip. Just a gorgeous restaurant. The vibes, design, and ambiance are there. Oysters: 8.5/10 Annetonique: 10/10 -- The best beverage of its style/kind I have ever had in my life. This was honestly the highlight. I just wish I could consume this cocktail every day of my life. It's absurdly delicious. Kampachi: 9/10 -- Flavor profile is insane. Really good quality Kampachi. The sauce/marinade was to die for. Capellini: 9/10 -- Light, refreshing, just the right amount. Pasta obviously well executed and not overcooked. Coulotte: 9.5/10 -- Exquisite. Just a mean, mean dish. That sauce doesn't play. Excellent redemption because I had Perrys the night before, and although it wasn't terrible... my itch for a damn good piece of red meat was not satisfied. This steak is incredible. I can only imagine what the same recipe and technique could do with maybe a New York strip steak, filet mignon, or even like a super fine select piece of skirt steak. Would like to try this with mashed potatoes as well. But those mushrooms were phenomenal. Loved every bite of this even though I had already eaten so many other dishes. Cheateu Gloria Saint Julien: 9/10 Regret not trying their bread and butter and perhaps one of their desserts. This restaurant is EPIC. Everyone there is also very sweet and very skilled. Will be going back on my next trip to the DFW area.
