    Greens + Grains Bowl
    Andrea A.

Cava is always such a quick, healthy, and filling meal for a very reasonable price. I got a bowl with literally every topping on it haha- on a bed of spinach and saffron basmati rice with half grilled chicken/falafel and pita bread (free!) on the side. I think I got the Crazy Feta, Red Pepper Hummus, and Roasted Eggplant dips. My favorite dressings that I tried were the Tahini Caesar and Garlic Dressing. I find the falafel here so interesting: it had whole chickpeas and is a lot more mushy (not in a bad way) than other falafels I've had. Servers were super patient, considering that I was single-handedly ordering customized bowls for my parents and myself. Ambiance is fine, lots of space. Service is fast & efficient. Lots of free parking available in the lot. 10/10 would recommend!

Let's start with the menu sign which was small and difficult to read. The food was good and it was quickly served up. Lots of great combinations. I got the sweet potato and lamb which apparently only comes with two, underwhelmingly sized balls. For the price, that was disappointing. They over changed for the 1/2 avocado. The attitude of the employees was noticeably sour like they were sharing their personal stash of olives-stingy and oddly annoyed.

Greens and grain bowl. Looked better before I started eating it.

The service is still great and the tables are generally clean. I enjoy eating the food there especially the grain/greens bowls. However several times I've been there and they don't have a topping like Fiery Broccoli when I was there for lunch today. And don't put a sign out front that you have white sweet potatoes when you don't. Also, the pita bread has gone down in quality. It is no longer a nice thick and fluffy bread like it used to be here or that you can get anywhere else. Instead it is now a very thin flatbread that is almost to crisp.

I love this place! This particular location is larger than the ones I frequent. They were very busy so there was a bit of a wait and they were in the midst of replenishing the selections but all is well. My food was fresh and delicious! Service was great! We got in and got out with no issues! Will return again!

    Garlicky Chicken Shawarma Bowl

I normally love CAVA and I hope that my experience at this location is a one off. This was my first time at this location. I dropped by for a grain bowl with chicken Shawarma on a Sunday evening; while there were other people eating in the restaurant, I was the only person in line, but felt really rushed. I understand that efficiency is key, but feel like the people putting food in the bowl were throwing it in as fast as possible, without giving me a chance to process the options momentarily. The refreshment station was out of ice/the ice machine wasn't functioning. When I dug into my meal at home, I was struck by how stale the pita and chicken Shawarma were. A few hours after dinner I ended up getting food poisoning which I can only attribute to that meal because I hadn't had much other food that day. Overall, I was disappointed in my experience at this location, but given that this may have been a one time incident with service and making me sick, I don't want to completely write them off.

Braised lamb bowl (they ran out of spicy lamb meatballs).

When something goes wrong during a restaurant visit, I understand. But when multiple things go wrong, it leaves a bad impression. My wife and I stopped in for lunch on a Sunday and ordered two spicy lamb meatball bowls (new menu item). Halfway through making our bowls they tell us the meatballs will take 10 minutes. We say we can wait. Then they tell us they are out of meatballs (should have checked before building our bows). They offer us braised lamb instead, not our first choice. I also order a drink, my wife orders a drink, they ring us up and it's only one drink. We say we ordered two and the server acts like it's our fault when me wife clearly said she'd have a fountain drink as well. Then they ran out of forks set out, only spoons and knives. Then the men's room is closed for repair. I like CAVA in general but this was not a good experience.

    Mediocre bowl

This location has gone downhill. My bowl was less food than it was supposed to be and the lamb meatballs were burned. The associate at the counter threw one pita away as he put two in a bag for my husband's and my order. Made no sense.

It is a family owned restaurant, which I love. She politely said we could still order and eat inside. It was 2:00pm. We were the only ones inside the restaurant. It is decorated with items from Egypt. Paintings of pharaohs and pyramids. A few people came in to grab their to go orders. She explained that since the pandemic, they do more take out than dine in. We tried the hummus and pita, which was delicious. She mentioned their falafel was one of their best items, so I had to try it. It came with four pieces. They were piping hot and so good. I dipped them in the hummus. I also ordered the chicken kabab (marinated chicken with peppers, onions, and tomatoes over their homemade rice. I asked for no tomatoes and the beef shawarma plate with a Greek salad and tahini sauce. The food was good. I loved the Greek salad with big chunks of tomatoes. The chicken kabab (which she did explain did not come in a skewer) was a bit dry. I dipped it in the hummus. It lacked a bit of presentation. Something that took me by surprise was that we were given our food on paper plates, with paper cups and plastic forks, even though we were eating inside the restaurant. Not sure if it's the same for all lunch and/or dinner. The owner is very nice and I truly appreciated her letting us eat there even though it was close to closing hour. I took the rest of the hummus and pita to go so they could close at 2:30pm. Overall, great experience and good food.

It is very much a hole in the wall and I have passed this place many times not realizing it was even there. It was a little bit hard to find as well because its storefront is so small. The picture alone looked amazing, so after reading their menu and some reviews I had to give them a try. Came in looking near picture perfect (look at that wrap!). It was seriously well constructed, which is something you really don't notice unless it's bad. First bite got a touch of everything and to my sadness, meh ‍. The bread was great, and really carried the whole sandwich (lolol). The veggies were bright and fresh, there was a phenomenal pickle (needed more), and the meat was alright. Classic seasoning on the meat, but so classic it just came off as generic. Now the make or break is always the sauce, and they smothered this mother in their house tzatziki. Where. Is. The. Garlic. I was so disappointed! Everything about it was great, but I swear to you there was no garlic added at all. I'd definitely be willing to give another menu item a try again, because the Gyro was tasty, just extremely generic.

Excellent selection of Arab / Middle Eastern / Mediterranean / Asian goods. They have a great variety of both the standard staples, such as chick peas, bread, seasonings, yogurts, cheeses, frozen goods, and other raw or prepared ingredients, but also have more nuanced items you might not have seen in a long time had you grown up elsewhere and moved to the US. I don't have to go and order things online anymore. Additionally they have a butcher that has fresh meats that are also halal if you're Muslim. I haven't ever had their meats, and am not Muslim, but I know where to go if I need lamb or goat on special occasions. They don't really have produce beyond some shelf stable items, but that excluded, it's pretty much an oasis. Finally, the store is kept clean, well stocked, and organized. I've never been in there with items I need missing. They recently did a facelift on the front of the store and it looks awesome, very modern and inviting. The owners and their sons are super friendly, extremely kind, even offering to special order things I ask about, and are always in a helpful / cheerful mood! Would HIGHLY recommend stopping in to anyone looking for things they need, or just wanting to see what a Middle Eastern store looks like!
