2nd time visiting Cava and 2nd location as well. 2nd time was the charm. My daughter convinced me to try it again because I didn't like it the first time (Cumberland location). This location had personality and flavor in the food! The servers were humorous, knowledgeable and attentive. Clean environment, chill vibes. All of the food options were fresh, they weren't out of anything, it was a fulfilling visit. I will frequent this particular location because they introduced me to a very flavorful bowl of healthy food.

Lentil Avocado Bowl-Falafel, pickled tomatoes/onions/cucumbers, hummus, roasted eggplant, mixed greens & Vegan Rice, 05.16.2023.

Fast casual Mediterranean Food with small offerings of Bowls, Pitas & Salads. A couple of Vegan options including their in-house made Brown Rice. I had the Lentil Avocado Bowl with a few veggie modifications & mixture of the Garlic & Lemon Herb Dressings...pretty good. The overall restaurant, tables & restrooms were untidy. Yet, the welcoming & friendly service rounded out the group lunch on a positive note.

Cava was a good spot to grab something quick while we waited for our car to get new tires. The food was alright. Nothing too special but solid choice for something that felt a bit healthier.

Excellent service and fresh food. From the friendly greeting when we entered the restaurant and also the well wishes as we were leaving. Clean and comfortable facility. I ordered a chicken and rice bowl with brown rice and romaine lettuce with an assortment of their toppings. It was amazing and they are generous with their portions. Be sure to try their amazing healthy drinks.

I've been to the other Cava's near this one and this one has the best customer service to me and gives your decent portions of food ! It is always clean when I go here... definitely recommend this location. Free parking and clean inside

Food is ok but the service is horrible! You feel a bad vibe just walking into this place. Lady at the counter has an attitude before she even starts taking your order and the guy working there just won't even acknowledge you. These horrible employees think they are doing you a favor. Just go to Chipotle next door and save your money, you'll end up paying less for better customer service and more food and better food. Got an order to go and didn't even get a receipt or a bag to carry my food, when I asked for a drink she gave me an attitude and said is that going to be all this time? Very confrontational. If she in this case does not like her job she should not be working there or anywhere that has customer service involved. Cava you need to check up on your business!

Really enjoyed my food and the experience at Cava! It was my first time there and we were looking to try something new that was relatively healthy. My husband and I shared two grain and greens bowl to maximize the variety since we wanted to try so many things! They allow you to do half and half of things, including the proteins which is great. Our favorite meats were actually the spicy lamb (for those not into a super lamby taste don't get it lol) and the beef meatballs. My tip for next time is to get all the sauces you want on the side so you can really taste each of them separately. Would definitely come back again!

This CAVA restaurant is in the Peachtree Station Shopping Center in Chamblee. We came here in mid-November on a Tuesday evening for dinner. The parking situation is very good; the lot is large, and, even though it's shared by all of the businesses in the shopping center, there shouldn't be any issue with finding available spaces, plus the lot provides free parking. We walked in, and waited in a short line. Customers go through the food line, and let the employees know their choices of what they want while building a bowl. Customers get to pick out the base, the dips and spreads, the protein(s), the toppings, and dressings. There were a few employees at the counter, but it really appeared that only one employee truly cared about the customers, greeting them and building their bowls for them, but the others didn't seem to want to engage with customers. I went through the line, and picked out the following items: Base: Greens and grains Dips and spreads (up to three): Roasted eggplant, harissa and tzatziki Protein: Grilled chicken Toppings: Pickled onions, Persian cucumber, crumbled feta, salt brined pickles, tomato and onion salad, Kalamata olives and fire roasted corn Dressings: Yogurt dill Everything looked and tasted fresh. I wish I could say that it was delicious, but I wasn't pleased with this bowl because, overall, it was vinegary/salty. I know, part of this was because of my choices. What I would like to see are a variety of more raw veggies that haven't had vinegar or salt (or anything else) added to them, with an option of adding vinegary/salty dressings. I actually had over half of the available toppings added to my bowl. I later spoke with R, who said he also wished that there were more plain toppings, like raw onions, sliced cucumbers and tomatoes. One more thing, and this is the deal breaker for me: a hot bowl of food from here is not an option. Lots of available and comfortable seating inside the dining area. There are self-serve beverage dispensers, so customers can get refills as many times as they want. The restaurant was well lit and clean.

It wasn't busy at the time however, it did pick up throughout the night. It's a small restaurant with indoor/outdoor seating (outdoor is a covered patio with fans and heaters provided). It seems like the restaurant only provides valet parking, but theres not fee. For appetizers, we ordered 'kibbeh nayyeh' which comes with pita bread and a few radishes. I believe the menu said it was going to spicy, but it wasn't. If you're into tartare, it was very good, light and easy to eat. I ordered the saffron sunset margarita which was good and my boyfriend got a mint lemonade- very refreshing with the freshly ground mints! For entrees, we ordered the 'chicken kabab' and 'rosemary & za'atar chicken' paired with basmati rice which they top with sliced almonds. Both entrees were good, but the rosemary & za'atar chicken was the winner of the two! You can really taste the herbs. Lastly, for dessert we shared the baklava. It came with 4 small bite size baklava with a few scoops of ice cream all topped with extra pistachios. I'm a huge fan of baklava and it was a great way to end dinner. I also have to give a shoutout to the waitress we had, Fatima! Since it was our first time there, almost everything we ordered was based off of her recommendation and we didn't regret it. She was kind enough to give us a sample of the honey harissa to pair with the chicken and it was great choice, I highly recommend trying it. We will absolutely come back again! Also, everything is Halal on the menu!

The second I saw it, I didn't care about the price -- I knew I wanted it, so I planned us a date night. When we arrived, there was a birthday party going on, and I asked the maître d' if they were limiting seating because of the event. He didn't quite understand me, so my fiancée just asked for a table for two, and we were seated quickly. The setup was nice, although I'm personally not a fan of pre-set plates and glasses on tables (you never know how long they've been sitting there). Still, our server was fantastic -- attentive, helpful, and made the night smooth. We came for the famous Piraye Kebab Tray. At first, we were looking at the $165 option (Chef Tray + 1 Meze Board + Shepherd Salad + 4 Orders of Piraye Kebab with rice, all baked inside the dough). When we mentioned the price, our server kindly told us about the smaller 2-order option for $85 -- perfect! And let me tell you, Lord above, when I say I would do some things to eat this food again... words cannot describe how incredible it was. It has been three days since, and I'm still thinking about it. I even posted it on my stories, and over 10 people have messaged me asking about it. Chef Tray: Overflowing with juicy, flavorful meat, perfectly seasoned rice with chickpeas (I swear it was made with veal stock), and that roasted pepper and cheese-stuffed dough on top -- divine. Meze Board: The hummus was creamy and rich, paired perfectly with fresh pita. Shepherd Salad: Fresh, crisp, and balanced. My only small regret was that our server misunderstood when we asked for the dough crust to-go -- I realized the next day it wasn't packed up. Honestly though, I couldn't even be upset, because the food was just that good. For drinks and dessert: Turkish Coffee - small but strong, beautifully presented with a piece of Turkish delight on the side that was everything I had ever imagined a Turkish sweet to be: chewy, fragrant, and delicately sweet. Künefe - a dream come true! A warm, crunchy pastry with gooey melted cheese inside, topped with sweet syrup and pistachios. It was rich, nutty, and sweet without being overwhelming -- the perfect ending. Turkish Martini - decent, but not nearly as memorable as the food. All together, including tip, it was about $140. For the amount and quality of food, the attentive service, and the one-of-a-kind experience, it was absolutely worth every single cent. Piraye Kitchen isn't just dinner -- it's an experience. This is a must-try-before-you-die type of place. Oh, and happy birthday, Amy!

The interior is very mom and pop with soft lighting and old ceiling tiles but well maintained with an obvious attention to detail and care. There is limited seating inside; you've got long padded benches set in the walls and small tables. They seem ideal for parties of 4 or take-out. You can squeeze maybe one bigger party inside if you really want. I snagged a lamb sandwich on recommendation; it comed your choice of a chopped salad, cup of soup, or rice. I ended up going with the soup of the day which is a curry chickpea. The lamb sandwich was a definite winner. There's a lot of care and that same attention to detail to constructing it. There was a 15ish minute wait but perfectly acceptable since it all came out fresh. The lamb slices were super juicy and flavorful and the sauce added that extra spicy but not too spicy kick that went well with the softness of the pita and the crunch of the fresh lettuce. The soup was piping hot so I had to wait a few minutes to let it cool but flavorful and smooth. I'd gotten it as a potential dip but the sandwich did'nt need it so I'd probably go with the chopped salad next time. Overall, Cafe Sababa does a lot of what I enjoy in Mediterranean. I'd definitely stop in again and try out more items on their menu if I was in the area. A very good first impression.

And the food hall there is a large bar so if you wanted to drink with your food then that would be fine. Sheesh fries - The fries are pretty good actually. They give you a lot of fries because it feels like it's an entree type order. So even if you only got fries, you'd probably be good to go. They're top very well, and they have plenty of sauce. If you need more you can always ask for maybe some on the side. Shawarma egg roll - The egg rolls are really good. I kind of feel like I wish there were more of them LOL. But they were pretty damn good. They came with a couple of sauces but honestly, then you really need the extra and the sauces department. Hummus - The hummus was okay. Nothing too major. I have a friend who is Lebanese and I know what it feels like to have homemade hummus, so I'm really skeptical on that because I know what hummus should taste like LOL. But this was good. Actually I threw some hummus on the fries and it was all good. If you want quick food that actually tastes good, this is a good option. They're not a whole lot of Mediterranean restaurants in the Atlanta area that are stellar, and that is still true, but this one's pretty decent. If you want to stop off and try something that is good.
