Whewww, I canNOT believe America has arrived at normalizing paying $20 for basic breakfast fare. The world is changing and I've clearly been under a rock, as I don't normally eat breakfast. But I was out and about early in the morning and decided to stop by here right as they were opening. Don't get me wrong, it wasn't bad. But I definitely had a moment where I had to ask myself if that was a $20 well spent. Bronx Bagel Buggy is a SMALL deli in a middle-American Atlanta neighborhood that might still think it's in NYC. Hate to say it but this is why many southerners are lowkey pissed with the massive migration of northerners down here... I got the Standard (Bacon, Egg, Cheddar) on a rosemary salt bagel. While the bagel was tasty, the inside of the sandwich was not. Limp, soggy bacon. Cheap, McDonald's style egg patty. This sandwich should be $6 at most. The bagel itself was delicious and very well done -- this is clearly where they are putting in the effort and I have no qualms with it. But next time I'd just get the bagel by itself and skip paying more for what felt like not-so-great ingredients. I also got a chai latte with oat milk. Well made, but surely nothing spectacular. Holy cow... $6+ for that, too. Oat milk is an extra $.70. I don't know whether to be disgruntled with the owner or the local/federal taxes that has places charging like this LOL. It honestly just feels excessive, especially for the area it's in (love you Chamblee but I love you especially because you're affordable and not built around pretentiousness). Service was nice and it was clean when I went in. Perhaps the lunch sandwiches are more worth it? I am all here for spending a pretty penny on food but I am lost on this one.

Chamblee is really killing it these days. I dropped Loretta at the vet for some scans so I looked around for a local breakfast place and noticed the BBB getting some great reviews. They have a great parking lot but my GPS had me going in the wrong way so I circled the block one before arriving. The interior is cozy but there are plenty of tables. I sat by the door to eat in but I sat next to where the to go orders are picked up. It was busy. I went for a very basic breakfast of a toasted everything bagel with butter and cream cheese and a coffee. The bagel was soft yet crunchy and the toppings delicious. Regular drip coffee was good too. I really want to go back soon, this is great!

Been missing New York since we left and this place brought me back! The bagels were delicious even their vegan CC and they have Hal's seltzers and chips! The inside is decorated in a way to make you feel like you're back in NYC. Everyone there was nice and helpful. Will be coming back for sure!

Another bagel gem in NE Atlanta! Located in Downtown Chamblee, there is a small parking lot and plenty of free parking along the street. Bronx Bagel Buggy is a small establishment; they have seating and free wifi but you have to get there early. There was a consistent line of customers, and they were buzzing with online orders as well. Lots of bagels sold out quickly so if you're attached to a particular flavor, place your order online! The Nova lox sandwich was delicious. I wasn't in the mood for coffee so I had a bottle of fresh squeezed orange juice to go with it. The garlic bagel was crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, and tasted delicious. They also sell many flavors of homemade cream cheese, as well as deli staples like half sour pickles. The staff are friendly and helpful. I'll be back!

We stopped by the Bronx Bagel Buggy this morning, and while some reviewers found it tight, confusing, and chaotic, I'd say those folks have clearly never set foot in a real NYC bagel shop. The buzz, the chatter, the quick pace; it's all part of the charm. The decor leans a bit gimmicky with everyone in fedoras, which honestly made me roll my eyes a bit. It's cute, but not really necessary when the food can speak for itself, and it does. The bagels are legit. Lightly crisp on the outside, soft and chewy inside, and they've got flavors you don't often see, like pumpernickel everything, which I hadn't had in years. I ordered a sausage, egg, and cheese on that very bagel with a bit of scallion cream cheese. The egg wasn't that spongy prefab kind, and the sausage was the real deal (you can see it in the photo, thick, flavorful, and cooked perfectly). Paired with a hot black coffee that was bold without being bitter, it was everything I needed to start my morning.

Bronx Bagel Buggy is an adorable spot to get some breakfast in Chamblee! I have been hearing about it for so long and was excited to get out there and try it. We went around 10AM on the Wednesday before the 4th of July and this place was packed! The would be my biggest con to this place as it is TINY! Like 3 2-top tables max and there is no room for sitting around inside. Once you're in there though they have a good menu! I opted for a classic bacon egg and cheese and got a bagel to go with scallion cream cheese. Overall, I enjoyed my bagels! My only complaint is that they are are defintely smaller than other local bagel joints BUT it still was delicious! If you're in the area and looking for a classic NY style bagel I think this is a great option!

You can find Bronx Bagel Buggy at 5494 Peachtree Rd Chamblee, GA 30341. It's in a row of buildings facing Peachtree Rd where Rust-n-Dust used to anchor on the corner (around the corner to the right and behind the row is Contrast Artisan Ales and around the left is Chamblee Tap and Market - both also worth visiting). Parking in this area is hit-or-miss - there's a lot of parking on the streets and in front of buildings but frankly there isn't enough so you may need to walk a bit (why I suggest you take a look at the nearby pubs nearby). I consider this one of those hidden gems you hear about but as the actual storefront is small and rather buried, need to make some effort to visit. These are classic New York style bagels, both boiled and baked so they have the perfect chew. I've now eaten there a handful of times and it's become my favorite bagel joint. The Reuben bagel sandwich is filling and delicious and any of the bagels are worthwhile if you want something lighter. Try the egg bagel if they have them for something unusual that you don't normally see in Atlanta. Service is terrific but more fast-casual or classic counter-service than something you'd find someplace fancier. Expect to find a line so better to get there earlier rather than later - also they can run out of your favorites - lots of carryout here. I'd suggest trying the online ordering option and just drop by for a pick-up.

New Yorkers would be pleased and they were as I saw several of them in there. A definite must try if you love a bagel! Bravo! No

Absolutely the best bagel I've ever had and the service is impeccable, busy and small but very quick and easy to get your food! One of the co owners Steven was there too and has exceptional custom service!!

Cute lil coffee and bagel spot in Chamblee. We got a cappuccino, iced coffee, and BLT sandwich on a Asiago jalapeño bagel. The bagel was really tasty and fresh! I would rate this place a 4/5

We ordered online at 9:15 am on Saturday, 2/22/25. Steven, one of the owners, was in and out of the kitchen dropping off online orders and he was so welcoming and friendly! We really appreciated it. He even went back to check on our order for us. The line wasn't as long that early. Not much seating inside, and a few tables outside. I always get a toasted everything bagel with raspberry jalapeño cream cheese. Always delicious and packed with cream cheese. Their bagels and cream cheese are just so good. I recommend ordering online to avoid the line.

At first there was a mix up with who was serving us do we got explained the drink menu twice. After our appetizer, we waited about 30-40 minutes for the rest of our items which took longer than we thought. They did give us some house made popcorn to keep us busy. Jahjoy pork belly: Tasty & tendor. I loved the papaya salad which left a refreshing contrast. A bit too saucy for me. Flavors were strong. Squid ink bucatini: our favorite! Must get dish - bucatini is perfectly al dente & the spicy sauce was very flavorful. Jumbo shrimp was delicious, and the anchovy on top left a nice strong flavor. Red snapper: This has some Vietnamese influences with the sauce. It was a lighter dish which was just OK for me, I would have liked the fish to have a crispier skin. Not much flavor besides the sauce which is inspired by canh chua. Wagyu flank steak: cooked to perfection and flavored well, loved the celery puree which was much tastier than we expected celery to be. Dessert was mint chocolate cake which was very tasty. I wish the cake was softer and meltier in the center but it was still good. Malt gelato was delicious. Could def taste the mintiness. Creme pat along the edges was a nice add to the cake with cacao nibs and popcorn for a textural contrast. I enjoyed it!! Overall we had a great meal and could tell the ingredients were very fresh. The presentation for all the dishes was beautiful!! We can tell the chef puts care in his food :) Appreciated the personal touch - they gave a handwritten card to my husband for his birthday!

It is absolutely amazing, but fair warning: it is *hot*. Even if you're used to Sichuan spice, this one may still be tough to deal with, but it's still incredibly flavorful and enjoyable. Just keep in mind that they don't adjust the heat level for this one. * **The Greens:** These are wonderful. They have a rich, savory pork flavor and are easily a must-order for me every single time. * **Shrimp and Grits:** This has a fantastic sauce that strikes the perfect balance--not too heavy, but not watery either. My only minor wish is that they'd add some andouille sausage to it (even if raised the price), but it's still a really well-executed dish. * **Southern Pho:** Really great and super hearty. It's a comforting bowl, though probably best enjoyed during the winter months. * **Drinks:** The cocktails are always creative and well-made, and they keep a really interesting beer list on hand too. ### 2. Off rip I ordered a sweet tea which was phenomenal. It tasted like it has a slight peach undertone to it, and it was the right amount of sweet. I ordered the bacon wrapped shrimp as my appetizer and the fried chicken with mashed potatoes and brussels (I dont like coleslaw). I was told the bacon wrapped shrimp was a new menu item. For $19? They were cool. The fried chicken was really good. It was still steaming hot inside, when I took my first bite. The chicken was tender and had a good crunch to it. The brussels were okay. I typically like a more sweet glaze on my brussels but they did the job. I liked the mashed potatos, they were a little runny; the gravy made up for that though. I'm not a biscuit person but the biscuit that came with this meal was very soft, fluffy, moist, and had butter throughout. It was a bummer the only choices of hot sauce available were Tabasco and Cholula. I usually like Texas Pete, Crystal, or Louisiana hot sauce in my chicken. I WILL say, the monkey bread was SOOOOO good. So soft, warm, with apples and vanilla ice cream. If I knew it was this good I would have ordered 2 to go. Ultimately everything my was good, I had a great experience, and lots of leftovers.

They are still adding small businesses inside, but that didn't take away from what is already available. If we visit the area again, I look forward to returning.

We love grabbing drinks here, playing games from their huge selection, or catching a game on one of their TVs. It's extremely family-friendly--you'll see plenty of parents with babies and kids--but it's also a great hangout for singles and groups, with a crowd that ranges from 20s to 50s. They offer a vast selection of beer, IPAs, and sours on tap, plus a solid handful of wine options. There's also a refrigerated section on the right with canned drinks, including hemp, CBD, and THC-infused options, and even kombucha for those skipping alcohol. We've been coming since they opened, and it's been fun to watch the concept evolve. Most recently, a barbecue spot opened inside, and it looks like more food options are coming--think food hall vibes off to the right. There's also a cute coffee shop that opened in the same building. Bonus PSA: Chamblee has an open container law, so you can walk around with your drink and bop to other nearby spots with ease. Love that

Hardly any patrons at 9 am on a Sunday. Lovely spot on the patio, buffered by ornamental trees. The menu had so many delightful options it was so hard to decide. I lean towards Hispanic flavors on the mornings after big nights out. I often look for some form of a huevos rancheros.... Sort of my measure of the merits of a breakfast joint. Although not a direct hit, the Chile Verde Benedict was definitely in the ballpark. The sauce was light and flavorful, and interesting how they do the tortilla stack to give the bulk of a eng muffin. I upgraded the side of potatoes for their supreme grits. Wow. No northerner that doesn't 'get grits' would deny these cheesy gooey savory mix of ground corn. Hubby got the Smashed Avocado Benny and loved it. Even the hash browns are fancy in their cylinder form. Service was friendly and prompt and did not mind all my questions and indecision...she got it...she loved the menu options and the joy the food brought. Next time coming in after noon to get the bubbles. By the time we left a line had started to form for groups of 4 or more.

I was, however, more impressed by their breakfast Riffs which has a more fusion flare to them. I ordered a sweet and spicy chai tea and the habanero pork belly breakfast fried rice. Both were quite tasty and healthy portion in size. The pork belly was a bit sweet and the habanero was in the orange sauce and was very mild (had to add additional hot sauce) but overall it was a great way to start the morning.
