I came here because of the great Yelp reviews and I was not disappointed. First, the parking garage requires you to register. They give 3 hours of free parking so you will not pay anything but the registration is annoying. The place is not that big but it is nice and extremely clean. The bathrooms are also really clean and spotless. The style is pre-fab shipping container so everything is extremely efficient. The staff is nice. I got to speak to the head person which gave me this special hot salsa. I tried the Arayes and the seasoned beef is amazing. I will come back to try other items.

Quick fast service for healthy food. Clean restaurant with inside & outside seating. The kids meal grilled chicken is a great filling size. Just enough portion to leave you satisfied & not overly full. My husband got the Shawarma laffe which he enjoyed as well.

I had a taste for Mediterranean food and they had really great reviews. They don't have table service, you have to order at the counter. The cashier was soo kind to explain different options on the menu. It didn't take long for my food to come to the table, but it looked and smelled delightful. The food was hot and fresh. The hummus seemed as if it was freshly prepared because I've never had hummus that smooth. Overall everything was great and I had mute than enough food to take home.

Things I loved: Service, cleanliness, menu options, food (tasty and fresh), seating options (indoor/outdoor) Things I liked: Parking options. Read the signs. Some spots are for southbound next door. A few street parking options. There is a parking deck but I'm not sure if it's for the residence of the apartment complex above. Things to note: Ask for your baklava warmed. I enjoyed mine. It had some heat. But I know if it was warmed a little more it would have been intergalactic. The food was really good. I eat with my eyes so my final bill, reflected a foodie eating out. I'll be back.

Looking for a gyro and found this gem! Very fast service and nice inside and outside to enjoy a meal. The gyro meat was very flavorful, juicy and tender. I would like extra toppings but there was a lot of meat which I can't complain about for the price.

Lunch at SababaRas was pretty delicious! This spot had been on my radar for a while, so I finally decided to give it a try--and I'm glad I did! To start, parking was a breeze. There's a garage right next door that offers free 3-hour parking, which took away any parking stress. Major win. Upon arrival, I was warmly greeted at the register. I took a little extra time to decide--everything looked so good! I ended up going with the Deconstructed Plate and chose the shawarma chicken as my protein, with Mediterranean and Majadra rice. I added harissa and tahini sauces, and one of the staff recommended their house hot sauce, which definitely brought the heat! If you know me, you know I can't resist a house special juice. I went with the Limonia--light, refreshing, and not overly tart. Just the right balance. Final verdict? Flavor-packed, great portion size, and well worth the value. I'll definitely be back!

Don't be fooled by the fast-food joint ambience. Came for their smoky baba ganoush, but couldn't resist the shawarma plate. Some of the best baba ganoush I've had since Toronto and NYC. The chicken shawarma is as good as I've had in Detroit and Windsor. My wife's gotten falafel here, and it's pretty good, too. Light and not rancid/too oily. Love their hummus (now, if they wanted it and added a touch more olive oil...) and flat bread. Oh yeah. Love the flatbread!

Loved this restaurant and the food. There are several Sabaraba locations in the Sandy Springs area. We first chose the Roswell Road location in Sandy Springs but it turned out to be a food truck incorporated into the parking lot. Not a good choice on a rainy day so we drove over to the Chamblee location which was more suitable to a bad weather day. The service was top-notch and the staff very attentive. The vibe was trendy and casual which made our pita handhelds and falafels taste better!

Of Mediterranean food, I'm always meh about it. I've tried places where the food has been good and places where the food is dry or tasteless. So that's where I stand with these types of food. Amazing food! I'm pleasantly surprised by the food quality and service. Our friends say the food and sauces here are really great. And our experience really corroborate this. Our small group sampled some tahini shake (?). I liked the thickness of it, but the group said it was too sweet. The falafel we sampled was really tasty. There was a nice texture and flavor to it. Gyro pita heaven: My pick was interesting. There was the traditional feta cheese, gyro meat, and diced cucumbers. The fries gave it an interesting element. There was a lot of flavors and textures going on. The hubs really seemed to like this pick. This really seemed like a whacky combo of items, but it works. The receipt had a description of gyro flatbread with fries... Haha. Arayes: I really adored the flavor and texture of the hub's pick. My mouth went to an instant wow. I'm more of a simple and classic gal so the tender beef really hit the spot. This Israeli salad was simplistic but tasty and refreshing. And the bonus was that it isn't composed of leafy greens but of small chunks of cucumbers, tomatoes, and bell peppers in oil and lemon juice. I've rarely dined at a place where it's truly Israelian. This was a nice discovery to be able to try something tailored to a specific country versus general region like the Mediterranean.

Customer Service: 5 stars: THE WHOLE STAFF WAS AWESOME!!! came in 8/21/25 around 3pm we were greeted with enthusiasm by a Caucasian Fellow and an African American fellow. They saw i was extremely hot and offered me complimentary water. See its little things like that, that makes you want to patronize a place and become a repeat customer. Price point: 5 stars: we spent $70 on 4 people (including a kids meal),... we did try a lot of the things on the menu. The falafel burger was great if you love falafel. The falafel laffa was spectacular if you love falafel. We enjoyed the falafel! Lol the chicken was well seasoned for the deconstructed plate, and the gyro hit the spot. The cauliflower was amazing! A must try. Food: 5 stars: read above Cleanliness: 5 stars: unisex restrooms, they were clean and tidy. Overall: i would come back if I was in the area. Phenomenal customer service, great food, bang for the buck, and left FULL!!! totally filling and a great value. Keep up the great work guys!

So I was looking for kind of favorite Mediterranean spot but they were closed. So I did a search for what's close and I ended up finding this. I'm from Detroit so I'm very skeptical on Mediterranean food since Detroit has a very big Mediterranean population. But the ratings were pretty decent so I said it was worth a try!. They have a really good menu, plenty of options, so it's probably okay. So this is actually in the building of an apartment complex. It's really nice too, they have indoor and outdoor seating. The outdoor seating has umbrellas so if it's sunny or something along those lines you can actually go ahead and be covered from too much sun. They have free street parking and they also have parking in a structure. But just to remind you that it's an apartment complex so I can't be sure that's free all day. I walked in and the guy who was there was super cool. He was new so he was trying to fumble his way through the POS system. But that's fine, no big deal. He and I talked, and I understood. Sometimes learning those things could be tough. But he really assured me when he explained the menu. When I asked for details. He even asked me if I wanted extra saucer whatever the case may be from my order and I appreciate it that, because I didn't have to ask him for it. Everything here is pretty well priced and decently affordable. It's in a very walkable area so the last time it went I actually walked around the neighborhood into the food got done. Here's a couple of spots and restaurants. You can walk to a grab, a drink or something like that. A beef kabob pita - The beef was really good. It was stuffed to the brim and it was very tender and juicy. Chicken shawarma - The chicken shawarma was okay. It was more of a sandwich than a wrap but that was fine. It was very stuffed and one of them was actually really heavy, had a lot of heft to it. So it was super filling. I had a good flavor, although it needed a little extra so I used some hummus just to balance it out. Hummus - I thought that the hummus was good. It felt like it was made somewhat fresh and you can still see the oil on it so I know it wasn't coming straight from Kroger. It came with pita bread so you can use the pita to dip. Shawarma fries - The fries were okay. I probably would not get them again though. They weren't bad but they were soft and a little bit soggy because of everything that was on them. I like my french fries to have a little bit of crunch or some firmness to them, but these didn't hold up. It's pretty close and it's open 7 days a week so this may be a go-to for me in the future.

    Vegan custard and baklava

It's a fairly casual spot, which is what I needed with a very energetic 6 month old in tow. They had ample high chairs at the ready as well, which is great as zi got some hands free time until.je decided he was over it. I was also craving something fresh and healthy. I got their chicken shwarma plate, blended mint and lemonade drink, baklava, and this vegan custard with a rose syrup. Foe the shwarma plate, the chicken was tender but could have used a bit more spices to amp up the flavor, the pita was super fluffy, the cucumber tomato mix was fresh, and the hummus creamy without being to tangy. I wish there had been some type of pickled component that other spots have, and also that they had harissa as they only had harissa ketchup and harissa mayo. The lemon drink was refreshing and not too sweet, and it didn't taste like instant lemon mix powder or citric acid, thank goodness. Backlava was moist and in the rolled form, not the sheet pan version. The vegan custard was ok. The custard was very coconut forward, which is not my favorite. Maybe some pistachio paste and cardamom could have toned that down in the recipe. The syrup had a weak rose taste, but I liked the almonds on top. Overall a good spot to get a healthier meal option, but a couple of changes could really make them special.

It wasn't busy at the time however, it did pick up throughout the night. It's a small restaurant with indoor/outdoor seating (outdoor is a covered patio with fans and heaters provided). It seems like the restaurant only provides valet parking, but theres not fee. For appetizers, we ordered 'kibbeh nayyeh' which comes with pita bread and a few radishes. I believe the menu said it was going to spicy, but it wasn't. If you're into tartare, it was very good, light and easy to eat. I ordered the saffron sunset margarita which was good and my boyfriend got a mint lemonade- very refreshing with the freshly ground mints! For entrees, we ordered the 'chicken kabab' and 'rosemary & za'atar chicken' paired with basmati rice which they top with sliced almonds. Both entrees were good, but the rosemary & za'atar chicken was the winner of the two! You can really taste the herbs. Lastly, for dessert we shared the baklava. It came with 4 small bite size baklava with a few scoops of ice cream all topped with extra pistachios. I'm a huge fan of baklava and it was a great way to end dinner. I also have to give a shoutout to the waitress we had, Fatima! Since it was our first time there, almost everything we ordered was based off of her recommendation and we didn't regret it. She was kind enough to give us a sample of the honey harissa to pair with the chicken and it was great choice, I highly recommend trying it. We will absolutely come back again! The second I saw it, I didn't care about the price -- I knew I wanted it, so I planned us a date night. When we arrived, there was a birthday party going on, and I asked the maître d' if they were limiting seating because of the event. He didn't quite understand me, so my fiancée just asked for a table for two, and we were seated quickly. The setup was nice, although I'm personally not a fan of pre-set plates and glasses on tables (you never know how long they've been sitting there). Still, our server was fantastic -- attentive, helpful, and made the night smooth. We came for the famous Piraye Kebab Tray. At first, we were looking at the $165 option (Chef Tray + 1 Meze Board + Shepherd Salad + 4 Orders of Piraye Kebab with rice, all baked inside the dough). When we mentioned the price, our server kindly told us about the smaller 2-order option for $85 -- perfect! And let me tell you, Lord above, when I say I would do some things to eat this food again... words cannot describe how incredible it was. It has been three days since, and I'm still thinking about it. I even posted it on my stories, and over 10 people have messaged me asking about it. Chef Tray: Overflowing with juicy, flavorful meat, perfectly seasoned rice with chickpeas (I swear it was made with veal stock), and that roasted pepper and cheese-stuffed dough on top -- divine. Meze Board: The hummus was creamy and rich, paired perfectly with fresh pita. Shepherd Salad: Fresh, crisp, and balanced. My only small regret was that our server misunderstood when we asked for the dough crust to-go -- I realized the next day it wasn't packed up. Honestly though, I couldn't even be upset, because the food was just that good. For drinks and dessert: Turkish Coffee - small but strong, beautifully presented with a piece of Turkish delight on the side that was everything I had ever imagined a Turkish sweet to be: chewy, fragrant, and delicately sweet. Künefe - a dream come true! A warm, crunchy pastry with gooey melted cheese inside, topped with sweet syrup and pistachios. It was rich, nutty, and sweet without being overwhelming -- the perfect ending. Turkish Martini - decent, but not nearly as memorable as the food. All together, including tip, it was about $140. For the amount and quality of food, the attentive service, and the one-of-a-kind experience, it was absolutely worth every single cent. Piraye Kitchen isn't just dinner -- it's an experience. This is a must-try-before-you-die type of place. Oh, and happy birthday, Amy!

You can squeeze maybe one bigger party inside if you really want. I snagged a lamb sandwich on recommendation; it comed your choice of a chopped salad, cup of soup, or rice. I ended up going with the soup of the day which is a curry chickpea. The lamb sandwich was a definite winner. There's a lot of care and that same attention to detail to constructing it. There was a 15ish minute wait but perfectly acceptable since it all came out fresh. The lamb slices were super juicy and flavorful and the sauce added that extra spicy but not too spicy kick that went well with the softness of the pita and the crunch of the fresh lettuce. The soup was piping hot so I had to wait a few minutes to let it cool but flavorful and smooth. I'd gotten it as a potential dip but the sandwich did'nt need it so I'd probably go with the chopped salad next time. Overall, Cafe Sababa does a lot of what I enjoy in Mediterranean. I visited Sheesh over the weekend, as we were in the area for our family reunion. I wanted to try…read moresomething different and this did not disappoint. I had the falafel plate with two sides and it was a very nice portion for the price point. The staff was very friendly while explaining the menu. This location is inside Politan Row and at that time there were plenty of seats and it was clean.

Pretty decent Mediterranean spot. They have plenty of options so overall you should be able to find…read moresomething that works for you. It's located in a food hall and done with it so they have a lot of other options. The pool hall has free parking so necessarily worried LOL. Trying to find some place to park. And the food hall there is a large bar so if you wanted to drink with your food then that would be fine. Sheesh fries - The fries are pretty good actually. They give you a lot of fries because it feels like it's an entree type order. So even if you only got fries, you'd probably be good to go. They're top very well, and they have plenty of sauce. If you need more you can always ask for maybe some on the side. Shawarma egg roll - The egg rolls are really good. I kind of feel like I wish there were more of them LOL. But they were pretty damn good. They came with a couple of sauces but honestly, then you really need the extra and the sauces department. Hummus - The hummus was okay. Nothing too major. I have a friend who is Lebanese and I know what it feels like to have homemade hummus, so I'm really skeptical on that because I know what hummus should taste like LOL. But this was good. Actually I threw some hummus on the fries and it was all good. If you want quick food that actually tastes good, this is a good option. They're not a whole lot of Mediterranean restaurants in the Atlanta area that are stellar, and that is still true, but this one's pretty decent. If you want to stop off and try something that is good.
