From the time we greeted until the time we left, what a wonderful experience! You know you are in the right place when you see mostly locals. The decor and lighting in the restaurant was so relaxing. Arsham, our server was professional and knowledgeable. He also made our drinks, a Smokey old fashion and a Sidecar that were incredibly smooth. We are familiar with Turisk food but wanted to try something we have not had before. Arsham was great at recommending items. We ordered the Istanbul Pide which gave you a variety of kusbasi, mozzarella, and seasoned ground beef. We also ordered Beef Chop Shish which was ribeye steak skewer , rice pilaf, & red onion salad. All very well seasoned. I loved how the kitchen had an opening so you saw who was cooking. We were travel through and were so glad we had dinner here. This is my second visit to this restaurant and the experience was very similar both times! We walked in and were seated very quickly. The restaurant looks nice on the inside, it has an industrious look coupled with Turkish highlights. The servers are very friendly here and the food is wonderful. We had many dishes to include: Beet salad- big enough to share with up to four people. It has arugula, beets, feta, walnuts, dried cranberries and balsamic with olive oil. Amazing flavors! Liver app- I enjoy liver, so for me it was delicious. It comes with onion, tomatoes, parsley and thin layers of pita like bread triangles. The pick 3 cold mezze had the Labne, smoked eggplant and hummus (1st visit) eggplant was absolutely delicious. The Labne was also a big hit and can be used as a dip for your proteins. Falafel- cooked very well and comes with tahini and hummus. Could pretty much make a meal out of this. Beef hummus- The beef is tender and seasoned well. It's laid on top of the hummus, so nothing really out of the ordinary here, but it is delicious. Lahmacun- I'm not the biggest fan of this dish, but my wife really likes it. I prefer Pide Chicken kabob- very tender, seasoned just right. This is my favorite! although I can't find the pictures, I also had the beef kabob on my first visit, along with the lamb chops. The beef was super tender and delicious. The lamb was also very delicious. The first time I was here, I had my in-laws with me, who visit Istanbul twice a year. They said that this place has great food, it's as good as some of the better restaurants in Istanbul. The restrooms are very clean and the service is great! One of the best dining experiences we have had in this area. The restaurant is beautiful. We stopped by on a Saturday at 3:30 pm. It wasn't too busy. We got seated right away and the food came out quickly. We started with a teapot of their special tea which was amazing and I loved the Turkish sugar cubes. We ordered the doner kebab and the lahmacun. Both were amazing and the portions very generous. The shaved beef was so tender and I loved the spices. The rice was cooked perfectly and very flavorful. The lahmacun is unique and a special find. It was large and so moist yet the bread was crispy. All the flavors and spices were great. I absolutely love this place and it's perfect for a date night or a night out with friends. I would come back here to try every other dish on the menu. read more

Yes, yes, and YES. I've been on the hunt for some good Mediterranean cuisine, and never even thought of Turkish food before. But this spot has proven that Turkish cuisine easily beats the other regional options (sorry, not sorry). We were here on a birthday dinner for hubs, and I really enjoyed myself in this stylish, moderately upscale restaurant. The service was so-so, and way more relaxed than I've experienced for typical American dining. I'll attribute that to cultural differences in service, because the food and ambience made up for it big time. Everything tasted phenomenal. Absolutely phenomenal. Again, the service was a little disappointing. Our servers were generally young, and spent a lot of time hanging by the kitchen. But they were friendly in the few interactions we had, which was appreciated. The food came out very quickly. It was beautifully plated on equally beautiful dining sets. The Cabernet Sauvignon (albeit unknown to the server) was delicious. Great portions. Even better seasoning. You know it's real when they season the rice! We were able to get a slice of the most immaculate, robustly flavored baklava I've ever had the pleasure of tasting. They put a little birthday candle on it as well. I couldn't have chosen a better place to celebrate. Extra bonus points for the clean and well-appointed restrooms. They had an installed bidet y'all...... A BIDET! If you know, you know! I'm a fan. Service was great and friendly. Gave us some recommendations, which very much aligned with what I was planning on ordering. So that was good encouragement for my choices. Food was fantastic, tried some new unfamiliar Turkish food. Hummus was great. Doner Kebab was tasty. The Turkish Manti was very new for us, but wife and I really liked it. Never had dumplings with yogurt before. The Kubasi Pride was interesting and good. Like a Turkish Pizza? Kids Grilled Chicken for the little one which was basically Chicken Kebab. Finally finished off with some delicious rice pudding. This place looks very new, ambiance of is modern and clean with some classic Turkish ceiling chandeliers? Regardless, a nice experience. We were welcomed and seated quickly without a reservation on an October Friday evening. Knowing the restaurant hasn't been open for long, we were pleasantly surprised to see it filling up and getting busier as we ordered. We had some questions about the menu so the server was helpful in giving us advice. There is a very limited bar menu, and the wine isn't good. However, the food was tasty and fresh. The dips come with pita and just a few vegetables. The Pide is a bread-based appetizer to share - we chose the Istanbul Pide so we could try three different flavors. The Beef Shish was fantastic. It was extremely cold in the restaurant, which was a shame - layer up to stay warm! We had to call the server over several times for extra water, drinks, silverware etc so the meal was a little slower than we'd expected. Overall it was a good experience, and we'd return (with heavy sweaters!) to try more of the entrées. Hopefully they'll expand the bar offerings over time too. Went here with a friend for lunch today. Beautifully decorated space. Service was top notch. Food came quickly, plates were removed, overall efficient and courteous! We ordered a trio cold appetizer and a lentil soup for a vegan person and a combo pide and iskender kebab for other 2 to share. Food was good but a bit under seasoned. We had to ask for salt and pepper. Well made but a little more seasoning could have elevated it. We also ordered kunifa which was well made and perfectly sweet. Overall, worth a visit to try new dishes but I was totally disappointed to see that there was no veggie option in the entree section so for our family with a vegan member, it will be hard choice. WOW this place is absolutely amazing!!! First of all, I'm normally not a fan of baba ganoush but my friend wanted to try it and holy crap it was the best thing I've ever had! The people are so lovely and the ambiance is nice, it gives off a cool middle eastern vibe. The Turkish Manti is absolutely delicious and unlike anything I've ever had before. Came here on a Saturday night for a nice dinner, and it did not disappoint. The mezze trio was delicious! Especially the smoked eggplant. The Adana kabob was juicy and well-seasoned. And the rice pudding was insanely good! The waitress recommended it as it is made in house, and I'm glad I listened. The cold mezze babaganoush, labneh and the spicy ezme were delicious (mezze trio) - although I would recommend only one for two people! The bread is also fresh and delicious. Had the Doner Kebab and Chicken Shish - highly recommend. Must drink Doner with Ayran! End the meal with Turkish tea or Turkish coffee! I really went back for the appetizers. All the food was good. Service excellent. They were out of the dumplings I wanted to order so I had the Doner again which is like a gyro meat. Very thin sliced. They say they make it there. Not too busy when I went and we had a nice quiet meal with the rest of our table. Brought home more food and had it today. What a gem of a find on Buford Highway. This Turkish restaurant exceeded my initial expectations. We ordered our food to go, mixed grill , medium well and the Lahmacun. The mixed grill was cooked perfectly and the flavors of each grilled meat were very good. The Lahmacun was also a highlight! Perfectly done with just the right amount of herbs spices and toppings. They've been open for about 5 months yet the food and customer service are that of a well established restaurant. I'll definitely be back to dine in their restaurant as the ambiance was very nice and extremely clean. If you're eating solo, they also have a very nice bar area. read more

This is our second time in one week and we just had to come back and try some more of the items on the menu and it did not disappoint. I've been living in the US over 20 years and this is the most authentic Turkish food I have had in all my years of living here. I definitely recommend the Iskender, Beyti Kebap, Pide, Lentil Soup, and Lahmacun. All of these are dishes that have small nuances that can very easily take it from really good to bad with one small touch but here they aced every single one. Five star read more

If this kind of disrespect can happen to a loyal, repeat customer, then new customers have no chance at all. I ordered a well-done gyro (doner). However, it was not prepared as requested. They served me thickly cut pieces from the very end of the meat, and it was undercooked. I sent the plate back and asked for freshly cut, well-done gyro. One of the staff members told me that the doner was finished and suggested I order something else. I understood the situation, as these things can happen, and mutual understanding is important. I then ordered an Adana kebab. While I was waiting for my Adana kebab, they took the meat from the plate I had already returned--meat that was covered in tomato sauce--heated it somewhere improperly, and brought it back to my table. As you can see in the photo I shared, this plate was something that should never be served to a customer. I did not accept it and asked for the check. The explanation I was given was that the chefs inside were "being stubborn." On top of that, they sent the plate back in an even worse condition. Up until this incident, everything had been great. There were times when I ate here three times a day. I have had lunch here on two occasions -- I had to reorder the same entree and main dish on the second visit as it was so good the first visit. Both of my dining partners loved their meals as well. The portion sizes are quite generous ( great for sharing or take home for a second meal). If you are pescatarian or vegetarian you have plenty to choose from (as will carnivores). The service was also great -- friendly, prompt, and they check in on you to see if you need anything else at appropriate intervals. Highly recommend! read more

this is some of the best turkish food i've had in my life, and i've had a lot. absolutely bomb. the meat is succulent and juicy, very flavorful, you can't go wrong with any of it. they make it all in house, even the gyro. the liver and branzino is also very good. everything i had was phenomenal. i have no photos because we ate it all quickly. the waitress is also INCREDIBLY kind and helpful!!!! had great recommendations and was just generally great. service was pretty quick! elegant decor and ambiance. read more
