    Istanbul Pide -- incredible!

Yes, yes, and YES. I've been on the hunt for some good Mediterranean cuisine, and never even thought of Turkish food before. But this spot has proven that Turkish cuisine easily beats the other regional options (sorry, not sorry). We were here on a birthday dinner for hubs, and I really enjoyed myself in this stylish, moderately upscale restaurant. The service was so-so, and way more relaxed than I've experienced for typical American dining. I'll attribute that to cultural differences in service, because the food and ambience made up for it big time. Everything tasted phenomenal. Absolutely phenomenal. Again, the service was a little disappointing. Our servers were generally young, and spent a lot of time hanging by the kitchen. But they were friendly in the few interactions we had, which was appreciated. The food came out very quickly. It was beautifully plated on equally beautiful dining sets. The Cabernet Sauvignon (albeit unknown to the server) was delicious. Great portions. Even better seasoning. You know it's real when they season the rice! We were able to get a slice of the most immaculate, robustly flavored baklava I've ever had the pleasure of tasting. They put a little birthday candle on it as well. I couldn't have chosen a better place to celebrate. Extra bonus points for the clean and well-appointed restrooms. They had an installed bidet y'all...... A BIDET! If you know, you know! This spot will surely be a go-to for me moving forward.

I'm a fan. Service was great and friendly. Gave us some recommendations, which very much aligned with what I was planning on ordering. So that was good encouragement for my choices. Food was fantastic, tried some new unfamiliar Turkish food. Hummus was great. Doner Kebab was tasty. The Turkish Manti was very new for us, but wife and I really liked it. Never had dumplings with yogurt before. The Kubasi Pride was interesting and good. Like a Turkish Pizza? Kids Grilled Chicken for the little one which was basically Chicken Kebab. Finally finished off with some delicious rice pudding. This place looks very new, ambiance of is modern and clean with some classic Turkish ceiling chandeliers? Regardless, a nice experience. Plan on making it one of our regular stops. The area seems fairly new with several interesting restaurants.

We were welcomed and seated quickly without a reservation on an October Friday evening. Knowing the restaurant hasn't been open for long, we were pleasantly surprised to see it filling up and getting busier as we ordered. We had some questions about the menu so the server was helpful in giving us advice. There is a very limited bar menu, and the wine isn't good. However, the food was tasty and fresh. The dips come with pita and just a few vegetables. The Pide is a bread-based appetizer to share - we chose the Istanbul Pide so we could try three different flavors. The Beef Shish was fantastic. It was extremely cold in the restaurant, which was a shame - layer up to stay warm! We had to call the server over several times for extra water, drinks, silverware etc so the meal was a little slower than we'd expected. Overall it was a good experience, and we'd return (with heavy sweaters!) to try more of the entrées. Hopefully they'll expand the bar offerings over time too. Glad to have Istanbul in the neighborhood!

Finally a place to get lahmacun and pide! Everything tasted delicious and authentic. The portions are huge and we definitely over ordered. The lahmacun itself is 4 big pieces. The place is nice and spacious and the service is quick and great. There's ample parking outside so it's an easy place to visit and get great food.

If you are looking for some home made Mediterranean food thiiiiiiis is the spot to go, My very first experience was impressive on so many levels for one the owner at the time and her husband were AMAZING made us feel at home and like family (1st time there off rip) and then there is the food, simply a match made in heaven is what I call it! Cute little place nothing spectacular on the looks but it is cute and it definitely feels cozy. I will continue to go here because I feel like my mother in law and sister in laws are up in there cooking even with the new owners the food is still top notch

The restaurant is easily accessible and very welcoming. We started with an arugula salad topped with roasted beets and walnuts, followed by stuffed grape leaves, falafel, and muhammarah dip. We also received bread and a dipping sauce with the order, which was fresh, warm, aromatic, and delicious. The entire meal was flavorful and satisfying. Spots I would rather recommend for a nice night out are Delbar, Rumi's, and Yalda. My friends and I tried the Muhammara Dip, the Feta Cheese Rolls (reminiscent of spanakopita but no spinach and in roll form), the Truva Dumplings, and the Iskender Kebab. The Iskender Kebab and the Muhammara were the best of the bunch, but overall I think I was expecting more punch from the spices and greater nuance in the flavors of each dish. The thing I honestly enjoyed most was the complimentary bread and sun-dried tomato dip, which has gotten a number of shoutouts of Yelp already. I would come back to this spot to get a handful of appetizers, eat that bread, and hang out for a few hours. It does seem like the restaurant needs more staffing. Everyone we saw was very kind, but it took a long time to get a server's attention whenever we needed something.

There was indoor and outdoor seating and we chose to sit outside as it was a beautiful night. We had amazing service, great food, in a really cute neighborhood. We were especially impressed with the staff, and we had a member come out more than once to check with one of the people dining with us who had food allergies to ensure that how they were offering the food would be safe for her. It was also impressive that this restaurant was so busy on a Monday night. There were three of us dining, and we didn't even order any of the meats, and there was plenty of food for us. From the Mazzes, we had the Omani Shrimp, which had a great dipping sauce and the Beet Carpaccio. (they were very accommodating and put the whipped feta on the side). For the Spreads, we did the hummus with mushroom, shisito and egg, which was amazing and the labneh with pickled fennel on the top. It's served with taftoun bread which I would describe as a mix of a cracker and pita with sesame on top. We also enjoyed a raw vegetable dish with radish and the most delicious apple slices. Their heirloom tomato salad was beautifully presented and plentiful. They had a flight of condiments and we were able to sample zhoug, spicy tahina and torshi, which was a mixture of pickled vegetables. We ended with a pistachio lava cake with the most delicious cardamon gelato. Overall, we had an amazing meal in their beautiful outdoor space, and we thought the food was really reasonably priced. There's something for everyone on this menu whether you're vegetarian, vegan or a meat eater.

We were greeted by smiles and a welcoming team at the host table and I quickly appreciated the Mediterranean charm of the restaurant -- I felt like I could have been in Rick's Cafe Americain or the Blue Parrot! The dim lighting offered a great blend of intimacy and privacy, while still letting me see the people at my table and the food! And the food! My goodness, the food! We had a wonderful sampling of shared appetizers. The hummus and Dill labneh were solid and would have been deemed more than worthy by my Lebanese grandmother! Olives were a revelation, and were done in a preparation that included pomegranate which paired really well with the brine of the olives! The star of the first round, however, was the whole cauliflower, roasted and spiced. Without reservation, I can say it is the most I have ever enjoyed cauliflower - and I shall return for it again! I was already full by the time my falafel arrived for my main course. Falafel was exactly as it was supposed to be, and it was good. I ate it all, and then, a la Violet Beauregard upon leaving the chocolate factory, had to be rolled out of the restaurant! Our server and his food runners were all gems! The manager also came by to chat with us a couple of times. Great people at Delbar!

Everything was cooked with intention. Smoky, tender, well-spiced meats that tasted like they came straight off an open flame, not a reheated pan. Portions were generous without being sloppy, and every bite held its own. The service was warm, attentive, and unpretentious. Staff actually checked in without hovering, knew the menu, and made solid recommendations. That alone puts Adana ahead of a lot of places. The ambiance ties it all together.
