There is one employee who serves us and always asks about my daughter's softball whether she is in uniform or not. First time visiting. I liked it for a lunch spot. Quick, refreshing, healthy-won't leave you slumped for the rest of the day. Parking-in a really busy parking lot. Depending on the time of day, you may have to park further from the restaurant. Service-I immediately told them it was my first visit. Sometimes that's helpful so they can exercise patience with you. I've read that service was on the weak side. But I didn't experience that. Food: Everything is labeled. You can have a salad, pita, or a bowl. Then you can do half and half with the salad and bowl. They also have signature items. But most menu items can be customized. Their falafels are amazing. Not dry and the hummus is good. Drink options are amazing. Not super sweet but refreshing. Really enjoyed my food and the experience at Cava! It was my first time there and we were looking to try something new that was relatively healthy. My husband and I shared two grain and greens bowl to maximize the variety since we wanted to try so many things! They allow you to do half and half of things, including the proteins which is great. Our favorite meats were actually the spicy lamb (for those not into a super lamby taste don't get it lol) and the beef meatballs. This CAVA restaurant is in the Peachtree Station Shopping Center in Chamblee. We came here in mid-November on a Tuesday evening for dinner. The parking situation is very good; the lot is large, and, even though it's shared by all of the businesses in the shopping center, there shouldn't be any issue with finding available spaces, plus the lot provides free parking. We walked in, and waited in a short line. Customers go through the food line, and let the employees know their choices of what they want while building a bowl. Customers get to pick out the base, the dips and spreads, the protein(s), the toppings, and dressings. There were a few employees at the counter, but it really appeared that only one employee truly cared about the customers, greeting them and building their bowls for them, but the others didn't seem to want to engage with customers. I went through the line, and picked out the following items: Base: Greens and grains Dips and spreads (up to three): Roasted eggplant, harissa and tzatziki Protein: Grilled chicken Toppings: Pickled onions, Persian cucumber, crumbled feta, salt brined pickles, tomato and onion salad, Kalamata olives and fire roasted corn Dressings: Yogurt dill Everything looked and tasted fresh. I wish I could say that it was delicious, but I wasn't pleased with this bowl because, overall, it was vinegary/salty. I know, part of this was because of my choices. What I would like to see are a variety of more raw veggies that haven't had vinegar or salt (or anything else) added to them, with an option of adding vinegary/salty dressings. I actually had over half of the available toppings added to my bowl. I later spoke with R, who said he also wished that there were more plain toppings, like raw onions, sliced cucumbers and tomatoes. One more thing, and this is the deal breaker for me: a hot bowl of food from here is not an option. Lots of available and comfortable seating inside the dining area. I have ordered from Cava on Peachtree twice and both times, significant ingredients (like the FULL mains) were excluded completely.

I'm conflicted in my review. The staff did not know how to make the bowls/wraps that are listed on the board. They didn't seem to care either. Attitude just was not what I expected from restaurant staff. Empty restaurant on a Sunday evening (I get they are getting paid the same with or without my business). Also they don't even greet customers as they walk in? The management did not plan well for a holiday weekend as they were out of so many things. Out of arugula, olives along other things. Also why were so many staff prepping instead of helping on the line? The AC was out inside. Outdoor trash can was almost overflowing. My wrap was good which is the only thing warranting this 3 star review. Overall it was a disappointing experience. I think I'll avoid this location and try another one. read more

So if you like Mediterranean bowls, this is going to be a pretty decent place for you to go as far as Mediterranean fast food goes. If there is such a thing. You come in and it's plenty of space and it's super clean so that was definitely a perk! The line wasn't super long but they did take quite a while to get to the point where they could actually move the line. But once I got up to the line they were very friendly. The reason I gave this restaurant the rating I did is because basically they didn't do a great balance of handling carry-out or Ubereats orders with people who are actually in the store. Somebody would handle the Ubereats order and then basically leave somebody else waiting at the register, and that's really not the best practice to only have one person doing that because now you're making somebody else have to wait no matter who it is. They only had 2 people there, for lunch. It would probably be more efficient if you had 1 person on the register, 1 person handling the base of the bar, and the other handling the toppings and use an assembly line system... instead of the person who is doing the register doing the toppings too. Because the person on the register would have a difficult time doing toppings to bowls (that were linng up) and ringing up the current person and also trying to make sure the Ubereats person has their delivery too. It was a lot. So I can understand why there was such an extended wait. There were only 2 ppl in front of me (who only ordered single bowls), so it should have taken no time at all to blow through those. I did a create your own bowl, I got brown rice and spinach and chicken for the base of mine. I got tzatziki and hummus , and red hummus on mine. I thought that everything tasted good, it had a good flavor to it. I actually got a side of hummus and a pita just so that I could see how the hummus tasted on his own versus in the bowl itself. And the hummus was actually pretty good. Overall, would I go back, yes, because the bowl was good. read more

This review is far overdue. I thought I published it months ago. Well, when I went it was brand spanking new. Ha! I did an online order and when I went there was still a bit of a wait. Most ppl were getting to go, so there was no one sitting in the dining area. I had a bowl with chicken, corn, lentils, rice and crunchies. They kinda went overboard with the crunchies. I ended up taking the bulk of them off. Overall, it was decent. Needed a little salt and flavor. That was my first time there and I haven't been back. I may try again in the future. I love Cava (my go-to for fast casual food) but this location is just way too disappointing. Go to another one. I went around 7pm and they were already out of basically half the ingredients. The serving area was a mess with food and spills everywhere. I asked the staff if I could get a topping that they were out of. And she acted like I was asking for too much and reluctantly went to get another container of it. So the ingredients are available but they just aren't bringing them back out because it's too much work for them. Service is seriously lacking as I felt super unwelcome. Food is fine but my bowl was half its usual size because most of the stuff I get was out. I find staff at most Cavas generally really nice so this was sad. I do empathize as I worked at a restaurant myself years ago, but I don't think I would give an attitude like this :( read more

This is not my first time at Cava. Actually I've frequented several Cava locations in the Atlanta area since they opened over a year ago. My general response towards Cava has always been... great food, poor staff, inept management. However the Cava at peachtee Blvd in Brookhaven reversed all preconceived negative perceptions. I walked in about 30 min prior to close. I was welcomed with smiles by Gabby at the order counter and asked for my order. She had the coolest hat with custom pins! I made a few custom requests and she accommodated everything with smiles. I even asked for meatballs and although they ran put, they cooked some more a few min before close. Unbelievable!!! I will certainly prioritize this Cava locations as my preferred spot and hope Cava's regional management can hold other locations to thesame quality service and standards. The chicken was also amazing - a little sweet and spicy going on. For the dips, I got the tzatzki, crazy feta and roasted eggplant. The feta was my favorite! I had seen advertisements for this restaurant but I have never been. I happen to pass one on my way home this evening and I decided to try it. Holy cow this place had such a huge fresh variety of salad options, pita options... you name it they had super greens and fantastic grains and a spicy lamb meatball that was fantastic in my salad I got to pick and choose each topping and I was able to stay on my keto friendly diet. I even ate brussels sprouts and kale which will make all the people that look out for my health very happy!! I usually do the build your own and get it with the lamb meatballs. I absolutely love the vibe here and they always have good customer service. My only recommendation for them would be for the food to be a little hotter (my preference). Overall, I give it a 10/10 for the quality of food and portions. PS!
