This tastes so much better than chipotle but it is also more expensive. I added a drink and Blondie bar. The blondie is small but tasty. Came here looking for a satisfying and filling lunch. I got their chicken with white and brown rice with as many of the free toppings I could get. The first time I went, I had no idea what anything was, but the staff was incredibly helpful and friendly--they walked me through building a custom bowl I had seen in a previous review, and the experience was smooth and welcoming. This time, I decided to try one of their curated bowls--the Harissa Avocado--and WOW. It was packed with flavor! The combination of harissa honey chicken, Crazy Feta®, hummus, fire-roasted corn, avocado, rice, SuperGreens, and that harissa vinaigrette was chef's kiss. I had been to the location in Cumming a year ago so was excited to eat lunch here. I loved the chicken sate bowl that I had before and went in expecting to order the same thing. To my surprise the menu changed three weeks ago. Womp womp!! A very kind man wearing a name tag that said Dedric is the reason I stayed He convinced me to take the choose your own adventure route and build my own bowl. I went down the line choosing flavors that I thought I would enjoy, Dedric helped me through the experience, very patiently explaining each of the options on every station as we went. He gave me his opinions and sometimes suggested that I taste an item before I added it to my bowl. My final product was OK, but I think I need more practice with knowing which flavors mix well together. The ingredients are extremely fresh and delicious. I would've rated this a 5 if I had created a better pairing of flavors and enjoyed my bowl more. Honestly, if I lived closer to a Cava, I would eat here enough, that I know what to order. read more

Quick review: First time visiting Cava and the best way I can explain it is that it's like a Chipotle for Mediterranean food. Below are some pros and cons of my experience: Pros - food was tasty (I ordered a Greek Gyro) - Similar to Chipotle, they have those organic lemonades and teas that pretty much goes well with any meal, definitely prefer that over sodas. Cons - although the food was good, it was a bit overpriced, especially for the portion size. - there is only two menu ideas (gyros and bowls) and seemed to be a limit on the kind of combinations you could do. (I noticed some people building their own bowl, I may try that next time). - the staff were extremely friendly, but unfortunately didn't pretty much caution with being sanitized. They weren't wearing mask and some were even sitting on the counter where food is passed from the kitchen to be served. Overall, the food was good and the service was nice, just the cost and the lack of caution around being sanitized turned me off a bit. But maybe one day I'll give them another try, i mean I still have to build my own bowl! read more

Whelp. This was a very disappointing experience. Every employee looked like they genuinely hated their job and were beyond miserable. They were out of many ingredients. For example... one main menu entree is the Harissa avocado bowl.. "we are out of avocados"... there is a giant box of avocados in the counter that someone just didn't want to cut up... the silverware and napkins needed to desperately be replenished. I left without a fork for my order. Employees were also bucking with one another in front of customers. This location needs some serious help. There was a little line waiting to order but the workers tried to accommodate everyone quickly. I decided to do a bowel with white rice and super greens as the base and grilled chicken as the protein. Thomas and Teland were very polite and patient with me as I placed my order. Very good portions, and great customer service skills. However, when i got home to eat my usual lamb meatball bowl, I noticed that lb was medium rare. Also, my gf and I bowls were mixed up. The wrong proteins paired with wrong toppings. I contacted Cava the next morning, and after speaking with "guest experience" manager Rashad I am horrified that they have people like him with a title without any customer service etiquette. After explaining to him how my meatball was undercooked, he proceeded to tell me that I, the customer, who has photo proof that my food was NOT undercooked.. especially with that I come to Cava 3-4 weekly so I know the food quality when it comes to protein. Rashad then had the audacity to ask me what resolution am I looking for, as if he isn't the one with the "guest experience" title. They need new management IMMEDIATELY! read more

I've been meaning to leave this review for a while actually because every time I go to this CAVA the food and service are excellent. For some reason I couldn't find this location on Yelp though. Anyway, the restaurant is clean and the drink area is pretty tidy. I order the super greens and brown rice with falafel. The rice is always fully cooked, and the proteins are flavorful. The dressings are made fresh daily and they are sooo good. My favorite is the garlic (it's white) flavored one. The staff is rotated often but they're always friendly. Great location! I went in here today. It is located in what was a Zoe's Kitchen. I ordered on the app and chose the lemon chicken salad that was featured on their website. The order was ready on the shelves to your right when facing the counter. The salad was substantial enough to be a meal. Often salads are just a bit of fluff and your hungry 20 minutes later. It is also a very good option for those trying to eat healthy! The only negative here is that they are REALLY CHINCY on the salad dressing. After reading on their website how good the lemon dressing was I look at the salad and dont see any dressing on the salad and nothing on the side. I ask....they say its there! However Im used to being able to spot at least a bit of it and I couldnt see any. So he gave me some in the little plastic salsa type container. SO DONT LEAVE until you see if you have enough dressing. With all the salads over $10, I suggest putting one of those small cups of dressing in everyones bag. Many dont look, many get delivery. I would hate to be at home and found not enough dressing. read more

I'm so glad we now have a Cava in the Druid Hills area! I ordered to go and it was the perfect lunch. As you can see, I did a build your own salad bowl with all the mix-in's, and it was incredible. The ingredients are fresh and make for a delicious salad, and are even good as leftovers. My only complaint that it is a bit expensive. I have started buying ingredients to make similar salad bowls at home to save money, although the taste really just doesn't compare! read more

Food is pretty good when they don't run out of things. Most of the employees seem irritated about something. Let's just say I'd expect expect the same level of warmth at a prison cafeteria.
