I was looking for a place to get some breakfast with my mom and i stumbled upon this new restaurant on yelp and we decided to check it out.Not only was the food delicious but it was also excellent quality! Our server, Deedee was great, she told us a bit ab the menu and some of the food she likes. She also kept coming back to our table to ask how we were doing. She also recommended their signature latte which you can get hot or iced (we got both) they were VERY good, the hot one also had a design on top. Service was great but the food was not so much. I ordered pancakes with eggs and bacon and the pancakes were still raw. They were very doughy and tasted so much like batter. It seemed as if one of the waitresses already knew that my pancakes weren't cooked all the way through and she took it back. Second time I received it the pancakes were still very doughy. We went to Cattle Ranch after church service today, arrived at 10:35AM and was promptly seated. It took approximately 5 minutes to be asked for drinks, in which we ordered our breakfast at the same time. Our server, Barbara, did not check in to refill coffee or soft drink. We had to get her attention to do so twice during our visit. Our food came 30 minutes after ordered. It was not busy , maybe at 60% capacity and there was plenty staff. The issue may have been with the kitchen and zero communication from servers to the patrons. We saw a family who also had similar situation and their order had issues. My order was incorrect, I ordered the Triple with ranch beans, which is 3 eggs, 3 bacon, 3 kielbasa pieces, 1 slice of toast and was given potatoes. The young lady that brought the food, whom was not our server, was apologetic and immediately brought the beans out. Although the food was good tasting, service and kitchen times can kill a return visit. I'm not convinced that I will return. Please do a better job with consumer communication, timely ticket service and attending to your patrons. read more

Came in on a weekend around 11am, the restaurant was incredibly loud but we got seated right away. Ordered their cinnamon stuffed French toast assuming it would be sweet, but the mascarpone cheese filling had green bits (parsley maybe?) in it and tasted CHEESY and savory, which was super off putting. There was no indication that the French toast wouldn't be sweet, especially since mascarpone is used in desserts typically... Ate two bites but literally couldn't stomach eating anymore. The waitress offered to get me something else but we were running short on time so I basically wasted my $ on something that seems like it would be sweet... service was nice though. Came in on my daughter's recommendation based on pics alone! Place was full, loud due to a large holiday party. Sat near the front and was greeted by our server DeeDee. We asked if the orange juice was fresh, but sadly was not. As they brought the juice, we noticed a light colored lemon yellow color??? We asked is this orange juice? She said yes. Tasted it and was sour and bitter, sent it back and just got plain water. The water tasted worse than my tap water at home. Ordered pancakes and avocado toast. Simple enough right? Toast was supposed to be savory. The mascarpone cheese spread tasted odd, sweet maybe was going bad, but it clashed with the piece of roasted pepper and avocado, I wasn't sure what the purpose of whole sunflower seeds topped on avocado was. It was a no for me, so we sent it back. Sent back the toast for a breakfast burrito. The burrito was served with a side of overcooked soggy potatoes. The burrito was stuffed with more than 1/2 potatoes and bottled eggs. It was the beginning to the end for me. The 3 pancakes were not fluffy at all, flat and tasted doughy to me, almost shy from raw. I've had fluffier pancakes at IHOP and that's saying a lot considering I have had IHOP in years. Ate 1/2 of it, and couldn't eat the rest. Gave this place a try but fell short of my expectations. The best thing about this place is our server DeeDee. She was apologetic for the toast and juice. She was fair and made sure we were happy with our food. I try to be fair, but when you're hungry and paying for your meal, you should be able to be honest about the food and service to your server. Very, very good. A++ I had the short rib chilaquiles, and my friend had the eggs benedict. Both were delicious. My friend likes her poached eggs medium and has often gotten runny yolks, the Cattle Ranch Cafe nailed it, they were perfect for her. My short rib chilaquiles were delicious. Service was excellent. We were not in a hurry and wanted to sit and visit. The staff was completely fine with that. It's has a great vibe. A beautiful mural with a local slant depicting the dairy farms and the planes from the Chino airport. As a side note - they have real flatware not the cheap bent Dollar Tree forks and knives. Nice thick napkins and the plates were great. No Styrofoam here, even the to-go containers were paper not Styrofoam and to note, they were made in the USA. While we were waiting a server came around twice with samples of new coffees and drinks they are adding to the menu. A nice, delicious touch. There were many things on the menu I thought sounded delicious. We will be back. read more

The Chef onsite is incredible. The food is memorable and will make you want to come back for more. Deedee is kind and gives excellent recommendations. The ambiance fits the Chino community. Took a party of 7 in today and ordered off of the brunch menu . The food was unremarkable in every way imaginable. I had the short rib hash . It had 2 poached eggs on top . One egg was poached hard while the other was about medium . I was hoping for runny yolks on my hash . Instead I just put them on the plate that my toast came on . My wife had the fried chicken and waffle with poached eggs .Her eggs were about the same as mine. Her waffle was very soggy where the chicken had been laid . My daughter's burger was ok in her opinion as was my son- in- laws burrito but just ok . We also had 3 kids meals for my grandsons and they were happy . Our bill came to 160.00 which would be fine if the food was good but unfortunately the Cattle Ranch Cafe fell short for us . On a positive note our waitress was nice and did a great job. I don't like leaving reviews like this but calling our experience mediocre is being generous . We likely won't be giving this place a second shot . read more

I ordered the light breakfast" 2 x 2 " Would not do grilled tomatoes for breakfast as the chef said the breakfast food was prepped already ???? Couldn't slice a tomato ?? Yet they had sliced tomatoes for the avocado toast ? I wanted to substitute tomatoes instead of pancakes so I swapped 2 pancakes for a slice of toast . Husband's over medium eggs were runny , bacon was salty and greasy . South of the border menu but ran out of salsa hmmmmm . I had two runny eggs and one slice of cold sourdough toast . We went for Breakfast Sunday morning. The place is clean and the ambiance is inviting. The french toast was tasty, we also did the build-your-own omelet which we picked our 4 ingredients (onion, Jalapenos, sausage, and short rib) Only disappointed there were only 4 small bites of meat,it was mostly onion and the eggs were very overcooked. Service was so-so she had a hard time taking the order or bringing refills (water and lemonades) But it was very sweet. My family and I came here because of the good reviews. Overall this place wasn't what we expected. The customer service was bad, we didn't get checked on. The food was not good, the French toast tasted like I could make it at home, the pancakes were thin but dense and had a weird flavor, the potato's were too soft and mushy, the egg was burnt on the omelet, everything just had no flavor. I really wanted to like this place, it's local. It took a while for a server to take our drink order, we understood they had 2 larger parties(20+) but I think that's the simplest way to start. The food came in a pretty timely manner unlike other tables, I think they caught on and corrected which was good. I had to ask for extra silverware and ketchup again things that I think would be a given. We liked the feel of the place they had the games on & fireplace on the tv you can hear the people chatter. The pancakes texture gave off as if it was raw or undercooked, we never reorder things we hate to be those people but we did and the pancakes came out the same the second time around. Overall, the food did come out on the colder side of warm. I really hope this review is taken as constructive criticism. The kiddos enjoyed their smoothies. Our bill was close to $200 for 6 of us 2 of those kids, and gratuity was included which we typically enjoy of tipping depending on service. read more
