Cool thing about this spot is that its only a few blocks down from out hotel. So, if you need some alco beverages and such. This is probably one of the places to go around here. The place is really nice and organized. Shelves were stocked with plenty of liqour and beer and wine and all sorts of good stuff. The setting is well lit. Everything is pretty easy to find. The guy at the counter was really nice. I had a positive experience purchasing my booze here. So did my colleagues. Thank you so much for reading my review. I hope this helps with your decision making experience. Enjoy your awesome yelptastic day!!

A cozy, dive bar in local Montana! This is most definitely the local watering hole and it immediately gives you a homey feeling as soon as you step in the door. Don't come in with high expectations because the ambiance is all that matters to have a good time at this bar! Come on a Tuesday evening to enjoy the $10 5 card bingo with cash/drink prizes!! For dinner I got the pork chop sandwich and the hubs got the chicken sandwich. Both had very thin breading and not much flavor. Again, not the greatest-but the ambiance makes up for it!

There's a steady flow of people in and out.. mostly women but a few couples. Nice areas for lounging with a group or just sitting and chatting quietly with a friend. We were going to just pop in for one drink but then our daughter's boyfriend joined us after work and we stuck around for trivia. Bartender was very skilled and everybody was friendly. Spacious couches and lounge areas mixed with bar seating and smaller high top tables makes this a great spot for groups big or small. Can't imagine any circumstance where a party wouldn't feel welcome here or appreciate the layout. Service was great - all the bartenders dress "on brand" and able to make suggestions while ensuring our drinks stayed as full as we wanted them too (but also totally good with us just being low key) Pro tip: They allegedly have the best grilled cheese and tomato soup in Bozeman, so guess I'll have to go back for that. One downside? They need to change their name! I can NEVER remember it and neither can my friends. Makes it less memorable in a spot that would otherwise be high on the list!

When we came in at around 4pm, there seemed to be plenty of tables available but after an hour, the place quickly filled up. Vibes/Service: Parking lot in the back and it seemed there was some street parking available as well. Many, many tables available with bar seating as well. It can certainly fit a larger group. Great service from our server. Checked on us often and filled up our waters. Food: Because it was our first meal here, we wanted to try out their staple dishes. -Bison Potstickers ($16): 5 pieces topped with mango and garlic chili sauce and served with some coleslaw. Rich and filling, paired well with the sauce. Would order this again! -Bison Patty Melt ($22): it was my first time eating Bison, the waiter suggested medium rare. It looked more red than I usually like but it actually was juicy and tasty-- I guess this is the difference between a regular beef patty. I'd also order this again. -Served with pepper parmesan fries which was so uniquely food. Fries were fresh. -Huckleberry Cream Ale ($8/pint) paired well with my meal.

My server knew the special menu, regular menu and drinks very well. I ordered the bison patty melt and tots for the meal and the Bridger Hazy IPA for the drink. The bartender recommended the IPA and it was excellent. The homemade tots were great. A shredded potato in the middle, nice and creamy and crunchy exterior. Feedback was there were only 5 on the plate. Definitely could use more. The bison patty met was perfectly cooked. A lot of folks overcook and dry out the bison. It was perfectly medium and juicy. Feedback would be a little char on the patty would be great. The service really tailed off in the end, it was not super busy and they had about 5 servers behind the bar. I sat there for at least 15 min until another bar tender asked if I wanted another brew and my server came about 5 to 10 later to attend to things.

He sat at the bar since we were only going to get some appetizers and drinks. I really did love the decor. It was gothy but overwhelming. I did like that they had some non-alcoholic options. However, the most appealing one had strawberries in it, and they were out of them. They were also out of the tacos, which was a little surprising since we got there an hour after they opened. We ended up having the nachos and the oysters. The oysters were good. The nachos were OK. The drinks were also very underwhelming. My son had a Paloma and I have tasted way way better. Service was good. Everyone was friendly and answered all of our questions. This is a really cool place to come and hang out with some friends, but it's more about the atmosphere than it is really the food and drinks.

The Devil's Toboggan EXCEEDED our expectations. We found this "randomly" and decided to go because of the prohibition vibes. The second you walk into the Toboggan, you step back in time. We were immediately greeted and sat at the bar. We ordered an old fashion and Huckleberry Lemon Drop (recommend both). Honestly, I don't think it matters what you order...it's going to be good. Let's talk about the customer service. A+ ladies and gents! We ended up having a great conversation with the bar back and other patrons which topped off the experience. P.S. if you like deviled eggs, get them. They are delicious, especially if they still have the ones with the sausage. #drool

The Fungi Pizza: This is our usual go-to, but the dine-in version was totally off. For takeout, they pack the greens separately so you can control the heavy lime flavor, and they include a cream of mushroom sauce that makes it incredibly creamy. In the restaurant, they forgot the cream sauce entirely and piled the greens on top with so much lime it tasted like biting into lemons. We tried adding salt and pepper to cut the intense acidity, but it didn't help at all. The Japan Chicken: On the plus side, the Japan Chicken was excellent--incredibly juicy and crispy. This dish is actually much better when you dine in. When we get it for takeout, it loses its crunch and ends up feeling like a basic chicken nugget. Definitely order this one fresh at the table.
