Ok, let me start by saying I NEVER write reviews... But, I feel the need to go out of my way to praise CatFish in Willowbrook! On Monday, 9/21, I got the gyro cheeseburger. It was fantastic, to say the least. Now, today... Thursday, September 24, 2020. I got.... the Chicken Philly.... its truly hard for me to put into words how awesome that sammich was... I'm going to have dreams about that chicken philly! I would marry that chicken philly if it were socially acceptable! I should mention that both times I ordered, I also got a pizza puff that was out of this world! I WILL eat there multiple times a week and try different things because the menu is deep and has a little bit of everything, but there will ALWAYS be a special place in my heart for the chicken philly. Thanks Omar, big difference from a year ago...gizzards were a little over cooked but I asked for them fried hard so that was my fault ‍ lol, but other than that all was good. I will try the new owners again...as of 5/7/25 I will be back...again this year lol. Good luck . read more

Horrible This is the 2nd time they have messed up our order... they disregard the requests for sauces, even when extra sauce was ordered and paid for. When calling they have a HORRIBLE attitude and say oh we're busy sorry. Like we are customers trying to support y'all business. A whole meal was missing and replaced with whatever they wanted to send in. Did they try to replace it or offer any care. NO We will not be ordering from them here at work EVER again . I heard they now have a new management so i decided to give them a try. We ordered two sandwiches which were the phillysteak and the fries sandwich which is a sandwich we used to eat back in syria. Both of them were soo good and the phillysteak sandwich had a lot of meat in it. The fries sandwich tasted exactly like the one i used to eat back home. Their food is Halal, tastes fresh and clean. Me and my family order from here for the second time, we had 2 shrimp basket and 1 jumbo shrimp. I found hair in my jumbo shrimp, so I called and told them I found hair on the food... I found it after I ate most of it!! They told me to come in with the food and bring the recipient, which I had No problem with, but I lived 15 minutes away and it was 10:30 at night!! Catfish is one of my favorite foods. I'm very picky about it so I was pleasantly surprised when I got my dinner. My husband ordered the perch, it was also very good. For our taste the fries were under cooked but I know a lot of people prefer them that way. Along with the fish we split a Greek Salad or at least that is what they called it. Never had one with no olives or any type of dressing. Normally cucumbers are also part of a Greek salad but there were none or any bell or banana peppers. Far as I know it also has red onions not white. Needless to say it was no more than lettuce, feta and tomatoes don't forget no dressing. There was a shaker on the counter and I was not sure what was in it. When I asked whom I believe was the owner he told me lemon pepper. Then I asked him if I could get a small cup to go, he told me no. Just put what you want on your dinner before you leave, HUH!!! What if I did not like it, oh well I guess. The girl behind the counter was kind enough to do so for me. Lastly the place is close to filthy. My shoes stuck to the floor, the windows and old desert counter glass was disgusting and the fans connected to the coolers and air vents were gross. We recommend that you take your food to go. Because of the lack of cleanliness and owners attitude I give 2.5 stars. read more

This is probably the worst way I've seen someone run a business. I ordered through the yelp app (and I've attached my order) but when I came in for pickup they tell me that they won't be giving me the drink or the cups of cheese because they're menu is different than who I ordered it through. I asked for a refund on the drink and cheese and they refused, saying that I will have to go through yelp. Because apparently it doesn't come with those things or those costs when I order through them. They also got my order wrong for the hot dog when I asked for plain, they put everything on it. After an argument with the cashier/cook, because he's both? He finally decided to give me a cup of cheese because apparently he didn't want to deal with me and when I asked for the coke he also refused. If this is the case, please update your prices on second party websites rather than refusing an items that I've already paid for! read more

Warning! If you order the Gym Shoe Crispy, it is large enough for two. It is SOOO GOOD! Inside there is Gyro meat, sliced Philli Beef, Corn Beef, cooked peppers, Mozzarella Cheese wrapped in a HUGE burrito then deep fried. Comes with lettuce and tomatoes and fries. It is served in a large tin foil roasting pan. The pan tells you the size of this gourmet feast. My wife had the Phillies Cheese Crunch. That also was excellent. Our second trip here and we have not sampled all that Catfish and Chicken, Willowbrook has to offer. Fries are real good too! Highly Recommend. read more

Don't listen to all these 1 star reviews they have no idea what they are talking about. I made a yelp account just for this. This place has the BEST CATFISH EVER the management is very well besides the fact that the employees are foreign so there might be some people getting mad about miscommunication but the several times I've ordered here was seriously great. He asked to put on lemon pepper for me and asked me if I wanted any hot sauce and just simple gestures like that makes a difference in my opinion. If feels more personal yknow. The portions are HUGE so be prepared to have Little Cesar's amazing prices but still have really good quality AND quantity. Best fish I've ever had 110% recommend. read more

Booo! CatTricks..WetFish...SlimeFish...RockFish. That's what's being sold. I have aten here 4 times & been satisfied a total of 1.5 times. The first time the fish was on point but I could have needed dental surgery after biting into the jumbo shrimp that hard enough to have been cooked 5 times over. I went back for fish again. This time I received what looked like it was okay on the outside but consisted of an overly greasy sunny side up egg white consistency in the middle. I had them drop some of the fish again but wound up putting it in the oven to cook it thoroughly when I got home. My daughter ordered again one day & brought home a pan of good thouroughly cooked fish, so I figured the gooey fish was a bad day. WROOONG! I ordered & received the same SLOP again. I asked the to cook it more & was told if they cook it again, it will fall apart. I received a casual "make sure you ordered it fried hard the NEXT time." Now that is the funny part. These people actually think that there is a NEXT TIME with a 2 time unhappy customer who pays for cooked food only to have to cook it myself when I get home. Tuh! I will NEVER WIILN'T EVERRRRR go back to this place. Folks who know how to cook fish don't need to be told how to cook fish. I sure didn't have to tell you to fry those fukn shrimp harder than any shrimp has ever been fried before. Just keep wastin my money & not getting any customer service or satisfaction is a joke. The guy that served me was the kind of nice where you walk away like, "Huh, I guess there still are nice people like that in the world." The food was pretty much what you'd expect. The slaw was good. The fries were okay and plentiful. Slice of white bread included, never really understood that, to soak up excess oil maybe? The jumbo shrimp were not bad but they weren't great. Even deep fried it is possible to have a "lighter" end product. The batter was subpar and a little too oily but edible. But I'd go back to try another item just because of how nice the young man who served me was. And I think there are probably better items on their menu. Can't really pan their food when I have only tried one of the items on their relatively large menu, especially because there was a lot of stuff that was not deep fried. read more

Willowbrook / Burr Ridge area finally put itself on the map for fried fish & chicken with Catfish. I will travel anywhere for serious fried chicken and this place knocked it out of the park with their wings, thighs and breasts. From the guys up front welcoming me into the restaurant, to having the owners catch me on the way out to make sure everything was spot on perfect. Wow what a great little place. The food is great. The wings are not a bit greasy and are loaded with flavor of lemon pepper. The gyros are giant and their Cole slaw is always fresh. Some times the orders do take a little time but if you're not in a hurry it is worth the wait read more

I work in the area. I call it Shrimp & Wings because that's only thing I keep getting! Not to say their other items aren't good it's just my preference definitely want to try the catfish and chicken one day. The shrimp has the perfect amount breading and blend of seasoning (lemon pepper i think) and the mild sauce they make for their wings is so good I may ask if I can buy a bottle. Slightly spicy so it doesn't overpower the flavor and I'm not dying after the first wing but by the time I finish the plate lips just a bit numb lol. My coworker had the catfish and says it's pretty good. The fries are good too. Definitely recommend this place though they only have a few seats mainly a takeout place. read more

This was our first time here, we ordered the jumbo shrimp and chicken wings. Both came with fries. The breading/batter on both the fish and wings was very light, not heavy which I like. Everything was made to order. The french fries were hot and done just right. The cole slaw was also very good. Everything is fresh, simple, but tasty. We will be going back for sure. read more

Disgusting place. Greasy sweaty guy kept wiping his forehead with his hand while preparing food. Dirty place, food was terrible, gyro was first burnt on rotisserie, then thick chunks hacked off and put on flat top grill, ridiculous bad gyro w soggy somehow chewy fries, and canned soda!
