Trash... I was extremely disappointed the potato salad was HORRIBLE the crab cake sandwich was tasteless and the po boy was the worst I ever had! This is my go to place for steamed crabs! They always have them available. They're not the cheapest but the quality they provide makes it worth the extra money. They also offer a wide variety of sandwiches, subs, and platters. I think it's carry out only here. It's a great little neighborhood gem. You can file this away under "hidden gem" and thank everyone who recommended it on Yelp. I cannot believe that it's so fresh and tasty, and located in some random place by a trailer park. From the outside it looks like the tackiest little hole-in-the-wall...and the inside isn't any different. Tiny tables, employees in tye-dye...but the food. OMG the food. It's quick seafood at its finest. You can't go wrong here, especially if it's the crabcake sandwich or crab cheesesteak. Yeah, a cheesesteak with everything except the steak. So, cheesecrab? Whatever you want to call it, that's reason enough to come here. The hush puppies are also really tasty, and so were the chicken tenders with fries. Large portions, fresh food, and wonderful employees. They don't have a restroom, so bring wipes or get it to go. It's just consistently delicious seafood in a laid-back environment. We love this place! The food is always great, although the last time we ordered (Feb 8) the portions seemed slightly smaller....maybe just that day or maybe I was imagining things. Either way, still plenty of food for the price. The crab cakes are my family's favorite-- I don't know what witchcraft they use to make them because there's like NO filler in them. Just tons of crabby goodness. All the sides are good too, but the corn nuggets are the best, in my opinion. I miss eating inside the building, but they've done a good job with the walk-up window during Covid. The people are always friendly and service is usually pretty quick. Highly recommend! read more

Bread to crabmeat ratio 10 Toppings 8 (only because it was simple options lettuce,tomato,onion,mayo) It was a definitely a surprise to find during COVID 19. Good customer service food delivered to the car once you paid at the window. We also order 6 fried shrimp for $15 worth every single cent. Yummy crab cakes. Just the right amount of filler (very little, just enough to hold the cake together) and the perfect touch of Old Bay. Onion rings were our favorite side and were very good. I came here a few months ago because my cousin who lives in that area wanted to take me to her favorite location to get crabs. The location is clean, the staff are welcoming. The place is definitely kid friendly, staff was happy to help with seating for the 2 little munchkins. There are signs inside the restaurant that showcase some of their specials. Let me just get to the meat and potatoes of this review---I LOVED THE CRAB CHOICES HERE!! The best crab cakes that are nothing but beautiful hunks of crab meat held together by what, I don't know, but it holds them together tightly and lightly. Crab balls are everything. Lovely! We all sampled each others food and not one person was disappointed with their order. The item with the strangest name, to me, was the crabmeat cheesesteak. I took a couple of bites of that from my cousin and nearly fell in love. I've never had a sandwich quite like that with crabmeat but it was tasty treat. The flounder was soft and delicious. Perfectly fried and the breading was light. Casey's Crab also sells crab and other seafood from this location. There is also catering available year round. Although I would enjoy attempting to capture with words the best fried jumbo shrimp I have ever had, perfectly seasoned, crispy on the outside and steaming with flavor on the inside, the photo below undoubtedly provides more convincing testimony. Practically, the only down side is there is limited seating (two tables that seat four and one that seats two), but, for a meal worthy of a small gathering or a date, there is no seafood that is better. read more

OMG!! Where do I even begin. I found this spot on yelp and selected it as the first stop to celebrate my moms 75th birthday!! She loves seafood and I thought let's try it. The spot is sssooo cute. There were 8 of us and we were alllll impressed with the vast selection of seafood on the menu. The employees there were ssssoooo nice to us and helpful. The food was sssoooo much better than what we had expected. The seafood wasn't greasy, nicely season and you could taste the seafood. The crab cakes were full of crab meat and not fillers. The oysters were juicy, scallops plump, crab cheesestake was bomb!! We basically ordered everything off the menu. We just tried this place for the first time. We bought two containers of their Cream of Crab soup which is only available on Fridays. I was so hoping it would be good however it was just the worst Cream of Crab soup we have ever had. The flavor was just totally missing, not lump Crab although it did have Crab in it, all we could taste was raw flour. I am so sorry to have to say this but it was totally awful. So disappointed, guess we have to keep driving to Shoreline in Gambrills for wonderful cream of crab soup. There are other places that have great Cream of Crab also but Casey's is not one of them. Stopped by for a quick to-go lunch and had to try the hush puppies and crab cheesesteak. A bit off the beaten path, but if you are near the airport it isn't too far of a drive. If you are a crab lover and need to get your fix while in Baltimore, this is the place to go and the crab cheesesteak is the meal to order. I never find anything like this back in the Mountain West so get it while you can! The sandwich is stuffed with crab and minimal fillers, which was a huge plus. Some people seem to have misunderstood that there is no meat/steak in this sandwich so fair warning it is only crab, cheese, and veggies. It's been almost 2 months since I've had some Maryland blue crabs. My go to spot is closed for the season. One of my coworkers raves about this place so I decided to give them a try. I called my order in for a dozen of large female crabs. When I get there, the staff were very friendly and inviting which made the atmosphere great. My order was ready in about 5 minutes. However, they had shrimp on sale so I decided to buy those as well. I was not impressed with the shrimp BUT the crabs were amazing, a nice size, well seasoned and juicy. I'll definitely be back for the crabs. This place seems to be run by a Christian owner. There were signs about Jesus and repentance. Always great to support a believer. read more

Go get takeout at Casey's Crab!!! We ordered a half-dozen crabs and a soft-shell crab po-boy with a few sides. By the time we got home, our mouths were watering from all the smells coming from the bag. The crabs were perfectly steamed and seasoned, and full of sweet, tasty meat. Make sure you have your own hammer and nutcrackers, but Casey's will provide the brown paper and moist towelettes. The soft-shell crab po-boy was perfectly cooked, not breaded beyond recognition (which, to me, is a sign of a bad restaurant), so you can taste the sweetness of the crab and all the crunch comes from the shell, not the breading. The bread was fluffy and nicely balanced with a little tomato and lettuce. The softshell crab po-boy is not always available, so if you see it on the menu, order it immediately - that's what I'm gonna do every time I visit. I thought this was a restaurant but it's more of a truck stop which is fine. I understand COVID has made everything very difficult for the restaurant industry however if you're charging almost $20 for a sandwich you should probably allow patrons to use the restroom. I am vaccinated and would've gladly worn a mask or shown my vaccine card. Not to mention none of your staff were wearing masks so if your claiming it's for COVID safety that seems a little hypocritical. Love this amazing little spot and we are so glad that we found it! The small feel of Casey's Crab is charming and everyone was very friendly. We ate in, but due to the heat (hello DMV heatwave) we would probably get takeout next time. It is so popular that the doors were constantly opening and it was hard to stay cool while eating in. I love mine with provolone cheese instead of the usual American cheese that comes on it. While the food is good, there isn't much room to stay and eat. I've been going to Casey's for crabs for years. The crabs are cooked to order. So be ready to wait a few minutes. However, don't get too comfortable because even when they're busy it doesn't take too long. The crabs are well-seasoned with old bay and, since they are cooked to order, they're hot when you get them. They also serve other stuff like lobster (from the tank) and shrimp (ours were frozen when we ordered them several years ago) and platters. Back to the shrimp for a second: that was disappointing but it wasn't for me and I really only go for crabs. So I'm ok giving them 5 stars.
