Food is just miserable here now. I must stop trying to eat the food here. Even the vaunted cheesesteak took a hit last night. The first half of the sandwich was clean, but the second half contained many fatty pieces of steak that were frankly gross and unacceptable. It also prices this is isn't thin sliced ribeye. As a diehard Packers fan this is the premier Packers bar in the Valley. From playing Todd Rundgrens Bang the Drum All Day after each TD to playing "The Bears Still Suck" at halftime, it's as close as you'll get to Lambeau in the desert. Get there early on game days though because the place is known to get to capacity at least an hour before kickoff. An excellent WI themed game day menu with all the classics. The cheese curds are by far the best I've had in the valley. On non Packer game days this was our regular spot to go to when we used to live nearby. So even if you're not a Packer fan you will fit right in as It has the chill neighborhood bar vibe with excellent food and drink specials. The wings are also some of the best. Stumbled upon this place after walking out of the Cornish pasty company due to no service. Came in annoyed and even more annoyed when a waitress wanted to sit us next to young children running amok. While visiting Arizona for the weekend, I came across this Packer Bar on google. Being a Packer fan , I had to check it out. The place is pretty big, plenty of tables and also a bar area (of course). I can't remember my waitress' name but she was very nice. I tried a couple of things on the menu and I was very happy with my food. It was fun watching the game there even tho I was alone. My wife and I decided we wanted to watch the superbowl here. Got in a little early. We were greeted and ordered 2 cups or French onion soup and 2 amfs. The server let us know we would get a new waitress shortly because of shift change. No worries because we completely understand. Our plan was to pace ourselves. Our new waitress arrived wearing a sweater vest, dark glasses, and shoulder length hair. She came to the table very often. I ordered pretzels as an appetizer and immediately the waitress went to remove our menus. I ordered a green tea for myself, she didn't even look at my wife and ran away. My wife wanted a different kind of shot. We felt it was a bit rude. Then as soon as we took our last bite of pretzel our waitress came to bus our plates and everything. We felt unwanted. We just paid and went somewhere else. The receipt says our waitress was Tracy P. The food is fantastic here and the prices are great. We will go back but I hope not to deal with this waitress again. How great of an experience. I needed a snack to hold me over before a later dinner after arriving to Phoenix and was offered to go to Casey Jones. I was excited to dine inside for a change! Upon entering we were cordially greeted and offered to sit anywhere that was open. My friend and I elected to sit at one of the booths. First thing that caught my attention was the addition of very high plastic dividers between the booths. There were some tables but judging from how far they were spaced out I can imagine that prior to our pandemic this place was packed. As it was there social distancing game was strong. Staff wore gloves and masks the entire time and frequently checked on us. I ordered the funditos and was very impressed! They were slightly spicy, cheesy, and super delicious! The drinks were among the best of my trip - smooth and lovely with a subtle kick that made me instantly relaxed. The atmosphere was great. Everyone was obviously relaxed and many regulars were coming in judging by the wait staff's familiarity with them. All the different televisions were captivating and made me long for football. I am sure this place is absolutely awesome during football season or any major sport. I really enjoyed my time here! read more

We ordered the Thai chicken skewers, spicy pulled pork tostada, and cheese curds. We were expecting small, bar sized portions. Well, we were pleasantly surprised to be served generous portions of delicious food. The Thai chicken skewers atop a fabulous Asian slaw salad was amazing! So good! Excellent prime rib, best the husband I have had. Very well seasoned, lovely rosemary flavor too. 10oz portion, comes with salad, baked potato, garlic toast, au jus and horseradish sauce. For anyone who hasn't been here in a while and you're wondering if they are as good as they were 20 years ago: they're better. I grew up going here with my parents for games and fun. I always liked the food and the service was great. When I was older, a freind of mine worked here and always had good things to say. I moved away for several years and although I've been back for a few now, I hadn't made it back to Casey Jones. Last night, my husband found them on Yelp and we ended up getting wings, cheese curds and fish fry to go. Everything was really good! Plenty of sauce choices, I got honey hot and golden honey. The service was good but the food was lacking greatly! I ordered the wild rice salad, which did not have a piece of wild rice in it. It had white rice on the bottom, hidden underneath a ton of lettuce.. honestly, I can't believe it had no wild rice in it and they tried to pull that one off on us. My friend got the Philly cheesesteak, which had no cheese on it. If I hadn't eaten here before, I probably would give it a one star. We live pretty close to this place but have only started going here recently. I have yet to come here when there's a Packers game on but I bet it's a pretty hopping place during those games. We have always gotten decent service here and have yet to have a bad dish. I like the mini fundito appetizer a lot and have also enjoyed their cheese steaks, pizza, burgers, etc. Nothing has really stood out as amazing, best I've ever had food, but nothing here is bad either. It's a cool place to come grab a bite to eat and if you like trains, they have a bunch of toy train tracks up by the ceiling for your entertainment. If you don't like trains, there always seems to be a game on one of the tv's. read more

We've been here a few times and everything was always fine. Tonight we went and had dinner... we definitely got food poisoning!! We've both been vomiting and having diarrhea since dinner. I haven't projectile vomited like this since I was a kid! Awful. We shared the poutine appetizer- he had a cheeseburger, I had the fish and Chips. We both had a side salad rather than fries. SOMETHING is rotten here, because we were both perfectly fine until immediately after dinner and now we've been ill all night. It's starting to get better now that it has all been evacuated. The only thing we shared was the poutine, and we both ate a salad. It was likely one of those things. They seemed very short staffed and maybe cleanliness or kitchen protocols are falling behind? Apparently the management at Casey Jones us unaware there is a pandemic and have failed to adhere to CDC & state guidelines on how they should be operating. The bar was full with all of the bar stools next to each other. It appeared as the bar top had not been cleaned after the prior customer. Same old menus and list of beverages- not cleaned after use. Bartender with no mask. Condiment bottles same as usual - no single use or in a cup. Just handed the bottle over to the customer. Apparently no social distancing is required. We were sitting at the bar when 2 people just walked up and sat right Nexxt to us.... no consideration for 6' distance or to social distance. So disappointing. We used to go there 2-3 times a month..... probably no more. I was concerned about the safety of the food, plates, utensils and chairs. Tempted to contact the county health to have them give them an inspection. Shame on you. Anyone that might have concerns about sanitation, I would steer clear of this place. A shame that you feel your bottom line is more important than patrons safety. read more

I'd you're in the mood for excellent fish and chips this is the place! I'd put their fish and chips high on my list of best of the best, yes that good! I also had the wings. Very crispy and tried their dry lemon and pepper rub with the other half mild Buffalo. The lemon pepper were excellent. The buffalo was a little to vinegary for my liking but still good and hot. Staff was friendly and we can't wait to come back to try other menu items. read more
