Came on a Saturday afternoon before another event we had to get to, a decent amount of people but our service was still great! Lovedddd the nachos it was so flavorful and had a good amount of meat! My husband's fish sticks were delish and loved the coleslaw (tastes like the Raising Canes one if you like that!) my jalepeno cheesesteak however...I didn't like it first bite I was excited so I thought okay let's get into it! To my dismay it actually wasn't very good. It was givingggg ground beef?? Maybe I shoulda tried something else. Interesting spot tho!

Beer is good. My 1st time here. I love how chill it is.

Red beer with bloody Mary mix. Looks slow but likely is busy on the weekends or after work. Lots of TVs and good music.

Tonight we visited Casey Jones Grill for the first time and overall it was average. A Green Bay Packers themed sports bar that is really in need of an overhaul inside. I tried the "specialty" cheesesteak and maybe it's on purpose (because the hate the Eagles) but it wasn't close to what you get on a true Philadelphia cheesesteak. The $1.99 upgrade to onion rings was a mistake because they tasted like they were right out of the freezer. The pork tenderloin sandwich my wife ordered was OK and the sweet potato fries were good. The sandwich had shredded lettuce (probably the same they use in salads) and all it did was fall off the sandwich. The highlight was our awesome server! Unless they get a refresh I cannot recommend. Oh, the cheese curd app was very good and authentic. David B "FIMP" food is my passion

Worst excuse for French Onion Soup.

Used to be pretty good but always forget things on to go orders. Worst French Onion Soup I've ever paid for. No onions, no broth or cheese and nasty repurposed Au- jus Won't be back.

Happy anniversary weekend Cinco de drinko!

The attractive (just saying) staff is super attentive and professional. The management is superchill with a copacetic vibe that resounds throughout this multifaceted establishment. It's got 4 separate venues contained within the friendly confines. Now to the food: Everything we had was delicious down to the fruit bowl Carvin Jones had and hot cocoa I had for dessert . Everything at the Driftwood's Sports Grill is five star. Everything is made in house: Including the best ranch dressing we have ever tasted. You owe it to yourself to try Driftwood's Sports Grill.

Just jumbo screen/ audio of cartoons we must've been pestering our poor waitress, but there was just no solid "sorry, we can't get the game on" so we just sat there too long to the point where it would be inconvenient to leave after already ordering food lol. Took a while to get our food and drinks, especially refill on the chips. Didn't seem to busy, but was a smaller staff so maybe that was the cause. The queso and Korean street corn were tasty with the chips. Good fish and chips and a standard caesar salad. The cocktails with lime were sooooo tart and sour would maybe just stick to the draft beers. Anyways, interesting experience to say the least, meh.

I checked out Cornish Pasty with two friends visiting town from San Antonio on a Friday evening for…read moredinner. With several locations in Phoenix, this one was closest so we made our way and didn't have any trouble parking in their complimentary lot. Ambiance (5/5): I loved the vibe. Think of it as a pub with a lot of character. There's wallpaper on the walls which you don't expect at an English pub. But it works. There's seating at the bar, high tops, and tables/booths. They also have two pool tables. Cool decor abounds, including some cool pictures a flag of the area in England where pasties were invented. Service (4.5/5): While they weren't packed while we were there, there were a good number of people hanging out. Our waiter did a good job of taking care of us. He checked in with us regularly and closed us out efficiently when we were ready to make a move. He also repeated our orders to make sure they were right, which is always a nice touch. Drinks (4.5/5): While they have a full bar, when I'm at a pub, I'm thinking about beer. They have a good beer list consisting of both European beers and craft brews. I went with a Bavik pils. Their beers are reasonably priced too, which is always a big plus in my book. Given that they're a pub, I wish they had a larger menu, but outside of that, exactly what I was looking for. Food (4.5/5): If you're like me, you probably have never had a pasty. Or heard of them. If that's the case, you're in for a treat. Think of pasties as essentially British empanadas. They were invented in England and the menu gives you a nice history of how they came about. Most of the menu consists of these delectable pies. You have 30 or so of them to choose from (including vegetarian options). Outside of that, you have some appetizers and desserts for the most part. I went with the meat and cheese pasty which has sausage, beef, and cheese and is served with your choice of one of three dipping sauces. I went with the red wine gravy which was the perfect compliment to the pasty. The pasties were baked just right, flavorful, and a unique experience. They're a little pricey for the portion size, but still pretty filling. If you're feeling more adventurous, they have non-traditional pasties too like the Cubano, Tikka Masala, etc. They even have a dessert pasty with apples and cinnamon which is served a la mode with ice cream. I preferred the savory option as the pasty was a tad overcooked. But overall, an awesome meal. Cornish Pasty, I'll definitely be back. Stay pasty, my friends.

In lay man's terms, it's effectively a giant hot pocket but the filling is ultra rich, savory and filling. I tried the og - which historically is beef, potatoes and root vegetables and it was definitely thick and filling - the red wine gravy is a must on it as it's a little dry otherwise. My wife tried the Guinness stew one and that was the winner in my book - umami rich, ultra savory tender beef stew with good vegetal notes. They have tons of other combinations that looked interesting - bangers and mash and shepherds pie to name a few. This place screams British pub and glad I got to try some of this piece of history!
