My aunt, grandma and I have been coming here for YEARS. I usually get fries and beer, love it super chill place and people! Today we decided to go, I am a type one diabetic and was having low blood sugar and I asked the hostess after she sat us - (has very vibrant red hair and glass, I couldn't get her name) - if I could get a Coke real quick and she said "yeah! You're server should be here soon" or something along those lines and I frantically told her I kind of need it now because I'm having low blood sugar and need sugar, and she immediately said yes and went straight to the soda fountain and got me a coke and made sure I was okay and if I needed anything else, I couldn't say thank you enough! She really helped! she was so nice! And Understanding! And as I was leaving I again told her, thank you so much! I really hope management sees this! read more

Came in with a group of 9..... was rushed through the meal as we had a 9 year old with us ... service was ok... but kept being told we had to hurry and eat to be out at 10... This place is great if you're a Packer fan! We love coming here on the weekends for the games. It's a great atmosphere and they often will do drawings for different Packer items. I won an official Rodgers Nike jersey! Being away from Wisconsin for game days was a tough pill to swallow but this place makes me feel like I'm back home! Get here early though, it gets extremely busy on game days! They also have a HUGE menu and the food has always been great. They do have a smaller menu for game days but there are still plenty of options to choose from. The drink specials are also really great, $2.75 domestic bottles so you can't go wrong. Just flew into town and needed to refuel the family so we decided on Casey Jones Grill for some comfort food. This is the traditional sports bar and grill with a commitment to the Packers. The menu offered each of us something that we loved and each meal was prepared well. We ordered 24 wings in four different flavors and some hummus and veggies to start. Our meals consisted of the french dip, club sandwich, Philly cheesesteak sandwich and the fish and chips. We also ordered a pizza to take back and eat later in the evening. Why is this my first time reviewing this place? Beats me, I've been coming for YEARS. It's my go to, relaxation nation, place to celebrate, place to party, place to eat, etc etc etc. It's the place to be. First timers; try the Philly cheese steaks, cheese curds that are imported, the chicken wraps, chicken skewers, wings, buffalo wrap. We came in on Sunday around noon with a party of 16. I was blown away by the excellent service for a group our size. Drinks were kept filled, food orders came out at the same time, and the multiple checks seemed to go very smoothly. The wait staff was efficient and very pleasant. What more do I need to say to all the cheeseheads out there. It is a Packer bar in the middle of Phoenix. Food was good and watching the Pack beat the Giants in the snow with at least 200 other Packer fans was a great way to spend a Sunday afternoon. I had a brat with sauerkraut and baked beans. My wife and daughter both had the veggie burger and thought they were tasty. It isn't gourmet food but it rivals any bar in Wisconsin. Service was excellent. I even had a waitress come out and tell me how to park my car so it wouldn't get hit after the game. I have never received that kind of service in a New York or Chicago restaurant. Hope to watch the Pack win their 5th SB in a couple months at Casey Jones. read more

I love LOVE LOVE this place. Simply wish I could get here more often. Dave and Jackie run a top shelf operation serving better food than one would anticipate from a quick glance. The menu is extensive and Armando who runs the kitchen rarely makes a misstep. From lunch specials to Happy Hours, they have it all; and the week-end dinner specials are pretty epic. The extensive menu is always a hit with the regulars; I'm a cheese curd fan; great Friday fish specials, and awesome burgers (patty melt a fav for me). Fay and Sam have been fixtures there for years and provide excellent service with a smile (and pre-pandemic) hugs for all the regulars. Truly a Wisconsinite hangout, opening early for all Badger games, as well as NFL games - I highly recommend the breakfast burrito with a Bloody Mary or two. Kitchen generally open until midnight; bar until 2 AM. On my recent visits I have noticed great attention to sanitation with the bar, as well as all tables and booths, being wiped down between uses; and servers masked and gloved (hope the pandemic ends soon as Fay, Sam, and Desiree are eye-candy for this old guy!). I also note that there are QR code cards on the bar, as well as tables and booths, so that one can simply scan the code on their phone and the menu pops-up on one's screen. (Hi-tech stuff for us midwesterners!) For those who are concerned with issues of social distancing at the bar; I assume it is difficult to control when parties want to sit with each other and thus move barstools. I have seen the barstools paired in twos; six or more feet apart; but patrons move them. Such is life. If this concerns one, my suggestion - sit in a booth or table where this issue is not a problem. This is a difficult time trying to survive in the hospitality business; I appreciate the fact that Casey Jones is open again, creating jobs, and contributing to the economy. read more

I have visited Casey Jones many times. There food is typical of bar food. As good as it gets. However they have raised there prices on bar drinks. So much so that it would be much cheaper to stay home and order in pizza and wings with a bottle of store brought liquor. We were happy when we noticed it was happy hour all day on Sunday's. But there well drinks are $5:50 and beer $7:50. That is ridiculous pricing for happy hour!!! They used to be $3:50!! I know some places are having a hard time after Covid! But that is just out pricing yourselves. We will not return. read more

Casey Jones Grill is a decent local hangout here in North Phoenix. Touted as a Green Bay Packers bar it boasts a decent number of tv's throughout its roomy interior. The space is sort of divided into two areas: a main room with a large spacious bar and tables, and one off to the side with a couple of pool tables, booths and some high top tables. The whole place is a good gathering space whether you come with a group of friends or want to belly up to the bar. The food that I've sampled so far has been good. I'm a fan of the breaded chicken strips served with fries. Filling and hot. Hot wings are also a decent choice. It's good, basic Bar Food. There's of course your normally expected selection of alcoholic refreshment to choose from. This last visit I just stuck to bottles of Angry Orchard, but there were a few decent Tequila shots thrown into the mix a time or two at our gathering. The wait staff was attentive and friendly, which is always a good sign. It was pretty quiet each time I've visited, so I can't speak to how crazy it might get on Game Day. Let me just comment on walking in. I was not greeted or even acknowledged and i stood at the front for 20min wondering if we seat ourselves or not. You would think there was a sign, nope. The bartender finally asked me what i needed and thats when i found out we seat ourselves. I grabbed a menu and silverwear and tried to pick out of all the empty tables the 2 that were clean. You mean to tell me you have 3 customers and all your tables have not been clean off except for 2? Hmm. Its EXTREMELY dim inside, only light is from the window and a few in the ceiling, i can only imagine at night. The onion rings were pretty decent, nothing special just a normal onion ring. Tender onions for sure, but the ratio between onion and bread sucks. Your mostly just eating bread, i couldnt even taste the onion or see it to be honest on some. French fries. Terrible! I could not believe how gross and lifeless these were. French fries are not hard to do, really.. these were not even cripsy, just soggy and cold.. funny thing is the waitress set them down warning me they were "hot". These were not even luke warm. My onion rings were hotter than the fries and they came out before the fries? To be honest the fries tasted like they were microwaved, and that is such a big turn off. CJ's cheesesteak, the big boy here. The cheesesteak i was surprised at how good it was. The bread was soft and fresh. Meat was seasoned great and it had a nice flavor. I would get it again if i ever came back. I just wanna add in the ranch that they provide isnt the best and tasted REALLY watered down. I was upset because again, ranch is not a hard thing to do right. SERVICE. This is a big miss. The waitress was friendly but never checked on me and also failed to provide refills.. again the place only had 3 customers in the whole bar including seating area.. All in all, i will not be back. I didnt even finish my food hardly expect for the sandwhich and left to finish eating something at home. I was not impressed with this place. $12 for a cheesesteak is way to high for the quality. Maybe they are great for beer, or game day, but on a regular day this is not a place i would come to eat at. read more

The great thing about Casey Jones is that you don't have to be a barfly or sports fanatic to have a great time. While Casey Jones does offer the sports bar experience, it offers more than that too. In fact, the majority people come for the great food and fun atmosphere. Lots of appetizers are on the menu. My favorite is the loaded potato skins. My husband is a big chicken wing fan; he eats them until they're coming out his ears. There are lots of burgers and hot sandwiches too. I always order the Jalapeno Cheesesteak, thinly sliced beef, cooked with mushrooms, onions, peppers and jalapenos, and served with melted pepper jack cheese. I'm not much of a drinker, but I know they have a full bar serving both the usual stuff and also specialty drinks. They also have a huge variety of beer. Prices are a great value and always several food, drink, or happy hour specials. Casey Jones offers live music on special nights of the week. This place is fun, not too rowdy, but a great place to hang out with friends and have a tasty meal. I've been going to Casey Jones for pretty much my entire life. I'm 29yrs old. It's been a family favorite for as long as I can remember. The food is consistently great. They have the best wings hands down. I've never tried anything I didn't like on the menu. The employees are always friendly and the atmosphere is welcoming. Our 2 year old son loves going to see the trains. They will happily put whatever game you want on the tv near you. The patrons are friendly and it's easy to end up chatting with people sitting near you. Their specials are great and it seems there is always a special on something no matter what time of day you go.
