I loveee Cheba hut, it's hands down my favorite sandwich place. The garlic herb bread is what makes is so unique in my opinion, it's the best thing here. The sandwiches are all so delicious, my favorite is the Kali Mist and pricing is pretty reasonable. I love a good toasted sub, and this place was nice and clean and didn't have to wait long. I like that you can get a 4 inch "nug" if you need a light snack, or a pinner (8 inch) pretty filling.

Legit best sandwiches I've ever had! Today I had the Jamaica Red and my eyes rolled in the back of my head it was that good! I highly recommend their whole menu I've never had a bad day at Cheba :)

These sandwiches are so delicious. This place is such a vibe. I love the aesthetic. They have games. They also have a full bar which is great for my tendencies.

My first time at a Cheba Hut. Food was okay; split a roast beef sandwich. Lots of veggies, not much meat. The music was so loud and irritating, I could hardly wait to get out. Probably won't return.

Ate at this location today - a past time regular of the Tempe location. Love that they have a separate pick up window for to-go orders - smart move! Online ordering is super convenient. We went with the Thai Stick and the Dank. Two sandwiches (one 12 inch, one 8 inch) was $35 ish which I guess is expected these days. Things I liked: creative menu, fast service, lots of additional toppings. Things I didn't love: bread tasted and felt like it was baked 2-3 days ago, sandwiches were both pretty dry. Overall still a great pick for a lunch sandwich - would recommend!

We love Cheba Hut! The sandwiches are always delicious, which you can custom order and they have a fun spin on the names. It a lively, upbeat atmosphere

They give you this after you order at the counter.

Great toasted subs and a lot of different choices of both subs and chips. There's an actual bar on one side of the restaurant and they actually have a happy hour. The other side is booths. There is also a patio. The decor is interesting and not our thing as it heavily promotes marijuana and the music was loud and we could hear the people in the bar area shouting over it. Would probably do a to go order next time if we go again.

So glad Cheba Hut opened on this side of town! My first visit was to their Glendale location as it is close to work. Otherwise the closest one is in Tempe so this is much more convenient. I love how the rest of the shops in this area have white lettering for their signs but CH said nah, we're going with our signature green and orange. We came for their 420 celebrations where they were offering nugs for $4.20. It was pretty busy but there is a lot of seating, including the patio where we sat. We got their KGB, Jamaican red, and Kali mist (no bacon). I tried the KGB and it was fine, I'm just not a horseradish fan. The Jamaican red was delicious, wish it was spicier but it was flavorful. The Kali mist was tasty as well, even reheated the next day. Service was friendly and quick and I look forward to coming back! They have a rewards program too but I didn't get my points so I'm waiting to hear from them.

Dang these are the best subs! I'm sure that anything that is ordered is amazing. Don't forget to sneak a peek online at their secret stash aka secret menu. They were able to make me a T-Rex! And thank you for having Pepsi products in the soda fountain!!

When you get home and your order is incorrect for the 3rd time you review...no way to get ahold of them. Tried calling. Ordered Griefo with hummus AND cream cheese PLUS cheese...literally NONE of the three are on there! Dry bread & veggies and you call this a restaurant?! Ugh. So sad because the first time they were empty, took my order with the extras and it was perfect, overflowing and delish. Did give an extra star because the other sandwich in the order was correct but there were no modifications. Last time instead of wheat they gave me white. Before that it was a different sandwich all together!

I've been waiting patiently for this location, less than five miles from my house, to open and get itself sorted out. It was worth the wait! Normally I have to drive to downtown Phx to get my Cheba on. This location is going to crush my wallet! While my favorite item on the menu was removed during pandemic days (hummus sandwich - I forgot the old name), I can still get the same item by removing the guac from the Power Plant. I don't know what they do to them, but the combo of veggies, hummus and dressing hits my sandwich spot straight on! I think it's the pickles... I just always want them to put more hummus on since it's the "meat" for a vegan! They did a pretty good job with it this time, but I still wanted more of course. The new location is in a large strip mall area, so there's plenty of parking (unlike the downtown location). The space itself is a bit small. The line was to the door, and the bar area was pretty packed at 12:30 on a Friday. I'm glad they're starting off with great demand and hope they can keep up with it! The order took as long as expected - maybe five minutes - to be ready. It's what I typically expect at Chebas since they toast 'em. And - the most exciting part of my first visit to this location - while I was in line, the manager (I guess) came up and said "Five dollar Friday!" and gave us all $5 bills! He explained that he does this instead of stupid coupons, etc. It hit my head like a mallet - wow - actually rewarding the people who go to your place already - what a concept! I loved it! Needless to say, I'll be back.

Consistently solid and exactly what you want from the style. Service Laid-back and smooth. Everything feels dialed in without being overly formal, which fits the vibe perfectly. Ambience This is where they really separate themselves. Instead of the typical dim, sticker-covered, industrial brewery feel, this place is bright, clean, and curated. It honestly feels closer to a well-designed coffee shop, but built around great beer. Not a huge space, but comfortable enough to grab a pint and hang out without feeling cramped. Extras Huge bonus, they'll order Trevor's Liquor pizza for you and have it brought over. That alone makes it an easy stop. Overall I'm really glad this spot opened up nearby. It's perfect as a starting point for a night out. Grab a beer here, then head to dinner at one of the nearby spots. If you're into craft beer but want a cleaner, more elevated environment, this is a must-visit.

The food is usually excellent, and they have a very good wine list. Prices are in line with a nice restaurant in this part of town. Just hope everything's to your liking because they have no interest in fixing it. This bar also has live music on saturdays, trivia's and game nights. In fact, at every table, they have a deck of cards against humanity. At the entrance they also have a variety of other games like connect four, jenga and such. Lavender fog: great balance of lavender and earl grey tea! The foam is the best creamy touch to the drink. I feel in a relaxed daze when I have this drink. I think it's the most special one here. It was even featured on a magazine! Pour favor: I don't like mezcal but this was nice. The mango puree was prominent which I loved and was well complimented with sour and spice. This drink style is a little more commonly found in other bars too which is probably because it's popular! Indoor smoking: smoky, cool and well done twist in the old fashioned. They prepare it in such a cool way with the smoking process and the delivery is great. SMOOTH old fashion. It was alcohol forward but I didn't feel any burn that I normally get from any common old fashion. It also had the best citrus aftertaste The sunny slope sour: great if you love whiskey sour. I loved this drink the pear and peach made the whiskey taste less harsh. One of the better renditions of whiskey sours I've had My brightside. Bitter but works so well with watermelon! Refreshing, balanced and delicious. I typically don't love Negronis but I loved this rendition. The nanny: mezcal espresso martini that was also well done. You can also taste raspberry and chocolate every sip Mulled wine: hot wine with spices that I argue was better than the mulled wines I've had in Europe. All the spices and aromas were so complex yet cozy for a chilly night! The bartenders treat their regulars well and seem to really have a great community here.
