My husband tried the Corn beefed country style hash and he raved about it all day. My son had the breakfast burrito supreme - the size was fit for a king and the sauce was the boss. (Which they sell by the bottle btw) My daughter had a waffle with bacon and eggs and she wasn't disappointed. I tried the Guava mimosa and I loved that it wasn't sweet. It was mainly prosecco. I had a side of corn beef hash with one pancake, and it was amazing. I really loved the pancakes! They were light and fluffy. They were served with real Maple Syrup. Our server was very good! He offered a few awesome suggestions. He was very attentive and earned a full 20% tip from us. The atmosphere in the restaurant is casual. I has your typical diner flair, but it was clean and comfortable and that's all that matter. I am in a wheelchair. The restaurant is wheelchair accessible however I did not get a chance to visit the restrooms. This is a great place. Its been a couple years since I have reviewed Perks Eatery in No Scottsdale on Greenway Parkway. This remains a reliable breakfast restaurant for us on our annual visits. The staff are cheerful and always prompt with service. On this years trip I wanted to add a review of my husband's new favorite breakfast "The Cowboy steak and eggs". The beef filet medallions are served with eggs, toast and roasted potatoes. My husband opted for a side of his favorite New Mexico Chili sauce. He had this dish at least 4 different times and each time the beef was cooked perfectly medium rare. This is a great meal before a long day playing golf or sight seeing. I'm not a big breakfast eater, and I can certainly create something pretty good at home, so it's nice when I get taken out for the first meal of the day. This was my first time at Perk, and I was definitely not disappointed. The menu was extensive with the usual; eggs, waffles, hash, French toast, etc., but then they slipped in a few irresistibles. It was a tough choice: lemon/ricotta French toast or their wine country version. I went for the grapes! Out came perfect thick slices of egg-soaked bread with melted brie in the middle. The syrup had a hint of rosemary, and the roasted grapes were like candy. I could not finish it all. My host ended up full and happy with his choice. The employees are friendly and efficient, and the restaurant is so clean. They also have seating outside, and the liquor license allows for a Mimosa or Bloody Mary to accompany your meal. Prices are about average for the area, and they do add a surcharge if you use a credit card. I'm looking forward to my next visit. read more

Plenty of parking at Perk Eatery as it is located in a strip mall by Safeway. Casual breakfast/lunch spot that gets busy on the weekends. Service is attentive. The menu is what you would expect with breakfast, salads and sandwiches. The last time I was here, which was about 2 years ago, the special was pecan pumpkin pancakes and that is what it was today too! We both ordered the tuna melt with a side of fruit. This is a sandwich not an open faced melt. It had a particularly good taste that I thought was the bread but my dinner mate thought was an ingredient in the tuna, either way it tasted great! Prices are a little higher than other breakfast places in the area. Two tuna melts and a latte came to $37! They do add on a credit card surcharge, but I used cash so this did not apply to me today. What an amazing breakfast! And the staff was equal to the task. I met my cousin here for breakfast. We each had the Gordo, it resembled most a Denver omelette. So I'm not sure who really needs a 3 egg. Omelette, but let me tell you, this was so delicious.I ate the entire thing. At first I thought, "oh I can take half home", but it along with the rosemary, potatoes, was just magnificent. So there's that. So yes. We knew we ordered 3 egg omelets, but there was also a special of Waffle with walnuts. We thought, oh we'll split an order. Needless to say, we ate all of it. As we sat there stuffed, we chatted for 3 hours. The restaurant has a very light and open feel to it. Although it's indoors we almost felt like we were sitting out on the patio.Maybe because we were talking so much. Another plus was the attentiveness of staff. And admittingly, because we stayed so long, we still never, ever got the feeling that we were being watched to hurry up and leave. It was during the week and before the lunch rush. So maybe that's why, but regardless, we had a wonderful time.And were treated well. We are definitely planning on meeting there again as we live on opposite sides of the valley. It wasn't very busy. We chose to eat inside as it wasn't quite warm enough for the patio. My order of the pancake combo was very good. I love to get pancakes because I am not very good at making them at home. They are never as light as fluffy as good restaurant pancakes. These ones were good. 3 small pancakes. Eggs over easy were perfect. I always ask for the whites to be fully cooked but I want the yolk runny. Bacon was great too. My husband got the bacon tacos because it sounded good and something we have never seen on a menu before. Unfortunately they were a big disappointment. Just small store bought style corn tortillas with scrambled eggs and bacon layer across the eggs and plain cheese just melted on top. He did request the sauce be on the side. It could be easily be made much better with homestyle corn tortillas, bacon maybe being more thick or pork belly. Some addition of flavor to the scrambled eggs and a good cheese. The cilantro sauce was just okay. I make a homemade salsa that tastes much better with cilantro. Our waitress Kimberly was great and very attentive. The place was cute, nice, and feels comfortable. I waited 5 mins for them to clean and set up. Not bad! The server came over to greet me, I was still waiting for my friend.
