Simply the best service and price! I had stopped by their shop in Everett to have some keys made and the work was flawless. Most recently I needed a door knob with lock replaced. We've used them twice. Once my son locked himself out of his bedroom & was going to be late for class as his car keys were in the room. They came out promptly & got him on his way. Recently, our pest control service accidentally locked us out of our crawl space in the basement. They came the same day we called, super friendly, unlocked the space, & made a spare key for $75.00. They aren't really locksmiths. Might be a good service for lockouts or needing keys made on demand. Its a dispatch service that when you call they're on their way, in an emergency type scenario. They seem to be key makers and have advanced knowledge on how to pick locks and other general lock out dispatch services. Only trust this guy with the most basic lock issues. I've read all the other reviews. I needed a key for a 2001 Nissan Sentra. I used google and found out Its a programmed key. I called and asked very specifically about this. He said he can make a key that will start the car. He arrived and looked at the car.. I showed him the black ring around the ignition switch (an antenna for integrated anti-theft key ID) he said no problem. He started to take apart the trunk. I know enough about keys to know exactly what he was Doing... But a trunk lock only uses the first few tumblers.. ( like only having a partial code) so he spent 30 minutes pulling the trunk.. Made a key off that partial, then hand ground the rest to fit the lock.. I asked about looking it up by code (he just kept saying ok.. Its ok.. Ok)... But it turns out he couldn't program the key !!! Which i told him about when I called and when he arrived. So the car wouldn't start. Good Lock smiths belong to a service that allows them to look up correct codes by VIN he chooses to not pay for this service. Now my trunk lock doesn't function properly.. But the dealer made a correct CODE CUT key and coded the electronic anti-theft part of the key in about 10 minutes for half what I paid Cascade to make a junk key !! Edit after the comment from cascade... I can't believe what I just read.. Not your fault? And then to go into a list. Disgusting !!! If I could give negative stars I would. :( I understand the want to defend yourself but you don't accuse people of lying. If you have all this equipment and can look stuff up... Why did you take my trunk lock out to Copy the pattern? Why did you not program the key so it would start ?!!! Look at this response... It shows that if you need a very simple service like a lock out or a copy of an existing key everything is great..... But if you have a program key or don't want a hand filed horrible key made like me you're going to it seems be accused of lying? I'm a real person.. Look at my reviews.. I mostly am into food. And just to be sure it was Cascade lock... It was a shorter 40ish Asian guy in a newer white Ford van with a huge Cascade lock sign. I can't recall his name but he was very polite, but couldn't make a code cut transponder key to start my car !! read more

I couldn't find the key to a locked cabinet. I called and he came out within about an hour. I was very pleased as I hadn't expected such timely service in a non-urgent situation. The locksmith was very professional and very nice. He said he wasn't able to make new keys as he only had a limited selection in his mobile van. He invited me to come by his store where he had "thousands of keys" to have new keys made. He then picked the cabinet lock which, ultimately, enabled me to get an extra key that I had forgotten was in the cabinet. When I later went to his store, I was able to get a copy of the specialty key made. If the story had stopped here, this review would definitely have been a 5-star review. However, I have since been back, twice, to the store and the counter-woman keeps telling me that they don't have any matching keys to be able to make additional copies of the specialty key. When I reminded her that she had previously made a copy of the key, she said that she was out and hadn't re-ordered more. So I waited a couple of weeks and returned, once again, just to be told that they don't have any matching keys to be able to make a copy of the specialty key. So frustrating! I would definitely still use Cascade Lock & Key, again, for a lock-out or making copies of mainstream keys. However, they did not come through with regard to the specialty key and I will be trying to find another shop that can successfully make copies of the specialty key for me. read more
