We were excited to try something new in the area, and our experience started off on a positive note. The host was extremely friendly and welcoming, which made for a great first impression. The menu sounded amazing, with creative descriptions and dishes that looked fantastic when they arrived. Presentation was definitely a strong point--every plate looked like it belonged in a magazine. Unfortunately, the flavor just didn't match the presentation. The food was surprisingly bland and lacked seasoning. It seemed as though there was little to no salt, pepper, or spice used, leaving the dishes tasting very flat. While I can appreciate that some people may prefer milder flavors or have dietary restrictions, we were expecting much more based on the menu descriptions. Overall, the service and presentation were excellent, but the lack of flavor was a major disappointment. If you're looking for food that caters to a very mild palate or specific dietary needs, this may be a great option. For us, however, the food simply didn't deliver, and we probably won't be returning.

Amazing as always. The chips are usually hot but not this time. Staff was friendly and attentive. Restaurant is clean. If you have been here you're really missing out.

Friday evening here is busy. Happy hours 3-5pm and I missed. But the drinks here were delicious. The service getting the food out was fast. kids menu chicken quesadilla was great. My daughter enjoyed it very much. Molecajete dish was more than enough for one person. The meat was well seasoned and loaded. The parking lot a bit small since it is shared with other businesses. Parking tight for bigger trucks. But overall very easy to find.

The food and drinks were awesome! They have unique drinks I'd go back for. The service was good but the server a little lacking. It looks small and very chain like and some would say "oh another Mexican restaurant ", they're wrong. It's surprisingly good and have uniques dishes and drinks worth stopping in for. The establishment was clean, well kept, and has plenty of room for small or large groups. We aren't regulars yet but worth the stop every time we go in and try to meet up there as often as we can.

Ok, I must confess I was a bit skeptical. Many Mexican places but hard to find an authentic one. I would categorize this as nicer than most but not high end. It that makes sense. They have full bar and the drink menu was is on point. We tried the mezcal old fashioned and it was delicious. Be aware, mezcal is more of an acquire taste. They have a lunch menu and we found it more affordable too. It runs from 11-2. The food was authentic and tasty. The service was great, from the moment we walked in, they acknowledged us and waited less than 5mins to be seated. They have background music playing to it can be aloud. Totally family friendly.

It was very busy when we arrived with several large groups. We waited as the hostess cleared a table and in less than five minutes we went from the door to our table. Our server was busy but efficient. Our dinner order was taken and delivered very quickly considering all the people. Our dinners were fresh off the grill, tasty, and satisfying.

Service seemed a little slow given that it wasn't busy for this late lunch/early dinner time of 3PM. Our server was nice and knowledgeable once she arrived. Had the Mexican Mule which was really good and had just enough alcohol. For food, had the shrimp ceviche and steak street tacos. Everything was presented really nice but was lacking in flavor/seasoning. I had to ask for more limes for my ceviche. The steak was bland. Overall, I suppose a decent experience and quantity of food and drink for ~$55 (includes tip). Would I go back---possibly if on the area and wanted a good drink and chips/salsa. Not on my list for a return visit anytime soon though.

Really enjoyed our visit to Casa Tio's. I had the cochinita pibil, which was flavorful, tender, and a differentiator than most of the other typical Mexican restaurants along with other menu items. My wife ordered Tio's nachos with steak, and they were better than average, quality steak, and a generous portion. Service was friendly and the overall experience was excellent. We'll definitely be back.

AMAZING Mexican food in Murfreesboro! We moved here from Texas four years ago and have yet to find good Mexican food. Presentation, service and quality was outstanding! We had the TENDEDERO DE TACOS as an appetizer, we got chicken and potato - the chicken was wonderful! For our main course we got the TROMPITO DE PASTOR and my husband and I shared that. It was huge! We have plenty of leftovers. Meat was cooked perfectly, the onions and grilled pineapple was perfectly paired. Corn tortillas were delish! So glad we found this gem

Food was hot and fresh. The Salmon Salad was my favorite. The cheese dip was delicious. They have great drinks. Service was great. Our server was well informed and friendly.

First of all, this is not your ordinary Mexican food, this is INTERIOR. And no offense to the first idiotic review on here, but Camino Real is trash compared to this place because again, it's NOT TexMex. You're going to pay more for better quality. Some of you need to learn the difference between Interior Mexican and TexMex because there is a BIG difference. Our waiter, Santos, was very prompt and on top of everything so the service was great. We loved the interior of the restaurant. It's very cozy and relaxed. The food was wonderful and the Interior flavors were delicious. I highly recommend getting the Enchiladas Mole because the mole was so smooth, not spicy, and not chunky like I've had at other places. My husband and my dad loved their dishes as well. Great job everyone and so glad to have you on this side of the Boro!

We are from Texas and it's been a challenge to find good Mexican food. Casa Tios is a long awaited blessing! The restaurant has nice esthetics and the food is fabulous! The food presentation lets you know it's going to be a great experience and it does not mislead. It will be one of our weekly spots for lunch or dinner.

They did NOT disappoint!! I am officially hooked! From the moment we walked in, I could see and feel the sheer energy coming from the crowd and the ambiance: it already felt like great food and great people. It was packed to the brim for Wine Wednesday! They had one table available for two! Our server, Sarah, was outstanding!! She was sweeter than pie and extremely attentive! She always made sure we had exactly what we wanted when we wanted it. She advised sharing a bottle of wine since we wanted the same one, and since it was half price most wines. The young manager on duty delivered and uncorked the bottle, and she was just as sweet as Sarah! Her name escapes me, but I will find out the next time I go. The Spanish Tempranillo we tried was divine! It was perfectly balanced without being too dry or too tannic or too sweet. It was so smooth and thoroughly enjoyable to drink! For food, we started with the goat cheese bruschetta. It was perfection - rich in flavor and well balanced in the distribution of each component! From there, we tried the special of Steak Tips Au Pauvre - with a peppercorn wine sauce. We chose brussels sprouts as our side, and it also came with a side salad. We weren't too hungry, so we split it. Sarah even had the kitchen split both the salad and the main dish in half for us! The salad was so fresh (with ripe grape tomatoes!!) and the ranch dressing was classic and delightful. The wine sauce was everything I wanted it to be: rich, complex, thick, and buttery. It reminded me of the beautiful sauces you find on a steak or chicken dish at a sidewalk cafe in Paris. The dessert menu looked amazing, but we didn't have any room left. All I can say is you MUST try this place!!! If you can find Sarah, even better!

I had the broccoli and it was perfectly cooked and served still hot! All in all a great first experience - made that way because of Eli our server! Thanks for a good meal and great service!

When…read morewe arrived, the staff had embossed our menus with a "Happy Birthday" message, which was such a thoughtful touch. We ordered a bottle of wine (delicious), and noticed some guests bringing their own, though I'm not sure about corkage fees. We started with the smoked pork croquettes, which were outstanding and ended up being the highlight of the meal. For entrées, we tried the lamb, braised beef, halibut, duck tacos, and mushroom ravioli. Everything was served promptly, and overall the food was very good, though there's room for small improvements. The braised beef came highly recommended but didn't stand out in flavor or texture. The lamb, cooked medium rare, was excellent. The ravioli was rich and tasty, though the cream sauce slightly overpowered the dish. The halibut was well prepared, but the potato leek cream truly stole the show. As we were leaving, the staff surprised us with a serving of strawberry ice cream for the birthday guest; a sweet and memorable gesture that capped off the evening nicely. Overall, a great experience with attentive service and a few standout dishes.

The food was perfect and really not even that expensive compared to my home town. I started with a nice Cabernet. I had two in fact. I did not know that Tennessee has an extra tax (LBD - 15%) on alcohol sold by the glass! I thought Republicans were all about low taxes. I also enjoyed an absolutely delicious shrimp bisque. It was really good (and only $6 for a bowl). It was smooth and flavorful. In my neighborhood that would cost $15. My entree was a daily special, yellowfin tuna. It was nicely seared on the outside and sushi grade on the inside. I could really taste the healthy Omega 3's. The fish was served on a nicely flavored bed of long grain rice. A wonderful mango salsa topped the fish. The accompanying broccoli was perfectly steamed. This was only $26. I shall return again to this great place.

It felt very comfortable and almost elevated. My husband ordered a NY strip steak with mashed potatoes and macaroni & cheese. He ordered his steak blue rare, as that was not an option on the ordering machine. Our waitress kindly said she could make a note for blue rare if possible. We later learned that the kitchen staff had no idea what blue rare was or how to cook it, which is a red flag for a restaurant that is supposed to be a "steakhouse". As you could guess, it didn't come out blue rare or even rare; to be honest, it came out medium rare and with no seasoning. He decided it was fine and he would manage, so he did not mention it, although we definitely did not ask for a box. He added his sides were okay, but overall, the food experience was 3/10. I had a mocktail called "spa day." It was a pineapple mojito without the alcohol, and I love a good pineapple mojito, so I enjoyed it. I also ordered a steak. Filet 6 oz medium and it was cooked fine, but the only seasoning was pepper, and thank goodness I have grown accustomed to pepper; otherwise, I would have had to send it back because it was the only thing on it. I ordered a loaded potato and the apples as my sides, and they were perfect. The apples honestly were probably the best part of the meal, although they did taste like they were from a box. Overall, in my opinion, it is definitely not worth $130, but the waitress was very nice and attentive
