Really good food and service. Had the Wet Burrito and it was awesome. Beef side of the burrito was pretty salty, but the chicken side was great. They cover it in an enchilada sauce and some very tasty queso blanco sauce. I definitely recommend this place and will be back. read more

I really enjoyed Casa Real we're from out of town and we enjoyed the the food. The service was quick and courteous and they were quick to refill drinks, salsa, and chips (a must for any Mexican restaurant). Also, the salsa was solid, they obviously used fresh ingredients. My wife really liked the chili rellennos (sp?) and I enjoyed the chimichangas. This is a solid Mexican joint... read more

Great food and service. I have traveled all over the country and I think the wet burrito is top 3. The red sauce has a great smokey flavor that delights the taste buds. I was in town for a conference. If I ever travel through again I'll be stopping here. read more

When i am on the road i love eating Mexican Food because it's good, delicious and a great deal overall!!! Casa Real fit the bill to a T (bueno, bonito y barato!!!) I ordered the fish tacos to go and I did not make it out of the parking lot without having some tacos, salsa, and chips. The service was great!!! The food was fingerlicking good!!! It was a great experience and I know where to go next time I am in the neighborhood... read more

Food was outstanding, better than the Mexican places near where I live. My oldest (who typically loathes salsa) was ecstatic at the quality and flavor of the salsa, he couldn't get enough of it. Plus, he found multiple things on the menu he liked, which is a rarity at most places. Wide variety of entrees, including some not seen at typical Mexican places. I tried the Pina Vallarta (a half pineapple stuffed with beef, chicken, shrimp, peppers, and onions), it was quite good. Definitely worth a second and third visit. And affordable, too! read more

Typical Mexican American food. Tried carnitas - good but very salty. Both beans and salsa had smoky flavor. Tried to order tostaguac with chicken, but they delivered a tostada with no meat, no beans on first try, second try with beef. Charged us $8.00 for 12 ounce beer. But, waitress removed charge for tostaguac and beer after complaining. Overall experience okay. read more

Good food honestly priced. Attentive but not hovering service. They seem genuinely happy to see you. This is our go-to for Mexican food.

We've stopped here every time we go to Kalahari and this place doesn't disappoint. I love the decor. The tables are incredible! The wait staff were nice and fast. Prices are of good deal and the food delicious. If your in the mood for a scare visit the ghostly manor behind it. I'd do it before eating! read more

Tried here based on reviews. Not impressed. Salsa is bland, so I ordered the hot and wow no in between! Wicked hot but I loved it. Got a margarita made with patron not worth it couldn't taste the tequila and patron has a distinct taste. Lunch # 11 the pork burrito was the star. Pork was awesome. Beans too runny for me and rice was flavorless. Chili relleno ala carte was just ok. Breading a little spongy but properly made. Probably won't be back. If these are the "best" margaritas I know not to order one again. By myself my lunch cost me $20 little high if you ask me. read more

This was a good place to eat after a solid day at cedar point. I'm a "foodie" so this didn't make it to my "foodie-radar" but it made it to my NOMS-radar. : p It was pretty good, appropriate portions, and the meat was well seasoned. I wouldn't say this was the BEST ever, because let's face it... It's in Ohio...but it does best out many restaurants in that area... read more

This is a good example of a family-oriented Mexican restaurant. Good food, good prices and excellent customer service.

Food was really good and the salsa made in house was absolutely the best I've ever had (and I'm a latino). Went here because of other Yelp reviews. I'll be back. read more

I've always driven by this bright yellow restaurant going to and from Cedar Point. This past Saturday my sister and I were I town for the weekend for a Cedar Point trip. We decided to eat at Casa Real. Being huge lovers of Mexican food, we've eaten at quite a few places. And this place in at the top of our list The inside reminded us of some of our favorite Mexican restaurants. And the food? Fan freeking tastik. My sister and I got burritos and enchaladas. As well as guacomole and queso dip. I also got a side of rice. The sauce for the enchaladas was the perfect blend of spice and sweetness. There was a little cheese on top, but this minimal amount did not take away from the dish We left the restaurant feeling satisfied and were really happy we decided to finally stop and eat. I will recommend Casa Real to anyone heading to Sandusky and I will defiantly eat here again next time I visit read more

I've been here going all the way back to 2009 on my visits to Cedar Point, and this place is still here. This time I got the veggie fajitas for $10.67. Can't beat the price. Took half the food and the chips back to my hotel room for later. read more

Ordered from them through DoorDash and It was a horrible idea. Not only did they mess up my order, they forgot some of It too. It also took an hour and a half to get when there was a 50 minute drop off time. read more

Stopped by here to get a late lunch with my family. I enjoyed a monster chimichanga with chicken and rice. It was made to order with my substitutions correct. The chips and salsa and cheese dip definitely hit the spot! I will be sure to stop by this place again- especially after visiting nearby Cedar Point. :) Quick and friendly service! read more

Queso da bomb, chimichangas da bomb, atmosphere and service are also equally da bomb...

Casa Real provided a hearty meal after a long day at Cedar Point. My server was extremely friendly and helpful with questions. The food was awesome and a little different than the options I can get at my local places back home. They offer a variety of vegetables inside the veggie burrito, outside of the standard fajitas veggies. I will definitely be back on my annual trip to Sandusky for more delicious food! read more

We had a lovely meal outside. The food was typical for a Mexican restaurant, but we did find it delicious and fresh. Service was fast and friendly. read more

I feel like I need to start with a disclaimer: I am from michigan and for decades have been going to southwest Detroit's Mexican town where there is some legit great food. This is your standard, run of the mill Mexican joint. Would I eat there again? Sure. The service is great and there was nothing wrong with the food. We were staying at Great Wolf lodge down the street with our 3yr old and this was definitely better than the food we had there. read more

The place was very cute inside the atmosphere wasn't bad. We got stuck in the area from New Hampshire and it was right next to our hotel, so it was definitely a fair price for drinks. The only problem was we ordered two drinks that had fruit flies in them, unfortunately they came from the same bottle. The waitstaff was very nice as well as the owner he gave us a free shot to make up for it, but it also had flies in it... So obviously it wasn't the best. read more

after a full day of roller coaster we wanted an awesome food. I jumped on yelp and found this place. Yelp did not disappoint us! The salsa we were welcomed with was the first indication that we found a gem. We ordered a pitcher of Margarita with Cuervo Gold. Amazing!!! There were so many unique items to choose from. I ordered the shrimp enchiladas. I wish I could find them in Detroit. My hubby got the shrimp and steak quesadilla with the most amazing mouth watering cheese. the guacamole is everything. Needless to say this restaurant was wonderful. read more

My 3rd visit and last. Nacho's supreme was the worst I've ever had, gooey shredded chicken mixed in!?! with almost no meat, just dreadful. I should have had a fishbowl margarita to ease the pain. This meal was shocking. read more

More like Casa UnReal. Stopped in one Sunday evening just before 9:00PM and was told "Were Closed" (and not very nicely) when we walked in the door. Really!?! The hours posted on the electronic sign out front said 10PM on Sunday. Asked about the time difference and was told that the sign was incorrect. Seriously!?! Electronic signs can be changed easily, which indicates to us that they just wanted to close up the restaurant early. Too bad. Their loss and a reason for this bad review. read more

I've had worse, I think. Our server was not very attentive and the taco entree I ordered...well the tacos were so small that I had to order more food. Seriously, I didn't know they made taco shells that tiny! I laughed when they brought it out! The taste was just ok, nothing great. read more

We decided to eat here after a long day at Cedar Point. Casa Real has an extensive menu (with several vegetarian options) of real Mexican food- not the American knock off fare you get at chain restaurants. The margaritas are nice and strong, there's happy hour deals, and the service is fantastic. Definitely eat here for dinner or lunch instead of the overpriced food at the park or the nasty chain restaurants down the road. read more

Came here because of the good reviews and were not disappointed! Really good flavor, we both had the wet burrito which was really good. The fried ice cream was okay, I've had better but it was still very tasty, a little heavy on the whipped cream. Overall very well priced, good food, definitely better than your average Mexican chain, would recommend! read more

I always love coming here. The margaritas are great and the menu is always changing. I always try to find something different on the menu to try and everything has always been delicious. read more

If you eat anywhere else, and you love Mexican food, you are making a mistake! Our family of 4 with two young ones loved this place while visiting Sandusky. I was impressed by the margaritas, Queso fundito, as well as my entree. The salsa and chips were very good. We stuffed ourselves and left happy to have gone beyond the chain restaurant selections in the area. I will always come here when visiting Sandusky. read more

Okay, I never write reviews, but this place rocks. My family and I are in from Chicago at Cedar Point, and these guys sat or party of six at 7:30 on a Friday instantly. They served us a giant pitcher of frozen margaritas for only $16.99!! As if it couldn't get any better, our food was brought to us on steaming hot plates. Everyone of us were sharing bites of our entrees because we liked them so much. Great job!! We were very excited to find this place at a great price in overpriced "Cedar Point land". hey we might comeback tomorrow! If you are at Cedar Point and need to escape the park for good food come here! Highly recommend! read more

Surprisingly good, and I'm from El Paso, Tx. Of course I wasn't expecting much for that same fact. Good prices too.

If I could give this place 10 stars I would. The food was amazing but the service was outstanding! The waitress was funny, kind, and very fast. If just for the fact that she brought my toddler his plate perfectly cooked on a cooled plate ready to eat. This place earned every star. read more

I've had enchiladas and their burritos. Food is decent. Their flan isn't that good. Service here is always exceptional.

I must concur with most of the reviews: this place is the real deal. Great food, awesome service, reasonable prices. Highly recommended.
