After touring the Rutherford B Hayes Presidential Library and Museum we asked our guide for a good place for lunch and she recommended Casa Fiesta. First walking through the doors, immediately you notice that Casa Fiesta is a most appropriate name. Not only were the colors festive and vibrant, the host quickly and wholeheartedly greeted us at the door. We instantly felt at home and welcomed. On my watch it was 1:50 Illinois time but in reality it was 3:00 Ohio time..... The wide variety of lunch specials were spectacular but it appeared we were too late as they ended at 2:00. Our server looked at my watch, said it's not 2:00 yet, go ahead and order what you'd like. Simply amazing! My wife ordered the chicken fajitas, I ordered the beef chimichanga. While waiting for the food to arrive we enjoyed excellent chips and salsa. When the food arrived, the servings were more than generous. Both orders came with salad, Spanish rice and refried beans. The food was excellent. For dessert we enjoyed homemade flan, my wife's favorite. The food and service was amazing! The only disappointment is this restaurant isn't closer to home, if it was we would surely make it a favorite. We would gladly recommend Casa Fiesta and look forward to dining here again in the future. read more

I walked in on a Thursday night at around 5:45 and was seated right away. My server came over and I could tell he was in training since he didn't speak English very well but after I gave him my order he came back with a gentleman who did speak better english and they made sure my order was correct. I appreciate this gesture as I have been to many Mexican restaurants and had my order messed up and never was checked. The food came out to me within 10 minutes which was super fast and I was surprised. The food was great and the meat was on point! The chicken on the Nachos Supremos was massive! The ambiance was nice too. There was alot of families in there and the parking lot was full. My server hadn't returned so I flagged someone down for the check and a box. I assume my server was busy being trained so I didn't mind at all. The guy who checked my order said the guy who took my order was just from Mexico and still learning English so hence why I don't criticize him. The place is clean- they were able to accommodate a large crowd of 11. The food is mediocre at best. Tacos and nachos were decent but the chimichanga was foul. My grandmas flan was BURNT and grainy. Almost like there was rice in it. They had a really hard time keeping up with the large table. We went without drinks, I think we asked about 3 times for additional chips. The California burriotos were TINY and the rice portion was about 1/4 cup. Wont be back... it was halfway for our family to meet up. We had a reservation so they knew there was a big party coming. Fantastic food!! However they get our order wrong often. Typically they tie the to for bag up and we don't think to look till we get home. We learned the hard way multiple times so now we check it. Again, today we received chicken fajitas instead of steak fajitas and had to walk it back in. Writing this while waiting for the correct fajitas so I'm sure the rest the food will be cold. The last time we were home and called back and we were told the manager would call the next day because they were closing in thirty. He never called. I'll keep going tho. this food is terrible like I'm eating trash the service was OKAY but ambiance was a little overkill. honestly if you want Mexican food go to Taco Bell they have better food I just don't see the point of going here. The food is always very good. Fajitas and Carne Asada Tacos are our go to's. The only issues we've had is with the take out/pick up ordering. We always have one part of the order that's missing or wrong (wrong sauces or salsa, missing tortillas for fajitas, missing sides completely). And we live about 15 min out of town, and normally don't notice til we get home - so I suppose we need to check our bags before we leave the lot from now on. Other than these issues it's usually pretty good and the service when dining in is great too. Will continue coming, the take out just needs work! read more

For all the years I've lived in Fremont, I had never been to Casa Fiesta until this year (always was an El Rancho person)! I ended up going for a work lunch and I was blown away by everything. The interior is just as beautiful as the exterior; with bright colors and beautiful artwork all over the furniture and walls. The menu is extensive and I was able to get exactly what I wanted. I am a vegan and my options are extremely slim here in Fremont, however, one of the great pluses of their menu is that they cater to vegetarians which makes it that much easier to alter my meals to be vegan! We were driving through Ohio on our way back from Chicago back to Maryland and we decided to stop for the night. When I asked the woman at the hotel front desk where was a good place to eat in town she told me Applebee's. Well, I knew there has to be a non-chain option somewhere so I hopped on here and found Casa Fiesta and I'm so glad we did. The service was super friendly and warm. The restaurant itself was colorful and fun. We each had a much needed frozen margarita (he had strawberry and I had mango) which were very good. Our dinner plates were huuuuuuge! We stuffed ourselves silly and basically rolled ourselves back to the hotel. My husband had the "wet burrito" and I had a chicken burrito. For $9 a plate it was a great deal and very delicious. They were VERY BUSY but we're still amazing. My waiter sacrificed being personal for speed but given how busy it was and him constantly going between 4 tables from what I could see it was a solid trade off. Food was very good and they were quick and courteous to amend any mistakes on the order! I would recommend this restaurant to anyone! We went there last night and it was fantastic! We we're greeted within moments of entering and seated promptly. Our server was there for our drink order right away and our chips and salsa came right after. I got the Ohio Special (I think it was called) and it was so delicious. The food was hot and fresh. Our server was attentive, offering drink refills and presenting the checks in a timely manner. It was crowded, but it did not impact our experience. The only thing I would say is that the food comes so fast, if you want to enjoy your chips and drink for a bit, wait to order. The salsa is delicious!!! In the area for a work trip , yelp reviews are right on point! This is a wonderful little Mexican restaurant- we had a great meal. Chicken chimichanga meal- so fresh and well seasoned I had the #20 with beans on the side. Everything was spot on and delicious!!!! The price can't be beat for the service and food. I'm a southern Californian so I'm pretty picky about my Mexican food. My brother and his wife live nearby, so I was up for a try on our visit. Liked the chips and salsa, and was equally impressed with the guacamole. Two thumbs up for the strawberry blended margarita. Mom and I shared chicken fajitas. The serving was so generous, we hardly put a dent in it. I prefer corn tortillas and the we're five stars alone. I didn't ask but they tasted homemade. Yum! So bottom line? Terrible food.do not waste your hard earned money.. the tortillas they have for maybe 2 minutes and then they're rock hard. The salsa is terrible. My uncle ordered chorizo with eggs and it was burnt. I went to Casa Fiesta with my girlfriend after driving eight hours from Chicago. Casa Fiesta is interesting because it has both authentic and Americanized items on the menu. However, the value was incredible, the flavor of the food was terrific, and the ambiance was near perfect. We paid $16 before tip and had enough food for an army. We ordered two enchalliadas, a tamale, and a fried ice-cream dessert. Everything was fresh, hot, and delicious. If we are ever in the area, we will be sure to go back! read more

I'm visiting Fremont on business and was looking for local good eats. This place trully rocks when it comes to Mexican food. The restaurant's decor was lively, the service was very friendly, and mostly, the food was outstanding. I highly recommend the Carne asada dish. The meat was very flavorful and the fixin's that usally come along on these dishes such as refried beans, rice, pico, tortillas just completed the dish perfectly. Nothing really bad to say about this place. Other than it's very hard to find parking on the weekend Let me start off by saying that we are visiting from Texas. So, I went with my husband for the first time. I had been ill, tummy ache, sinus infection. And so on. so I wasn't hungry at all. I saw that they had chicken soup. It's not how a Tex-Mex would normally make it, but it was good, and I definitely felt better after eating some of it. My soup came with crackers, and that cured my tummy ache, and nausea. My husband had milanesa- chicken fried steak. He said it was a bit over fried, but it wasn't dry. He ate it all. He was hungry. The restaurant was clean, and the staff was very kind. And listened to our requests. The food is fresh, and the soup was a decent serving with rice on the bottom, shredded and stewed chicken on top with carrots potatoes and celery. We love to go here for special occasions like a Birthday. They bring a sombrero, a little treat, and sing! The food is always good. We like to split a fajita, a half pitcher of strawberry banana frozen margarita and a fried ice cream of banana chimichanga.
