First of all our server Evelyn was great. The restaurant doesn't look like anything special on the outside except the parking lot was completely full. The inside was very inviting and comfortable. The menu had something for everyone and the prices reasonable. The food was very good and served piping hot without a long wait. My husband had the cinco de mayo burrito which was everything he had hoped for. I had the server recommended dish of marinated chicken with peppers, onions and mushrooms. I thoroughly enjoyed my meal.We got there on a Friday at 3:30 pm which seemed like a good time because the place was filling up fast. Will definitely go back again. read more

We stopped in for dinner on a Saturday night before heading to a dance performance at Owens Community College. It's a neighborhood area restaurant. My husband has eaten here before and raves about the chimichanga! We were seated right away in the room without the bar, less noisy . I love the decor specifically the chairs with cool designs. We ordered guacamole to start with, delicious and right amount of onion. I ordered a mojito, very refreshing! I was torn between chicken enchiladas and the carnitas, so I went with the enchiladas. It was the best sauce I've ever had and full of chicken. The sauce was just enough, didn't make the dish soggy and it was well balanced, not overpowering or too much of any particular flavor. I didn't care for the rice but only because no one makes it as best as my mother in law and I ate too many chips! Our server was friendly, attentive and talkative. We will definitely return and he recommended the carnitas or fajitas! read more

Came here last week with a date. It wasn't terribly busy but it started off a little rough. We walked in, and there was no host/hostess. We waited roughly five minutes before anyone greeted us or noticed we were there. It was almost the point where we were waving people down to look at us. After we got past the seating portion, it all went up-hill. Our server was quick, had help getting our chips and salsa to us. We ordered a sampler platter, which came out fast. My date had a chicken quesadilla and I ordered fajitas. They were delicious. He even gave me additional tortillas because I mentioned earlier that I'm not sure three would be enough. We asked what the most popular dessert was and ended up getting some cheesecake deal too. Pretty decent. I ended up packaging up my leftover fajitas and leaving them on the restaurant table as I left. AWESOME. haha. Just what everyone loves to do. Definitely would go back. read more

So worth the wait! The friendliest staff, so happy to please. Try anything grilled; so fresh and full of flavor. My favorites are the Carne Asada and the Carnitas. Service was excellent. Food was cold, vegetables were cold and seemed to have been swimming in hot water for hours. Chicken fajita was ok, beans were cold. Margaritas tasted fine. Probably won't go back for a while. We have been weekly customers for over a year, but the food quality has steadily gone down hill. read more

The Guacamole too light and tasted like it was mixed with sour cream or mayonnaise. It was absolutely disgusting. I asked the waitress and she said no, but, she did not ask if I liked it or offer another appetizer or take it off my bill. Since my son and daughter-in-law moved to this area a year ago we have been here several times and have not had one bad experience. Love the food and you get enough food for the money. The service has always been fast and friendly. The ambiance is also wonderful. We've ate at several Mexican restaurants in Toledo and love this little hidden gem the most. I got the mole poblano. Came with rice and beans. The food was not hot, but the plate was extremely hot. The chicken was rubbery and the rice was over cooked. Didn't eat the beans. Mango/strawberry margarita was the bomb. Loved it. Had to ask for the "real salsa", and it was good. It had good flavor and it was hot. My husband said his food wasn't hot at all, but ate because he was hungry. we were traveling from Niagara Falls Canada to Chicago. They did ask me to get something else but I thought if my food and my husbands food were not hot at all, the next plate won't be any better. Told them no and I would just like to finish my drink and my chips & salsa. They only charged me for what my husband ate. The decor and all needed some help. In town from San Antonio, TX where there's a lot of pretty good Mexican Food. Have seen this place before but have never stooped in. Today, my brother and I finally stopped in not expecting much, we were wrong. Place is off the beaten path and doesn't look like much. We got there during Happy Hour. Not a whole lot of people there but right away noticed a few things. We were greeted right away and seated. Decor was nice and definitely gave the place a Mexican flair. I ordered Steak Fajita Plate, brother ordered Chicken Quesadilla. Food was very good, service was excellent, place was very clean, including restrooms. I went to cinco de mayo hoping id find good food and a nice environment but right when i walked through the door the owner was yelling at his employee about eating food off of the floor i then got rudely served at my table by the owner who looks like hes 15 years old and he called me a pendejo (dumb a** in spanish) because i asked for a menu after i got my food i was even more disappointed when it came out cold and the chicken was raw i ended having to go to their bathroom and right when i walked in i saw the owner leave without washing his hands when i left i saw him drinking at the bar hitting on another customer i tried to complain to my waitress but she said "if i say anything to him hell just forget because he always shows up drunk" i left with great disappointment and have never seen any owner behave this immature read more
