Great service for our large party. Food was so excellent. I got the shrimp with garlic and it was amazing! My dad got the dish with the half pineapple and also loved it. Highly recommend! read more

Casa Mexicana - Shrimp with special garlic sauce - Mexican Near Me - Bellevue, Ohio

Yelp wants to know three things , so here they are: The food. It was not great. Two chicken tacos, "Mexican style" came out with cheese, onions and lettuce. Nope folks, that's not Mexican style. Nevermind that they wrapped them in paper so the tortillas got soggy. The service. Attentive and friendly enough. No complaints from me on that. The ambiance: It's cramped AF. You have to turn sideways to get through the restaurant. I was also seated in a corner booth that felt like I was in a box. They also charged me $5.99 for two tacos when the menu said $4.99. They also charge a 3% fee for using credit cards. All in all? No thanks. 2 Stars. read more

Always great food here and the staff and the owner are absolutely amazing. The best restaurant in town and the atmosphere is great as well.

So far I got here not that long ago but the inviorment is really bad I see ants and flys all around. Shall I even talk about the bathrooms they are really small stink and the paint is coming if the walls but the chips and salsa are really good and the service is good and the tacos are ok read more

Excellent service, lots of options, I highly recommend street steak tacos, and their sangria Margaritas

Customer service and food is always amazing! And they have the best margaritas lol. Highly recommended! Lots of tvs, they have a bar so if you don't want to sit at a table. Family owned and operated. read more

I ordered a Mexican Salad, the meat was greasy with no seasoning and it was very soggy. Not what l expected. Will nit be back.

Was in town on business and I ate here twice. The atmosphere was great. The food was tasty and very attentive service. I was the salsa was a bit hotter but I was able to add some Tampico and get it to my liking..... I am from south Texas. I do how business brings me back to town. read more

The food was great and fresh! This restaurant had Such amazing service. I will definitely be coming back to visit !

I was really impressed with my dinner here recently. I ordered the Pina Vallarta. It was half a pineapple filled with chicken, steak, and shrimp and topped with cheese and grilled pineapple. It came with rice and lettuce, tomato and guacamole. The grilled pineapple was so sweet and juicy and the shrimp were huge. It was a really delicious meal. I ordered a passion fruit margarita as well and it was very good. I was with a large party and it was very busy when we arrived but we got seated quickly and the service was great. If I was in the area again I'd definitely go back. read more

Great Food! Best Mexican in at least a 30 mile radius. Great Service been here multiple times, it can get really busy at times, but the kitchen seems able to keep up. read more

This is 100% great and can be Americanized and authentic to your liking. Order the spicy sauce for dipping chips (but only if you really like spicy). All dishes were great. read more

Great food and service. Every time I come here the food is amazing place is also always clean

Casa Mexican is delightful small colorful Mexican restaurant. It's a local family owned business and has a very authentic feel both inside and out. The food and atmosphere were both good. It's not fancy or high end, but it's a relaxed atmosphere and food that is much better than any fast food chain would offer in my opinion. I will definitely come back next time I'm in town. The staff is friendly and it reminds me of my lunches when I travel to Mexico. My only suggestion would be to make the chips fresh and offer a fried / crispy taco (my personal favorite). read more

Casa Mexicana - Pina Vallallarta- my favorite! - Mexican Near Me - Bellevue, Ohio

This one is a maybe recommendation for me. The decor is fun and colorful. They have plenty of TV's with sports on. Our food was basic Midwest Mexican food. I wouldn't call it completely authentic, more Americanized. For instance: chips and salsa are ample, but salsa is closer to ketchup than salsa, chips had and aftertaste I have come to associate with older chips. My enchilada was basically a rolled up tortilla with cheese, no sauce (or maybe just a tiny bit?). I didn't finish it because it was bland. However, my husband LOVED his burrito. So - a maybe recommendation. Also, the server (not ours, one who stopped to help) argued with me about the freshness of the guacamole (which I also didn't eat). Our server was very nice and friendly, but also very busy (100% not her fault!!). All in all, there are not many Mexican options for people to compare in the nearby areas, so I might come off as a bit harsh. (I'm a SoCal native / transplant to Michigan). read more

Great food! I have never had a bad meal from here and the fact I can get margaritas to go- perfect

Lovely place, excellent food! Love the attention to detail in the hot pepper silverware wraps and the liner for the chips! Shows they care. Our waitress was wonderful! read more

Decent food, recently updated menu. Only provides one basket of chips before you have to buy them

I found this on Yelp while travelling for biz. It was late friday, near closing time, but the staff was incredibly friendly! The decor is what we Americans have come to expect - color, color & more color. I got the carnitas, which for me is comfort food. It was good, though i'd like to see something else (more interesting) than iceberg lettuce/guac/pico. read more

First time here while working in Sandusky area. I was disappointed with the food. The beef taco was literally dripping with grease out the opposite end and the Mexican rice was slightly hard and left a bad aftertaste. The tortilla chips had zero taste and zero salt. The salsa was not even remotely spicy and tasted like watery salsa from a jar. The bathrooms were horrible and the place just looked dirty and run down. Staff wasn't super friendly. The only positive thing is the food came out fast. I've had way better mexican food in Cleveland where I live. I will not return here for lunch or dinner. read more

Friendly staff. Delivered our food in a timely manner. Warm food and impressive service.

Staying at the hotel next door and thought we had found a gem. I will not be mean. Ordered the chimichanga meal. The lettuce, canned beans and bland rice (which had to pay extra for) were edible. The chimichangas were left on the plate after one bite. While paying for "dinner" I showed my Texas license to the register lady, explained my inedible meal, and was told "no, it is not authentic Mexican food" even though the sign says it is. Very disappointing, not appetizing, uncomfortable seats and will never go back. read more

I was there with my grandmother and we both thought that the frozen margarita tasted like chemicals. We asked the waiter for a new flavor or a refund and after talking to the manager he said NO!!! It was also very bad salsa, so we ordered guacamole and a variety of chicken dishes. They will never get our business again. read more

If you wanna try one of the best margaritas, this is the place to do it. If you wanna get your moneys worth for a margarita, Casa Mexicana will fulfill your authentic margarita craving. service is top notch. I've never went without my glass full. I also love the complimentary chips and salsa that they keep full. Favorite thing on the menu are simply their tacos! Inexpensive and always delicious. Lime margaritas are my drink of choice. Get them frozen and they'll adjust how strong you want it. read more

We got the fajitas for two. Not the Tex-Mex style we are use to since were from Texas. But they were pretty tasty and quite filling. The chips and salsa were typical Mexican food. The salsa was the better of the two. The service was fairly prompt but severely dry. Not sure I would regular this place even if we lived here. But pretty good for being on the road traveling through this beautiful countryside!! read more

After numerous rail fanning trips to Bellevue, i finally got enough courage to try this place. Everything was fine. Lunch and a 16 oz draft beer for $9.11 and it was all good. I'll be a regular customer from now on. Don't worry about the condition of the outside sign - it doesn't reflect the restaurant's quality at all. Service was fast, and friendly enough. read more

Alright first of all Im letting donald trump know about this, this is american where american food should be served. I am okay with taco bell, but this this was absolutely horrible. The waiters, horrible. The food, horrible. The parking lot, horrible. The bathrooms were disgusting, it looked like someone vomited on the floor but in reality it was just a plate of the disgusting food read more
