Best Italian food in Boston bar none! We each had a plate of pasta, I had a the Fettuccini with Pesto Alfredo! After that we all split a Margherita pizza! It was also delicious but I suggest paying a bit more for the fresh mozzarella! Enjoy! read more

Casa Razdora by far the best quality Italian quick service restaurant in the Financial District. I am very surprised to see that few have commented on the quality of the sandwiches here. I have been working in the Financial District now for a while and I always had a craving for a real Italian hoagie. Casa Razdora's Italiano is the best I can find in the northeast compared to the hoagies I am used too from Philadelphia. They cut the meat and vegetables right there and the meats are top quality. Amazing prices for the quality, where around here "quality" is a little known term. I have yet to try the pasta but I hear its also unbelieveable. If you are in the Financial District while this restaurant is open you have to give it a try! read more

I tried the Home made Veal Meatballs with Chicken Parm and pasta and for the price they give you plenty of food. The place is small so it can be overwhelming it gets crowded around lunch time, but the staff is very efficient (while being nice) and the line moves. I was in the mood for a quick slice on my lunch break so I stopped in. The good in the display case looked and smelled delicious. The Slice of cheese I had on the other hand was not good. It was extremely greasy and the sauce had no flavor. It was a big disappointment based on all the positive reviews. The food is top notch - better than what one could expect at many high-end, upscale Italian restaurants. My friend and I shared the prosciutto, tomato, fresh mozzarella appetizer, I had bolognese sauce, my friend had carbonara, we both had left overs for lunch the next day. The prices are very affordable, especially given the size of the portions and the quality of the food. There is quite a long line at lunch, but it moves quickly. It is counter service only (with just a few tables, most orders are to go) and the service is excellent, too. Fast, friendly, helpful - seems to be a family run place; in any event, the staff are professional and it is very clear that they care about their food and their customers. read more

I so dearly wish this place were open outside of weekday lunch hours. I'm still working my way through the menu, but everything I've tried is fantastic. Sandwiches are large and under $10; think sub size. All meat is freshly sliced for each order. Manzo marinato is warm, almost sweet, marinated beef. Italian is a classic, and it's extremely well done here. Razdora is mozz, prosciutto, roasted red peppers -- always a winning combination. Bresoala was quite spicy, but I crave that sharpness sometimes. Pasta is delicious, though I think I would advise getting that during slightly off-hours, since they'll finish cooking it on a stove first for you and may take a few minutes longer than a sandwich. I have yet to try all 20-ish sauces, but it seems like the staff's most popular choice is Nonna, which is a red garlic sauce and completely worth it. Comes with a slice of focaccia to sop up whatever sauce you get. Aside from all that, it has a lovely authentic feel -- everyone behind the counter speaks Italian to each other. I think it's owned by an Italian couple, who generally alternate turns on the cash register. read more

They have about two dozen sauce choices to pair with made to order pasta. The gnocchis are delicious. I have gotten pretty bored with other food options in the area and was excited to try this place. I got the spinach and ricotta ravioli with an Alfredo sauce and really enjoyed it. Although the sauce and filling was great, the best part about the meal was the pasta. I had a taste memory from when I was little and my Italian great great aunt would make us homemade pasta. The pasta is thin and flavorful. This was the best meal out I have had out in quite a while. Since my pasta with bread stick and a drink only set me back a little over $10, I will definitely be back with friends. read more

This joint earns every one of these 5 stars. Went with the gf for lunch the other day. Line out the door, but they cranked it out like a line at the slaughter house. I went with the fusilli carbonara. It was fantastic. The sauce was rich and thick and creamy. The bacon pieces were cooked perfectly. I would have preferred my pasta a bit more al dente, but it was awesome! Big portion and came with a yummy piece of bread for cleaning up the sauce. GF had pumpkin tortellini with gorgonzola sauce. Her sauce was even richer and creamier than mine. You could really taste the pumpkin and they had crushed walnuts in the mix as well that went perfectly with the pumpkin. Both were fantastic. As good as the pastas were, I kept seeing everyone ordering the sandwiches for lunch. They were not only really big, but also look great. Someone ordered antipasta as well which looked fantastic. One new item I had not seen before was blood orange San Pelligrino. It was really refreshing on a hot day. Check this place out, it is really good. Only open for lunch Mon-Fri :(. read more

I'm really sorry to be writing this because I had really high hopes for this place. My colleague and I have a pretty good track record at visiting Triple D joints all over New England but this one definitely fell short of our expectations. It's in a cool part of town in a very small space. It was pretty crowded for lunch but that was expected as they are only open for lunch. It was pretty confusing and almost had the "Soup Nazi" feel to the menu and experience at the counter. I ordered a slice of pizza and a small meatball sub....leave me alone I was hungry!! I ordered that because I didn't have enough time to look the menu over before I got to the counter and didn't want to be "that guy" holding up the line. My colleague ordered what Guy Fieri showcased during his visit there and I'm sorry to say it was pretty boring. I also have to say that my pizza and meatball sub were also pretty mediocre. I really wanted to be writing a better review for this place but Im sorry to say its not worth it to me to go back with so many great other places to go in Boston. I think that this restaurant is over-rated. The food looks a lot better than it tastes. I have tried it about four times, and, each time, I tried something different. The menu on some items states that you will get roast potatoes and vegetables. They do not give you much vegetables - the carrots are thinly sliced as if they used a peeler - four/five thinly sliced carrots is not a portion of vegetables. read more

Have been anticipating this spot's opening since checking our there website. Ate there on Tuesday and it was great. I had the fresh made fusilli bolognese and it was perfect. The pasta was delicious and fresh. The bolognese was very tasty with lots of meat and still light enough not to weigh you down for lunch. It came with very tasty focaccia as well. The pizza looked very good too.. One of my fellow diners had the spaghetti putanesca he said it was "restaurant quality in a less formal setting."
