I was in the area this past Monday when I stumbled upon this spot. Small parking lot. It was cool spot. It was chill vibe with good customer service. It also had a crowd when I was there. I saw at least several different families. They have a nice patio area outside near the Main Street and on the side. They're all TVs outside. Plenty of seating inside and out. The birria tacos were fire. The meat was flavorful and tender. You get 4 four about $21. I really enjoyed them. And they give you a good portion of meat along with a nice size cup of consome. Absolutely love this place! They have the juiciest carnitas around. The green salsa has is just spicy enough for me (Im kind of a spice whimp) However my husband loves the spicy chili oil and all their soups. Everyone is very kind to us. Place is super clean. Even the bathroom. read more

First time back here in a long time. The a/c feels great, especially after the hot humid day that it has been. Resturant is clean and the waitress's are friendly and very quick with getting our drinks and chips and salsa's along with the menus. So let me start odd by saying I love eating and my reviews are just my opinion and I always recommend to still try it out your selves. Now this place is good and most of the employees are attractive. Some are ok at doing there job and fewer are amazing at it. The food is good. For the most part the flavor is on point and the environment is comfortable for the most part. There is something I do not like that the staff allowed when my lady and I were enjoying our meal and having a conversation, a gentleman with a guitar was playing out side for customers. Witch was good but as we were enjoying our meal and like others there laughing at the conversation we were having he decided to come in and start his singing in side the establishment. I was asked by an employee " is everything good"? And I replied that everything was going amazing until the gentleman came in and now we can't enjoying our conversation and meal due to us having to yell at each other to carry a conversation. She smiled and walked away, that was not ok if you ask me. The singing should be for the outside dining not the indoor. Besides that, few of the ladies are good for the eys and the food is good. Been here a lot of times over the past couple months. The Food is decent enough but the service is Horrible. The only waitress that ever gives is really good service is the taller one. Other than that it's always been more than 5-10 minutes from the moment we've sat down just to put a drink order in and be acknowledged while waitresses keep passing us by! One time a guy sat after us and got his service and food before we were even said hi to. This place right here the first time I went here it was a cold rainy spring day, and I got the shrimp soup. It was the most amazing soup that I've ever had in my life so good. In fact, I brought the broth home to have a second meal, adding my own shrimp at home. Recently, I was hosting a community event in West Long Beach and for the final day I ordered from there and it was absolutely amazing. She gets light beans though-- they really load you up on the beans, so use this wisdom wisely if you aren't into a lot of beans. Here's my thoughts on the food: Steak Burrito - the tortilla was excellent, the filling was rather plain, rice and beans. The meat was a huge disappointment as it was chewy and dry. Did not seem fresh. Steak Street Taco - not flavorful, again the meat was too chewy to enjoy. Tacos Camarones - the shrimp was excellent as was the sauce. I should have requested grilled bell peppers or none at all. The order came with a green salsa and a red salsa - I was not overly impressed by the heat or flavor.
