I came in around 8pm, not realizing the restaurant closed at 9. As I walked in, Michelle was actually on her way out for the day, but without hesitation she said, "I can take your order." She was incredibly kind and never once made me feel like a burden. I later found out it was her first day at the restaurant and her first job. She was quick, efficient, and handled everything with such professionalism. Jesse, who I believe was a manager, stepped in to help and was just as kind. He actually was the person training her. When I mentioned I'd had a really stressful day and asked if I could order a margarita while I waited, he told me to take my time and relax, and even asked about my day. It may seem like a small interaction, but their kindness genuinely made a world of difference to me. After weeks of stressful days, that was the first moment I felt a little relief. Michelle and Jesse were welcoming, helpful, and completely unbothered by helping me even so close to closing. Thank you both for treating a stranger with so much kindness. I won't forget it. As a live long fan of TexMex from south Texas, I appreciate a good down to earth restaurant that serves proper TexMex. We had some business in Conroe and we noticed this restaurant nearby and decided to give it a try. The restaurant is older but very clean and the staff were welcoming with a smile and seated us right away. The tables and chairs are retro, cushions worn but the patrons have smiles on their faces and all these things are a great sign of home style food. I loved the waitress who served us promptly and was very diligent about making sure our iced tea stayed in supply. Both green and red salsa with chips of good quality were placed on our table and our order soon followed. I had the lunch portion of beef enchiladas with rice and beans. My wife had the lunch beef Casadilla. Both were delicious and were of very good value for the price! Filling and satisfying. Thirty years ago when I visited Texas a lot and then lived for a short time, I lovED Casa Ole. Then it was good food and good value. Today, I saw this restaurant and wanted to go for lunch. I got the lunch fajitas and because it's Saturday there's an up charge. The size was pitiful. For 18.50, I don't think it was even one full chicken breast. And it wasn't that tasty - reminded me of the packaged chicken strips you can get in grocery store. Certainly not I remember. Dinner entree fajitas 26!! We were discussing some of our old favorites from years ago, before Yelp even existed. Casa Ole was one of the names we remember. We checked the internet to find only a couple of Casa Ole locations in our area are still open. We decided to seek this one out & it did not disappoint! I can't remember exactly which dinner my wife ordered, but it was a lot of food! I was surprised to see crawfish stuffed enchiladas on the menu, as I'm also a fan of Cajun food! It works great with Tex Mex! The portions were good, service was good & they kept the chips & 2 kinds of salsa coming. We enjoyed some margaritas with our dinner as well. The restaurant seemed clean & the staff is friendly & attentive! We will definitely be going back. I went for the Tex Mex, but it would be great if they expanded on the Cajun fusion! read more

Last night I ordered a family pack. Waited over an hour and still didn't get half of my order I understood it was Cinco de Mayo and expected a wait. The quality of food here has gone WAY down hill. My family would visit this restaurant at least 2 times a week... we would get the salsa to go and have it for a meal.... Not anymore! It's been years since I have been to a casa ole and it will probably be years until i go again. The portions have been cut in half while the prices have went up at least $3-$4 dollars per meal. Basic Mexican food experience - pretty good after all these years. Friendly staff. I don't drink, but I think they have good drink specials - they always offer and I instead get a diet cola. Was so thrilled to find that there was still a Casa Ole still around in Texas! We went to the Conroe location north of Houston and it was the usual old Casa Ole of awesome food and service! We didn't understand the other so-so reviews as they just were being silly! The food and service was perfect, and we asked for quite a few things and stayed awhile but our waiter didn't miss a beat! I was very disappointed when I went to Casa Ole on Sunday afternoon for a carry-out for two items we have had a dozen times before (cheese enchiladas and a chimichanga/beef) First I ordered 2 cheese enchiladas / they were very small, and the cheese was not even "melted". This location has stepped it up!! Been here a few times during the quarantine and this place has raised the bar where other Mexican reasturants have gotten worse since the virus. Casa Ole is a chain restaurant, as this one is in which I ate. Their salsa and green sauce are always the best. This restaurant served what tasted like stale chips. They make their own so mine somehow suffered this event. The enchilada dinner was very good and the Margarita tasted fine. The place was not full but service was slow. I got my meal five minutes before my Margarita arrived. I waited ten minutes for my check. Maybe it was just my first time visit. Good food, slow service. read more

This is for sure a timeless restaurant. I have memories from my childhood including this place and now I'm here enjoying the cuisine with my children.
