I'll give this place a 3.5. We came here to celebrate a friend's birthday and made reservations ahead of time. We had a large party and the tables were prepared for us ahead of time. Our servers were attentive and checked up on us throughout the meal to see if we needed anything. One thing that was a bit strange to me was that when a few of us arrived around 10 minutes late, instead of just bringing out more rounds of meats, the servers were already started asking us if there were specific meats we wanted when the newcomers had no idea what was available or had already been brought out. Despite us telling them to just keep bringing more rounds of meats out, they kept asking us each time for specific ones. Not only did this just make me feel rushed, this also resulted in some of us at the table missing out of some of the options that were even available that night and we ended up just cycling between pretty much the 3 meats we knew the names of. For example, our table never received any sausages. I noticed one of the servers with a sausage platter entered the room we were in several times during the meal but never once did he stopped by our table to offer us any. Additionally, I was a bit disappointed in the cuts I was receiving. Each time the servers came by, they would ask how would I like my meat. However, despite me telling them each time I would like a medium cut, there were multiple instances where I received medium rare to rare slices instead. I've been to other Brazilian steakhouses where they would specifically prepare the meats to how you would like instead of giving you whatever they had, so that was a bit disappointing to see here. Don't get me wrong. The meats themselves were delicious. I love the chimichurri sauce and I enjoyed the honey cheese bread that the servers brought out at one point during the meal. It was just some things here and there that I wish were better. Outside of that, I was also happy with the salad bar. My only suggestion would be to include a non-seafood soup option as well. I'm a huge soup fan and sadly they only had clam chowder. read more

First visit here and we thoroughly enjoyed both the food and service. Went for The Full Experience with free dessert (I think only on Monday nights) WOW! So much food, beautiful salad bar presentation, soup and fried rice behind the salad bar. Each of the waitstaff were very helpful, they all shared the tables and as such, we had undivided attention. This is a review that has escaped my mind every time, so I finally wanted to write it! We frequently dine at Casa do Brasil since we live in the nearby neighborhood. I can honestly say that there are few restaurants in this city that offer the level of unparalleled service that this one does. They have the most attentive and kind staff, and I look forward to our every visit. Beyond the impeccable service, the food is always spectacular. The attentiveness of the staff ensures that if there's anything wanting at the table, it's promptly brought over, at the temperature desired, often with incredible memory by the staff. It's also a beautifully done space. The lighting is gorgeous, and the dining rooms manage to feel simultaneously intimate and spacious, no matter where you're seated. The Black Cherries Old Fashioned is my favorite (balanced and sweet) and they have a fantastic salad bar on any lighter days. But of course I'm always ready for the bottom sirloin! The service was absolutely amazing. You can tell it is really a group effort, and a focus. At one point our son dropped my wife's fork on the ground, it was replaced in a matter of seconds. Every server was so attentive to detail and incredibly professional. WOW, wow!!! I was in town on a business trip, and we wanted a nice dinner on our last night... and boy did this hit the spot!!! We had reservations, which I recommend for a weekend. Upon entering, we were warmly greeted, and immediately sat. Service was very prompt - all the of wait staff work as team, and check on your regularly. Unfortunately, I dropped my napkin a few times, and they brought me a new one each time - often times before I finished picking it up. Truly 5 Star service!!! The food was amazing as well - I enjoy Brazilian Steakhouses... I am a fan of the variety of offerings vs having one huge steak. Everything was seasoned and cooked to perfection. The cold/salad bar had enough offers where our non-meat eater was satisfied as well. If I am ever back in town, I will definitely make it a priority to dine here again. read more

What a treat and they got the meats. I saw my friend go to Casa do Brasil and immediately got jealous, and it wasn't too far away and so I had to try it. Excellent food and atmosphere. Atmosphere: Fancier end Brazilian steak house. Certainly no need to dress up but it wouldn't be out of place here, which is reflected in the service too. Food: Every table gets these delicious Brazillian Cheeseballs that are melt in your mouth treats. Careful not to over fill on them as tempting as it maybe because the rest of the food is excellent. Ironically I only tried a few meats but the big winner for me was the seabass. I went in thinking, if they can pull of seafood well then their steak will be excellent for next time. Was not disappointed as the fish had an excellent wood char taste. Service: Excellent service, always attentive and even more so if you're doing the steakhouse buffet since they always have someone circling around. Wow! This place is nothing short of phenomenal ! It was so easy to call and get a reservation for same day seating. I absolutely loved this dining experience last week with my family! I have to say everything was delicious and the service was excellent. I loved the variety in the meat cuts they offer here. I do prefer this Brazilian restaurant compared to the one we tried in San Antonio! They had all our favorites, picanha, the roasted pineapple with cinnamon, yucca and polenta fries, a sweet array of option for the salad bar! Lots of options for everyone. Almost too many it's slightly confusing. There are 4 food "levels", varying in what you are offered. Theres the full experiencing, executive, salad and protein and salad option. Two of us got the salad and protein option but were offered some of the items on skewers while the executive lunch person didn't get offered the same or vice versa. It was very confusing to understand what is included and what wasn't to be honest. Besides the confusing offerings everything else was great. The salad bar offerings are plenty and there is also soup, rice and beans. There were varying items in the salad bar too like cheese, bacon, veggies and some fruits. The set up here is a little small as there are different rooms and depending on the room you're in the experience might be a bit different. The tables are kind of close together in the room we were in. Luckily we had a bit more room around our table than others. My daughter who was 2 was free and she got to try a little bit of everything. Of course in toddler fashion she only likes the French fries that one of the severs offered to bring out to her. It was clearly made to order because they were hot which was nice. The side dishes are very typical of other Brazilian steakhouses and the bread was delicious. The staff was very generous with the sides always refilling and replacing. They were on top of clearing the plates and getting new dishes. Almost to the point I wonder how mush dish washing happens there. We also got the chocolate cake and it was delicious. Toddler approved. Definitely a longer lunch experience as you are waiting for the different types of meats to come around. However some of the staff would ask which you are looking for and they'd bring it directly to you. Overall I'd recommend and come back again. First off, the service was amazing. The servers were extremely attentive and very polite. It was like a carousel of attentive staff members were making sure we were taken care of. We never had an empty plate or had to wait for meat to hit our plates. Second, the meats were exquisite. If you are like me and you love a good Brazilian steakhouse, this Austin location is for you. It can be very hard to cook bottom sirloin correctly, but at this location, it's almost the prize. (Next to the Picanha) All the meats came out sizzling hot with a beautiful salty crust on the outside, juicy medium-rare on the inside. The meat was seasoned to perfection. The drinks were really good. I had the coconut Caipirinha and it was very yummy! The balance in my drink was perfect, you could still taste the Brazilian cachaça. The dessert selection was awesome. It was my birthday and I enjoyed a tres leches cake which absolutely hit it out of the ball park. The ambience was great, really loved the Christmas music, the establishment was super clean upon entering, which made me feel comfortable. I've never had another Brazilian steak house that's on par with Fogo de Chão,(That's our go to), but this place just took our business. Most definitely recommend!!! I was super excited to try another Brazilian steakhouse besides Fogo De Chao. I got the full on meat experience, and tried all of their different cuts. The service was very attentive, which was good; however, I did see a pair of tongs fall on the floor, and a staff member picked it up and put it right back into the serving dish which was gross. For the meat, I did feel like some of the pieces were either very salty or had no flavor at all. I usually ask for the beef rib, and use this as a measure for how good the meat is. I was extremely disappointed, I got a few slices of the beef rib, and it was super tender but super fatty, and it had little to no flavor. Honestly, I had a difficult time eating the beef rib, which was sad. I definitely will stick to what a know and head back over to Fogo. read more

It's not a bad downfall to their margarita, and it was delicious after a short time of waiting the reservation was time sat down and basically got the quick instructions and then shortly after it was bombarded with a carousel of different meat options that's not a complaint that's love. I really enjoyed every bit of the excitement in this place the environment was great. The people that was working on the staff were awesome and very caring and, willing to give you whatever that you asked for loved it. Aside from the cheese bread and maybe one or two dishes, there's little that actually feels Brazilian here. It's not that the salad bar or the meats are bad. They're not. But there's little that is interesting about them. It's a kind of buffet you would see in a 3 1/2 star hotel or something like that. And the main event - the meat, the whole reason you'd come here - was underwhelming. Not a single cut stood out or left me wanting more. None were seasoned properly. Is it terrible? No. If this were the 80s, it might have passed for "fine dining." But in 2025, it's a letdown. read more

The salad bar had a lot of great salad options and sides, including candied bacon which was delicious. Not only did they bring over lots of great meats but grilled pineapple and fried cheese with honey. Wow! Nothing wasn't absolutely great. (Except the chicken. I don't know why I bother to get chicken at a Brazilian steakhouse, it's a waste of stomach space.) The service was also very good, very attentive. This is just my 2nd time to a Texas steakhouse. First time was in Hawaii, Texas de Brazil. This place tastes so much better than that. We were seated promptly at our reservation time. When we were sat, the server explained how things worked and was very detailed and complete. Once we got our salad, the meats started coming. Everything was so good! Even the chicken was juicy and tasty, not dry. My favorite was the lamb pop. So tasty and juicy! After eating till we were full, we were ready to get the check, but had to take a peek at the dessert menu. Ordered the creme brulé, chocolate cake and their signature cheesecake that came with a flambé. Came here with friends for a fun get together over dinner and we had a great experience! We had a reservation and were seated in a beautiful part of the dining room. Service was amazing, they were very attentive to us and thankfully less attentive when we had the red side up on our cards. The waiter sold me on the Brazilian Lemonade and it was delicious! Creamier than you'd expect, but delicious nonetheless. The meat was delicious as well, but my stand out favorites had to be the Picanha and filet mignon. The mashed potatoes were so soft and I'm a huge fan of their garlic bread. Love that there's plenty of parking and it's close to the Domain. Oh, this was a great place to have make sure you don't eat our before you go. The food was absolutely amazing. The weight staff was just attentive all over you almost too much but not the dessert was just to die for my party had three or four different desserts so they were all just as good. The atmosphere was amazing and the manager is right on top of every table running around on the weight staff, the expense was high but worth it absolutely worth it. I would recommend the smoked old-fashioned. I got the black cherry and it was amazing. They smoked it at my table. I'll post a picture.
