Artichoke Heart (Happy Hour) best dish on happy hour

We were planning to have dinner at another place in this strip mall plaza when we saw this place at our old favorite Sweets Raku spot and decided to give it a try instead and we were both glad we did. Same cozy space as before but redecorated to have that Spanish bar ambiance. Service was excellent and the food was one of the best tapas we've had in awhile. They have a happy hour menu Tuesday thru Saturday from 6p-9p and we tried every item on it and everything was amazing including the $5 house wines. The spanish octopus was so tender and full of flavor and the bacon wrapped dates were excellent. The basque cheesecake and flan were a great end to this meal. Can't wait to go back and try the rest of the menu!

2nd time here. This place is perfect for drinks and small bites. Small intimate restaurant with about 10 bar seats and 3 counter tables. The happy hour menu includes 7 small plates and a few wine and beer all for $5 each. A good place to hang out with a small group of friends.

Iscah took great care of us. The food, hospitality, and ambiance were unmatched. The experience was truly curated and they even have darts.

Very nice place. Staff was very polite and attentive. All the dishes were on point and worth the wait. Of all the restaurants I've been to, I have to say they have the coolest and cleanest bathroom. Will definitely be back in the near future.

Craving pintxos and Txakoli!!! Needing a return trip to San Sebastián!!! Glad we have a Spanish tapas place in Vegas that satisfies the cravings. Not mad on taking over Sweets Raku (ok maybe a little). Very warm and cozy place. Service was great though out. People still mistake the place as Raku and Sweets Raku. Love to innovative Spanish tapas. The pintxos abd tapas were really good. Each has great flavors that brings me back to Spain. We tried most of the menu. We like almost everything we ate except the green mussels. Some of our favorites are the pintxos- foie gras, tomato and jamon, croquettas, and pulpos They have a selection of Spanish wine. Love my Txokoli- sparking dry white wine. Our waitress was trying to pour it locals in the Basque region in Spain. Make room for dessert- the basque cheesecake was good but not close to La Vina but will do. Sure do miss Sweets Raku. lol Will definitely come back and try the rest of the menu. FYI. They still have the same bathroom as sweets Raku.

Stopped by this place for drinks and appetizers before dinner. If you've been to San Sebastián Spain, then you will know what this place is all about. Drinks, small bites, and just plain goodness! Small cozy space with bar seating and a few tables. The service is great and really friendly. After 9:00 pm is happy hour, so 20% off everything!!! Really liked the foie pinxtos, seared Iberico pork, croquettes, but everything was good. So good, we came back the same day after dinner, to have more drinks, dessert and anothee foie gras pintxo!

I heard they are the only restaurant in Vegas that serves Spanish-Japanese cuisine so I had to check them out. But what exactly is Spanish-Japanese cuisine? The first impression when I entered is that It feels like a bar and izakaya combined -modern vibes with the welcoming atmosphere of an izakaya. (Although there are still lingering memories of the dessert bar that it used to be) They were offering $5 happy hour wine and tapas so we started with those. The jamon croquetas had a lot of flavor, the truffle potatoes were delicious, the herring is like sashimi European style. The couple beside us ordered something sizzling and the chef started explaining that it's a wagyu hamburg steak with Spanish Sherry sauce sauce, and watching the couple react to their first bite convinced us to order the same thing, and we're so glad we did because this is one of the best things we've had all year. The chef suggested pairing it with a Spanish red wine, and it definitely elevated the experience. We decided to order a cheese board just talk to the chef about food the rest of the night, and he made us feel so welcome and at home. We ended the night with a basque cheesecake with manchego cheese and it was the perfect conclusion to our meal. I would say this is a spot if you want to relax, have a glass of wine or coffee, and try some tapas. We'll definitely be back to try their iberico katsu, Japanese Paella, and affogato.

From the jump, everything just clicked. The pacing felt natural, nothing rushed, nothing forgotten. You could tell there was intention behind the experience, but it never felt forced or overly polished. Just... dialed in. As it was a bit of a slower early evening, chef/owner Justin came to check in several times to see how we were doing and provided explanations of the food and the idea behind each bite. This not just dinner...it was an experience. I went all in on the menu and I'm glad I did, because this kitchen is not playing around. There's a confidence here that shows up on every plate. But a few dishes absolutely ran the table. The foie gras is rich in the way you want it to be, but balanced enough that you don't feel weighed down after a few bites. The wagyu carpaccio is ridiculous, melts instantly and somehow still feels light. And the toro crudo... that one didn't stand a chance. Silky, clean, just enough citrus and heat to keep it interesting. It's the kind of dish where you finish it and immediately wish you hadn't shared. And then there's the ensalada de naranjas. I ordered it three times, which honestly says everything. It shouldn't be the dish you keep thinking about, but here we are. The frisée and fried kale bring texture, the manchego gives it that salty edge, the candied walnuts add just enough crunch. But the oranges are unreal. Sweet in a way that almost doesn't make sense, no bite, no bitterness, just pure citrus perfection. You can tell they're something special, not the kind of thing you find just anywhere. What I appreciated most is that nothing felt like filler. Seafood, meat, vegetables, every dish had a purpose and actually delivered. It's rare to go through that much of a menu and not find a weak spot, but they pulled it off. And the service matched the food. Attentive, sharp, and genuinely welcoming without hovering or making it feel like a performance. The kind of service that makes the whole night flow without you even noticing it. This is the kind of place you leave already planning your next visit, trying to decide if you reorder your favorites or pretend you have self control and try something new. Either way, it's awesome.

We thought perfect because we wanted to try everything anyways. The courses flowed nicely and we were rarely without a fresh plate or food in front of us. The staff was super polite and the chef came around at the end of dinner to talk and asked us how we liked the food. We reordered some our favorites, and left stuffed to the gills. We are all big eaters, and while it is smaller bites, there is plenty of options and chances to order. We left very content. They have a pretty good all you can drink option as well. If you plan on having more than 2 glasses of sangria, might as well get it as it's cheaper. The food largely delivers, but the ambiance left me wanting more. For a concept with so much cultural richness to draw from, the space feels like a missed opportunity. The one exception is the "e" room, an intimate 9-seat chef's experience that is creatively and beautifully decorated. I peeked in but didn't dine there as it runs around $300 to $400 per person. We started with the manchego, and it set a great tone. The raw sheep's milk flavor is tangy and bright, and the young, creamy texture pairs beautifully with the Marcona almonds. Simple and well executed. The Bikini de Jamón y Queso Manchego was one of the highlights of the night. It's a pressed sandwich of Serrano ham, Manchego cheese, and caramelized onions, served with a honey mustard sauce on the side that is excellent. Sounds simple, tastes remarkable. The Cono de Sobrasada is a cute little bite that comes in a crispy brik pastry cone filled with sobrasada Ibérica, a hint of goat cheese, and a drizzle of honey. The honey is essential here because the sobrasada is bold and intense on its own. It's a fun tapa but I expected a little more from it. For tapas, the Berenjenas Fritas a la Malagueña is a must order. Crispy fried eggplant paired with a light yogurt, lemon, and honey espuma that hits a perfect balance of salty and sweet. Don't skip it. The undisputed star of the night was the Gambas al Ajillo. Shrimp sautéed in olive oil, garlic, and chili peppers with an aroma that pulls you in before the plate even lands on the table. Mouthwatering from start to finish. We closed with the Tarta de Queso, a Basque style cheesecake made with goat cheese, finished with honey and salt. I appreciated the concept and I knew going in that this would be nothing like a traditional cheesecake. That said, I've had better versions of this dish elsewhere. This one was slightly overbaked and a touch dry, and the flavor didn't quite reach the depth it promised. Overall a memorable Spanish dinner with some real standouts. Lean into the tapas, order the gambas without hesitation, and save room for the Bikini. For the location and the caliber of the concept, $120 for two without alcohol feels like a fair deal on the Strip.

We visited the location on Hughes, which was closer to the strip, but you still need a ride. The restaurant is large, like a Macaroni Grill, with lots of tables, plenty of two-tops. We tried not to compare it to the tiny tapas hole-in-the-wall places in Madrid and Barcelona. We had a reservation, but didn't need one on this Thursday at 6:30. We stood at the host stand for more than 5 minutes as there was no one there. When the hostess arrived, she sat us right next to another couple, you know where there are a bunch of two-tops against a wall with a long bench seat? It was odd, given that there were SO many other available tables. We ordered a pitcher of the red sangria, which was good. I don't know how many glasses there were, but more than two each. Maybe between two and three? Here's what we ordered (unfortunately, we had a bit of a late lunch so we weren't very hungry): Manchego and apple salad--I liked the ideas of the flavors together more than the result. It was fine, but my bites had too much cheese. May have just been the one we got. Bacon wrapped dates--these were really good! The bacon wasn't too fatty. A crisp almond inside. Yum! Camarones al ajillo--this was spectacular! Similar to garlic shrimp we had on a food tour in Madrid. Perfectly cooked shrimp with fried sliced bits of garlic in a garlic sauce. Dip the bread in it! You won't regret getting this dish! It's almost a reason to come here. Service was very fast! So fast that we were in and out in less than an hour. My conclusion--if this restaurant was down the street from my house, I'd frequent it with friends. I'm sure there's more to try that's really good and our appetite was part of the problem. But not worth the cab fare from the strip.

It's the kind of lineup that genuinely makes you curious to try everything. However, while the potential for a 5-star experience is clearly there, the execution still feels like it's chasing that final "je ne sais quoi." The Highlights: Gambas al Ajillo: Absolutely fantastic. The prawns were expertly cooked, and the brown butter confit garlic provided a rich, perfect complement. Wagyu Burger: Once the kitchen nailed the temperature, this was top-notch. It's a standout dish when executed correctly. The Misses: Consistency: On the first visit, seasoning felt sparse across the board and the empanadas cried out for more sauce options. This time, the pendulum swung the other way with a slightly overcooked and oversalted scallop. Technical Execution: We had to send the burger back; it arrived medium-well despite a medium-rare request. The "Fries": The menu lists truffle fries, but what arrived were essentially homemade chips. While tasty, they don't quite hit the mark if you're expecting a true fry texture. The restaurant is clean, the vibe is right, and the menu is creative enough to keep me coming back. They are so close to being a premier Summerlin destination. Once they tighten up the kitchen consistency and fine-tune those minor execution errors, they'll more than likely hit that 5-star mark.
