    Premium omakase
    Ryan G.

The service was great and so was the food. I've wanted to try this place for a while and it didn't disappoint. The omakase was a nice combination of their best dishes to try. It ranged across acidic, spicy, rich, fresh, grilled and progressively shifted flavors from seafood to beef.

We discovered this restaurant shortly before we left Vegas in 2022, and the food was so amazing I decided to celebrate my birthday here this year. The staff is simply incredible. They made my birthday dinner special. My recommendations: - Salmon Belly - Teramoto Scallop Sashimi - Grilled Squid If you like vibrant flavors, and dishes made with love, I highly recommend giving this place a try. A true Vegas gem!

Celebrated my birthday with family. Chef Owner Kevin and his all star team made the dinner very special. Food is always perfectly prepared and served with an attention to details. Sauces, dressings are fresh, zesty and perfectly complimentary to dishes. I love the Asian fusion cuisine and we mixed together Japanese dishes with steak and meat items. The black miso cod, and the filet with bone marrow are spectacular. Treat yourself to an elevated yet casual dining experience at a great value. You won't be disappointed

Late Night plus Happy Hour - a win! This place has a dog friendly patio and is very welcoming! The patio is enclosed with greenery and it shields you from the parking lot so the ambiance is really nice. With the weather cooling down (Sept) - outside is a great place to sit. All the menus are online so you simply scan the QR code on the table to see what you'd like. The Happy Hour menu has a lot of great items. We tried several apps: Gyoza - Big, tender and juicy black angus eat inside. The app comes with four. It was delicious. Edamame - Classic, salted, what you would expect. Beef Tacos and Salmon Tacos - Both are on Happy Hour and they are tiny tacos in a fried wonton shell. The flavor was really good! Black Cod Lettuce Wraps - The cod was freshly grilled and was so good! The lettuce wrap and all the components tasted so fresh. This is a must try. Yakisoba Udon - The noodles have a sweet flavor and is dressed with your protein choice and mushrooms. I tend to prefer a more salty type of noodle dish, so while I will not gravitate to this dish, I can see that it fits the bill for many others. Dessert - This was a really nice ending to our app-filled outing. It was light, refreshing and the mango and fruity flavor was really good. I liked that it wasn't overly sweet. The service was great - super friendly guy was our server and he loved the pups as well. He brought them water - really nice gesture. What I also loved was knowing that I was taking pictures of the food, he has a handy light ready to help light it up for you! So awesome!

Japaneiro is a nice little restaurant. The parking is decent in this strip mall. They have outside patio seating and indoor seating. They could accommodate a large 8+ group of people. House music. We ordered from the Late Night Happy Hour menu. 11pm - 2:15 am. *Scottish Salmon Sashimi: $3.50/1pc. Jalapeno Yuzu Soy | Minimum order 2pcs (4/5). Very fresh and decently cut. *Beef Kushi: $8.00/2pcs |NY Cut (4/5). Perfectly cooked to a medium rare and tender. *Rock Shrimp: $9.00, Yuzu Creme Spicy (4/5). Crunchy, deep-Fried to a golden brown with some heat! I didn't taste the yuzu as it was faint. But, it was a solid dish. *Black Cod Lettuce Wrap: $7.00 (4/5). Buttery and flakey as you would expect. This was delicious! The service was friendly, welcoming, and attentive. Come support your local business!

This spot is 4 minutes away. It was my co workers birthday and she wanted to celebrate her birthday. She been her many times. Fantastic. We came after work around 1215pm. We had the omakase of some sort. Service was fantastic, there was only like 3 tables on a wednesday evening. They typically close around 3am. Happy hour starts around 12am for you locals and late night shifters. This place is a fusion Japanese-French style cuisine. You can finally brag to your co workers and friends. I went to a french japanese place in vegas. (dont you sound fancy!) edmame: cooked to perfection seasoned with salt. Rock shrimp: probably my favorite appetizer there. Salmon sashimi: fresh and delectable. Salmon chips: everyone loves texture. Light and refreshing. Scallops: Nice touch on the sauce and the chili on top of the scallops. SO yum! Cold Sake: really clean and resfreshing for a really warm evening in vegas. Oysters: I usually don't eat oysters, but man this was so good! main event, the steak with bone marrow. OMG. This is what you come for, this is why you drive out of you way from the strip, to get something amazing AND LIGHT. Knock your socks off that you are not wearing with your slippers. That good. Bookmarked, saved. Plenty of parking. Come here now.

First time here and we weren't disappointed at all !! The Filet morning was cooked to perfection and the meat they used was good quality. Gyoza is good as well !! Service is exemplary, the waiter and make sure that our glass of water is refilled at all times. This is a small place only a few tables inside and it cannot really accommodate huge parties. I think in one table the maximum would be five people that they have an outside sitting where I used party can sit there not at this time though because it's way too hot outside The only thing with this place is it is expensive, although their filet mignon is not that bad for how many ounces you get and the taste of the food is good so you pay for the quality of food. We will be back to try other dishes !!

Another awesome birthday dinner. I don't remember how many times in a row I've gone on my bday but Japanerio never fails me.

I was really excited to try this exclusive restaurant so we made a reservation for 2 and were seated quickly. There's only about 4-5 tables inside so make sure to reserve ahead of time. We got the steak and chicken, but I don't know if the cost justifies the taste for me. Quite a small restaurant with a surprisingly casual vibe

I walked in with a high expectation after reading good reviews but it was just okay. I was disappointed by the chicken dish. It was dry and the sauce tasted exactly like the kewpie sesame dressing which I thought was too sweet to go with jidori chicken. Maybe I just didn't order the right things. My friend had the steak which was good. The sea bass appetizer was okay, too. It just wasn't mind-blowing or spectacular. Service was good. Each seating is sectioned off so you get a lot of privacy. Ample free parking in front of the restaurant.

I've been slacking on checking out all of the izakayas around town, but sooner or later I had to Japa-long over here. Japaneiro, likely a wordplay name inspired by something too capsaicin-y for me, is a pretty cozy (read: small) restaurant in the corner of some plaza on Warm Springs and Tenaya. As far as the southwest part of town goes, it's basically the middle of nowhere. My friend wanted to meet at 11-ish, and happy hour here starts at 11pm, which is probably why I actually chose this spot over a few others which I was mulling over. When I arrived, they only had one other group, so I had no problem getting seated. They provide a QR code at the table that links to a web page with their full menu, including the happy hour. Eventually, we figured out our order, placed it, and got the food pretty quickly. Hokkaido Scallop Sashimi ($14.00 happy hour): not an exceptional start. The scallop was tasty, but I didn't really pick its flavor up on the first bite since the jalapeño was overpoweringly spicy. The yuzu soy was nice though. Scottish Salmon Sashimi ($3.50/pc HH): same accoutrements as the scallop, but the size of the salmon makes the jalapeño much less impactful. Tender and silky though, as you expect from salmon sashimi. Rock Shrimp ($9.00 HH): crispy, battered goodness with a spicy aioli. This is so simple but so very satisfying. Butter Lettuce Cups ($7.00/2 pc each order HH): served with Romaine lettuce for some reason, not butter lettuce. Fortunately, all three proteins satisfied - the crispy battered Chilean Seabass, the sweet and savory Black Cod, and even the Sashimi blend with its delicious sauce which I found oddly similar to a sweet vinegary salad dressing I've had. Tacos ($5.00/2 pc each order HH): served on a not so satisfying wonton shell. It simply wasn't airy or crispy enough in any of the tacos I tried. The salmon and tuna were forgettable and not sauced, while the beef was actually a pretty tender and flavorful steak. It's good enough that I recommend getting the beef taco or perhaps another beef item; I'm thinking a skewer next time. Edamame with Truffle Oil ($6.00 HH): charred on the outside, served hot, and not completely drenched with that truffle oil. It actually works really well, especially when you get that hit of the coarse salt in a bite. Matcha Ice Cream ($4.00): I just had to get a dessert, and unfortunately they said they were out of hojicha. The texture was a little icy at times, but the matcha flavor was distinct and present in every bite. Japaneiro is pretty far from me, but I would consider returning to Japaneiro for certain happy hour items, or to try their more splurgy items at a more reasonable hour. I did get a great sampling of their happy hour, but I do feel that I only just scratched the surface of their fusion offerings.

One of my favorite restaurants for dinner! We've been here for a couple years now and haven't had a bad experience. The food is always consistently good and our food comes out fast. We always get the NY Strip Steak, Truffle Bone Marrow and Beef Gyoza!

Had a chance to try January special 6 courses and didn't disappoint! All items were so flavorful. Chef was there at the restaurant to ensure us a good time. Our server was so attentive by kept our water filled and make sure we enjoyed our time. I wish for a little more decoration on the table or all around but the tasty foods had already made up for it! Enjoy my photo and video because what you see cant even compare to how yummy everything! You have to check this place out. Locals kept secret!

We started with the lumpiang ubod, which was freshly made and tasted exactly how I remember it. The sauce was spot on and really brought everything together. For mains, we had the kare kare and pork sisig. The kare kare had a perfectly balanced peanut sauce and was loaded with bok choy, eggplant, sitaw, and plenty of meat. The tripe was well-prepared, tender, and didn't overpower the dish at all. The pork sisig was done the traditional way--nice and crispy with lots of porky bits, topped with a fried egg, and served sizzling. The slight heat from the sili gave it just the right kick. We also ordered a sago't gulaman, which came with red gulaman since they were out of the black. Still, it was refreshing and paired really well with the meal. That said, the bao sliders were delicious, the steak tartare was interesting. The pork jowl was very tasty and the short rib looked very good.
