We've been longtime Cartier clients and have purchased many pieces over the years from different boutiques, so I've come to appreciate the level of service and attention that makes the Cartier experience so special. I visited this boutique this week to purchase a gift for my husband's cousin's 30th birthday and had the pleasure of working with Charlene. She was exceptional: warm, gracious, attentive, and incredibly knowledgeable. I had already decided on a bracelet but wanted to see it in the different materials and colors available before choosing the right one for the recipient. Charlene patiently walked me through the options, never rushed the experience, and made the entire visit feel effortless and enjoyable. I was genuinely surprised to see some of the negative reviews for this location, as my experience was quite the opposite. I felt welcomed and well cared for from the moment I arrived. The service was attentive, thoughtful, and exactly what I've come to expect from Cartier. Charlene took care of every detail, including beautifully wrapping the gift and making sure I had everything I needed before leaving. TLDR: Teresa is awful. Buy another brand. 0 stars if possible. I get that great customer service is very rare nowadays but I did not expect horrible customer service at Cartier. Shopping for your future wedding bands is supposed to be an exciting moment so you would think she would at least put some effort. Teresa was just straight up rude, condescending, and unprofessional. This associate kept making snarky comments at us like she was above us when we inquired to see certain prducts and asked questions. "You should've done your own research before coming." Well, why do you think we came in person? To do our research and try on stuff before purchasing. 0 out of 10 would not recommend Cartier to anybody. If you ever do take a risk at this location, just make sure you ask to not work with TERESA. She is the Asian woman with colored hair and crooked teeth in case there are multiple workers with that name there. We continued to be polite and be the professional ones as customers even when we had every right to be rude back to her. Most likely the type of worker who would only be respectful to you if you are a confirmed buyer. Overall, the standard at this establishment is extremely low if this is how one associate represents this brand. Hopefully they can provide some training or something. I cannot express my disappointment enough. Only positive note is the worker opening the door and greeted us. He was cool. Maybe make that man a sales associate. This is overdue review of when I was gifted a necklace. This happens every single time: they don't care after you have purchased it. They won't care all the more if you didnt purchase it from the SA whom you are met with when you re-visit for service. But this is observed across most luxury boutiques that are on commission, even in Cartier. I had to leave my brand new necklace twice because the SA didn't bother looking into the way I wanted to resize my piece. I was just lucky to have found this out because it always felt off every time I wore it. He didn't say a single apology. Oh well, he never says "hi" too, can't expect him to say sorry. This was my first absurd experience from Cartier, but not the last. I should have known better but learned it the hard way after purchasing a couple more from him. We went to the store today to pick up an order I purchased specifically as a birthday gift for my husband. I understand that it is "just a pen," but the issue was never the item itself or the price. It was the experience and the fact that a very simple request was completely overlooked. When I placed the order, I clearly explained several times that the pen was going to be a birthday gift and specifically asked if it could please be gift-wrapped. My Sales Associate, Mailyn, confirmed that it would be. I even texted her the day before our pickup to confirm again, and she assured me it would be taken care of. I also had a personal letter that was supposed to accompany the gift. When we arrived, Mailyn was not working, so Marco assisted us. I had a fussy baby with me, so I stepped outside and left my husband inside while the order was being retrieved. I was confident everything had been arranged as requested. Instead, my husband came out holding only the pen and the receipt. There was no gift wrapping, no bag, and even the personal letter was missing. The most upsetting part is that it completely ruined the surprise of my husband receiving his birthday gift. I had specifically made these arrangements because I wanted him to have the experience of receiving and opening a beautifully presented gift. Instead, he saw the actual pen before I even had the chance to give it to him as a gift. That moment cannot be recreated. My husband even asked me to request a bag because we had several things with us and were worried the pen could get misplaced. I went back inside and explained to Marco that the order was supposed to be gift-wrapped and that I also had a letter for it. I showed him the messages between Mailyn and me confirming the request. Rather than simply apologizing and correcting the oversight, he appeared annoyed and responded, "What do you want me to do? You want me to wrap gift wrapped it?" At that point, I felt extremely uncomfortable and embarrassed because other customers and employees were around, and the interaction made me feel as though I was being difficult for simply asking for something that had already been agreed upon. I ultimately stepped outside and had my husband wait inside while the gift was finally wrapped. I am sharing this feedback because I genuinely hope the store can address this type of interaction with its staff. It was my first time at this Cartier boutique after the remodeling the other day, because I have been eyeing the Panthere de Cartier watch for a while. I wanted to splurge on a purchase for my 40th birthday and though I have few items from Cartier Love collections that I wear everyday, I feel like purchasing a watch from them, for me, is my rite of adulthood lol! This is my hard earn money spent on a luxury item that I chose to do, versus to invest in stocks! LOL.... Janie D. gave a great overview of the background of Cartier, so I only want to focus on my experience. I booked an apportionment for a Friday night at 8pm, because I didn't want to risk having to waste time waiting around. I got Suzanne and she made the whole experience so memorable! I came with my cousins and their little toddler son. They brought my nephew juice and a Cartier coloring book, adorable! She asked if we wanted any drinks and since we just came from a great sushi dinner, we couldn't drink or eat anymore. I asked to try on the Panthere two tones and was definitely more taken away by the Santos. Partly because Suzanne was wearing one herself, the all silver one with diamonds. So I also asked to try on the Santos. Santos I believe was originally made for man, so the sizing are bigger. The small Panthere is very tiny. So in the photo, the Small Santos and Medium Panthere are actually comparable in size, and they are both the same price. Suzanne brought out all the sizes I was debating for me to try on, to make sure I made the right decision. She was super professional and patient with me and gave me very honest opinion and the whole time, did not make us feel rushed at all, even though we became the only one left in the store since they closed at 9pm. In the end, I must say, I thought it was always going to be the Panthere, just not sure the size. However, the more I wore the Santos, the more I fell in love with it. In the end, I was so happy to go with the Small Santos for my small wrist. The whole experience was smooth and pleasant. I also tried on some Juste un clou earrings but I was too tired and sleepy to ponder more, so I will be back soon. But for now, so happy with my purchase and you better ask me what time it is all the time now because I will tell you what time it is all the time now!! read more

Despite there being multiple sales associates, no one greeted us or offered to help. After finally getting someone's attention, I was able to try on a few rings, but I got the impression they had already decided we weren't serious buyers. When we were ready to purchase a cologne, we again had to ask for assistance. The associate asked a coworker if they could help us, they both laughed, and then said they would find someone else. It was incredibly unprofessional. I don't understand what was funny about that interaction? I'm already a Cartier client, but this experience was so disappointing that we decided to leave and simply place our order online instead. Been coming to this store since the days when I lived in the area. Service has always been great--that said, this is my go-to store in the US. Long story short, I picked up an item on the way from Taipei airport to Korea a few weeks ago and due to it being the airport, they couldn't adjust the length and advised me to do it at my home store. (only bought at the airport bc I'm cheap and I could save on tax...). I made the trek to the SCP location despite the one in BH being half an hour closer. Was nicely greeted by people as I walked in, then offered a chair/drinks by another lady as I was asked to wait for "the right person for my needs". Turned out to be Eddie. He was so friendly as he carefully measured my wrist twice and made sure everything was perfect. Loved chit-chatting with him. When the time came to pick up my item, I was sent a text msg. Got there.....right before closing time and was directed to Madison this time. She was just as nice~even offered me a little travel pouch to take. From start to finish their service was perfect and the experience was seamless. I can really attest to how much this location goes above and beyond for their customers as they had sent me via speedmail a package of their customized mints years back when I had casually mentioned that I love them...if thats not customer service, I don't know what is lol. read more

During my visit they have a temporary pop-up on first floor by the carousel, but their permanent location is on the second floor by the Macys. Cartier represents a timeless elegance. I have been wanting a piece for a long time, and finally made the move on the actual day of my birthday. You are able to make a reservation if your visit is planned, otherwise there might be a wait since they limit their store to a certain amount of customers. It was a quick wait and the Allen helped me with my purchase. He asked if there was anything I was looking for in particular, and I already knew I wanted the Gold Juste Un Clou Bracelet. I just didn't know what size. Allen let me try it on one that was an okay size but I wanted more space so I got a bigger size. If there was any doubt in my mind, the minute the bracelet came onto my wrist I was 100% sold. Like done, ready to check out. Allen even offered to let me keep it on and enjoy it right away. When I really appreciated and liked about Allen was that I didn't feel like he was rushing me. He welcomed me to try on other pieces even knowing I had already decided on what I wanted. I also really liked the Love Bracelet... NEXT!! I'll be back. So Allen welcomed me to a comfortable sofa check out area. Allen was so polite. He always handed me things with both hands. Maybe I notice this because it is the respectful way to hand someone things in Asian culture. Like a one handed motion can be perceived as rude to some of the old school folks. I'm not that intense but when I see the two handed motion, I appreciate it. Also, I was given Perrier sparkling water. Upon payment, he saw that it was the actual day of my birthday, so he called for champagne and got me complimentary perfume samplers as a birthday celebration gift from the store. Aww I was so touched!! This was definitely a memorable birthday. I was encouraged to enjoy the amenities and relax. The packaging of everything was extremely thoughtful. I had a certificate of authenticity, a travel pouch fit for royalty and the box itself was wax sealed. Fancyyyyyyyyy!! There is also a lifetime warrantee on this product so I am able to come back for a shine anytime I'm at South Coast. So now that I have a taste... time to save up more money for the next piece. The customer experience you receive here is highly dependent on the SA you work with. Today I took the first available assistant, Robby (after a short wait outside). He was ... very to the point and rigid. No room for pleasantries (until I made the purchase - then he suddenly became very nice and personable). I should have waited for the SA a friend recommended (Victoria), but I had a wild hair and wanted a ring ASAP. The new boutique is gorgeous, but that's its only saving grace. I REALLY want to enjoy shopping at Cartier but so far the SouthCoast location leaves a bad taste in my mouth. If you have time, I would suggest Rodeo Drive instead. read more
