We went to the store today to pick up an order I purchased specifically as a birthday gift for my husband. I understand that it is "just a pen," but the issue was never the item itself or the price. It was the experience and the fact that a very simple request was completely overlooked. When I placed the order, I clearly explained several times that the pen was going to be a birthday gift and specifically asked if it could please be gift-wrapped. My Sales Associate, Mailyn, confirmed that it would be. I even texted her the day before our pickup to confirm again, and she assured me it would be taken care of. I also had a personal letter that was supposed to accompany the gift. When we arrived, Mailyn was not working, so Marco assisted us. I had a fussy baby with me, so I stepped outside and left my husband inside while the order was being retrieved. I was confident everything had been arranged as requested. Instead, my husband came out holding only the pen and the receipt. There was no gift wrapping, no bag, and even the personal letter was missing. The most upsetting part is that it completely ruined the surprise of my husband receiving his birthday gift. I had specifically made these arrangements because I wanted him to have the experience of receiving and opening a beautifully presented gift. Instead, he saw the actual pen before I even had the chance to give it to him as a gift. That moment cannot be recreated. My husband even asked me to request a bag because we had several things with us and were worried the pen could get misplaced. I went back inside and explained to Marco that the order was supposed to be gift-wrapped and that I also had a letter for it. I showed him the messages between Mailyn and me confirming the request. Rather than simply apologizing and correcting the oversight, he appeared annoyed and responded, "What do you want me to do? You want me to wrap gift wrapped it?" At that point, I felt extremely uncomfortable and embarrassed because other customers and employees were around, and the interaction made me feel as though I was being difficult for simply asking for something that had already been agreed upon. I ultimately stepped outside and had my husband wait inside while the gift was finally wrapped. I am sharing this feedback because I genuinely hope the store can address this type of interaction with its staff. She asked if we wanted any drinks and since we just came from a great sushi dinner, we couldn't drink or eat anymore. I asked to try on the Panthere two tones and was definitely more taken away by the Santos. Partly because Suzanne was wearing one herself, the all silver one with diamonds. So I also asked to try on the Santos. Santos I believe was originally made for man, so the sizing are bigger. The small Panthere is very tiny. So in the photo, the Small Santos and Medium Panthere are actually comparable in size, and they are both the same price. Suzanne brought out all the sizes I was debating for me to try on, to make sure I made the right decision. She was super professional and patient with me and gave me very honest opinion and the whole time, did not make us feel rushed at all, even though we became the only one left in the store since they closed at 9pm. In the end, I must say, I thought it was always going to be the Panthere, just not sure the size. However, the more I wore the Santos, the more I fell in love with it. In the end, I was so happy to go with the Small Santos for my small wrist. The whole experience was smooth and pleasant. I also tried on some Juste un clou earrings but I was too tired and sleepy to ponder more, so I will be back soon. During my visit they have a temporary pop-up on first floor by the carousel, but their permanent location is on the second floor by the Macys. Cartier represents a timeless elegance. I have been wanting a piece for a long time, and finally made the move on the actual day of my birthday. You are able to make a reservation if your visit is planned, otherwise there might be a wait since they limit their store to a certain amount of customers. It was a quick wait and the Allen helped me with my purchase. He asked if there was anything I was looking for in particular, and I already knew I wanted the Gold Juste Un Clou Bracelet. I just didn't know what size. Allen let me try it on one that was an okay size but I wanted more space so I got a bigger size. If there was any doubt in my mind, the minute the bracelet came onto my wrist I was 100% sold. Like done, ready to check out. Allen even offered to let me keep it on and enjoy it right away. When I really appreciated and liked about Allen was that I didn't feel like he was rushing me. He welcomed me to try on other pieces even knowing I had already decided on what I wanted. I also really liked the Love Bracelet... NEXT!! I'll be back. So Allen welcomed me to a comfortable sofa check out area. Allen was so polite. He always handed me things with both hands. He was ... very to the point and rigid. No room for pleasantries (until I made the purchase - then he suddenly became very nice and personable). I should have waited for the SA a friend recommended (Victoria), but I had a wild hair and wanted a ring ASAP. The new boutique is gorgeous, but that's its only saving grace. Had the worst experience with a male sale associate at this location. My mother came into the store before Christmas to buy my sister a watch. The sales associate that helped her was amazing and kind. My sister came back after Christmas to exchange it for a different watch. A different associate helped her and was rude from the beginning of the interaction. He told my sister that he placed her order and to wait for a text message confirming its arrival. Then proceeded to come in January and was again rudely told that if she didn't get a confirmation then they don't have it. She came in Valentine's Day to check on the long wait of the watch to later find out he never placed her order.
