Brad explained what they would do in detail, he did not try to push for more work than we needed like one other well advertised company did! The price was 25% lower too and they installed a tee so if needed in the future I could clean out the drain tiles because I have an iron problem called orcher bacteria. They even told me about a product called "orcher blocker " to help with the problem! The other guy saw the problem but wanted to replace all my drain tiles for tens of thousands of $$$ ! The repair guys put down plastic along the complete path through my hose , on the rugged stairs and across the basement to protect the brand new floor I am installing to the work site! They were efficient, quick , explained what and why they did it, they told me about the "orcher blocker" to help with the iron that has plugged my tiles , sump well and burned out plenty of pumps that I have agonized with for 35 years!! That I can't thank them enough for !!! So ABSOLUTELY recommend them and thank them all !!!!

They put down floor covering to make sure they were not tracking in anything while going I and out of the basement. They were clear with what they needed from us and communicated when they were leaving for lunch, for the day, etc. none of our cracks leak at all! I called several places and most of them were challenging to get ahold of at best (as is typical of contractors so....). Emerald called me back within a day of leaving a message with their main office that I was interested in an estimate for my project. We are arranged a time to have them come out for an estimate within a few days. The estimator arrived promptly (early in fact!) and was able to understand what I wanted to be done, explain the job to me, and offer me a fair estimate within 30 minutes. He was professional and courteous. I also let him know that I needed to get the work done ASAP and he assured me that was possible. No money had to be given upfront, which didn't make me feel confident that I would see him again, but I decided to go with them for the work anyway. What did I have to lose? Fast forward to about a week later when the owner (I believe) gave me a call asking for me to call back and set up a date for the coming week. Great! Called back and was able to set up a date for this week. Every interaction and phone call I had with Emerald was professional and helpful. They showed up this morning (9/13) at 6:15 AM. This is similar to the comment left by the other reviewer saying that they show up early. They do. The noise ordinance in my town is 7AM so this was technically a violation. There was enough noise that I couldn't get back to sleep myself. I did not remain at my residence while most of the work was being done, but I received a call around noon letting me know that my job was done. 6 hours?! Great! They called again and asked when I would be available for payment and decided how to handle that. I drove by the house on my lunch hour and was pleased with the results of the project. I had my doubts but was highly impressed. I would not hesitate to contact this company again, but I would definitely specify that I didn't work the work started before 7 AM so that we were not in violation. Everything else on the property was left immaculate, the initial job looks good, and everyone was friendly/helpful. I will update my review once I see how the job ages.

Better term, FANTASTIC!…read more I write about this company constantly. Whenever I use them. Their work/product is exceptional. They are not cheap - remember, you get what you pay for. This review pertains to the door that I had installed in February of this year. My beautiful, mid century door finished in a lovely red color. I loved this door so much that I ordered an identical twin, except in Bahama Blue, to be installed as my back door. My house has been rather peckish in the last few years. It shifts. Locks won't close. I'm not overly concerned however with highly optimistic plans of going away for a bit, I would like a door that locks tight. I called KAZ because my front door was becoming a bit of a hassle to lock. Kaz came, assessed the problem and fixed it. New dead bolt. Newly ground out hole for the dead bolt to go into - I know, technical term. Anyhow, no charge. This was not their problem. I told them about the "shifting" problem when I called. Customer satisfaction is their number one priority. Hopefully I have no new home projects other than the new back door. If I do, KAZ is on speed dial.
