Even through Covid, when the pool market was hotter than ever, Beauty made special efforts to make sure their regular customers were top of mind. We were interested in purchasing a fiberglass in ground pool and a spa and then doing all the install work ourselves. Mike was contracted to arrange the purchase through his supplier, Latham Pools, and the delivery of the pool/spa/equipment. During this time Mike provided his professional advice about what equipment was necessary and answered our questions about the installation process. Upon arrival of the pool/spa/equipment and receipt of final payment, Mike became impossible to contact and would often use his assistant, Shawn, as a middleman for communication. The main problem we found was that Mike had advised us to order a spa with a skimmer that was not needed and ultimately, would not work with our kind of spa (waterfall spa). We were left with a spa that could not be properly installed without removing the skimmer. Once we removed the skimmer, there was a hole in the side of the spa that needed to be patched. After repeated attempts to reach Mike and consult with him about a resolution on this, he agreed to pay half of the hefty service bill from Latham in order for Latham's fiberglass techs to come fix things, leaving us with the other half of the bill. On top of all of this, Latham was unable to provide us with any kind of time estimate and could only tell us that they would reach out the week before they would be available. After numerous (hundreds!) of phone calls by myself to Latham's service department, we finally got on their schedule and after 10 months(!) two techs came to remedy our issue. Once they arrived, they confirmed that a skimmer should have never been installed on this kind of spa and went above and beyond to patch the spa to look brand new. After this, I continued trying to contact Mike to voice my frustration and ask for my money back and he did nothing but avoid my phone calls, voicemails, and text messages. Ultimately, Mike made a mistake in advising and ordering our spa with a skimmer and then lacked the professionalism and decency to even have a conversation with us about it. Despite having paid for a repair that was Mike's mistake, we spent almost a year trying to get our brand new spa in working order. Mike clearly knew he messed up and made all attempts to avoid the situation. I would never suggest anyone work with Mike at Premier Pools and Spas-New York West. Don't be fooled by his efforts to win your business initially like we were.

We replaced our 16 x 24 foot pressure treated deck with a fabulous stamped concrete patio that leads right into and around the pool. One of my favorite parts of the pool is the canteliever edge - the stamped concrete goes right up to and into the top of the pool - it's a really great look. I was impressed with the organization of the various crews that worked on our install. The installers really had their act together - it was awesome to watch them transform our yard. Any issues that we had along the way were resolved professionally and promptly. I would recommend Chameleon to anyone looking for a pool install or concrete work.

The pool looks much worse than it did prior to remodel. The stairs pitch into the pool none of the fittings are flush. They lights were working before now since fittings aren't flush it shorted the pool lights too. I have been coming to this location only since my new pool was installed in 2024. I can't thank them enough for their dedication to all things pools and hot tubs. Their selection is vast and the value or price of their goods and services are average for the area. What I do like is the fact they gif military veterans with a valid military ID a discount.
