Derrick and Tony have serviced our pool many times - they do a great job. We have a large (20 x 34) gunite pool that was put in during the mid 1970s. Recently (May 2018) we purchased a new pump and converted our pool to salt. I worked with Jay (service manager). He was very knowledgeable and helped me as I decided to switch my pool to salt. I was surprised how simple it was to convert to salt. Jay and the service people came out quickly and put in our new pump and the salt system within a week. As it turned out we needed additional electrical work in order to put in our new equipment. I was very happy that they did not charge me additional money for the extra electric work. They honored their initial quote. We are happy with their service and will continue to use them.

We were interested in purchasing a fiberglass in ground pool and a spa and then doing all the install work ourselves. Mike was contracted to arrange the purchase through his supplier, Latham Pools, and the delivery of the pool/spa/equipment. During this time Mike provided his professional advice about what equipment was necessary and answered our questions about the installation process. Upon arrival of the pool/spa/equipment and receipt of final payment, Mike became impossible to contact and would often use his assistant, Shawn, as a middleman for communication. The main problem we found was that Mike had advised us to order a spa with a skimmer that was not needed and ultimately, would not work with our kind of spa (waterfall spa). We were left with a spa that could not be properly installed without removing the skimmer. Once we removed the skimmer, there was a hole in the side of the spa that needed to be patched. After repeated attempts to reach Mike and consult with him about a resolution on this, he agreed to pay half of the hefty service bill from Latham in order for Latham's fiberglass techs to come fix things, leaving us with the other half of the bill. On top of all of this, Latham was unable to provide us with any kind of time estimate and could only tell us that they would reach out the week before they would be available. After numerous (hundreds!) of phone calls by myself to Latham's service department, we finally got on their schedule and after 10 months(!) two techs came to remedy our issue. Once they arrived, they confirmed that a skimmer should have never been installed on this kind of spa and went above and beyond to patch the spa to look brand new. After this, I continued trying to contact Mike to voice my frustration and ask for my money back and he did nothing but avoid my phone calls, voicemails, and text messages. Ultimately, Mike made a mistake in advising and ordering our spa with a skimmer and then lacked the professionalism and decency to even have a conversation with us about it. Despite having paid for a repair that was Mike's mistake, we spent almost a year trying to get our brand new spa in working order. Mike clearly knew he messed up and made all attempts to avoid the situation. I would never suggest anyone work with Mike at Premier Pools and Spas-New York West. Don't be fooled by his efforts to win your business initially like we were.

We replaced our 16 x 24 foot pressure treated deck with a fabulous stamped concrete patio that leads right into and around the pool. One of my favorite parts of the pool is the canteliever edge - the stamped concrete goes right up to and into the top of the pool - it's a really great look. I was impressed with the organization of the various crews that worked on our install. The installers really had their act together - it was awesome to watch them transform our yard. Any issues that we had along the way were resolved professionally and promptly. I would recommend Chameleon to anyone looking for a pool install or concrete work.

More about them in a separate review. Three years ago I was having a real problem with my inground. It was going on 9 years old and the water was a vivid green. Neither hubby nor I could determine what was causing this so we called the "installer". They advised us to run the filter 24/7 (NYSEG loves our summertime bills!!!!) and add some chemicals. App $300.00 woth of chemies. Absolutely nothing happened. I called Leisure Craft and they advised me to close the pool early, this was late August, and drain and refill next year. I followed their advice and I have a great looking pool! Their pool openers/ closers are very professional. They don't charge extra for chemicals. They offer honest suggestions. I thought my underwater lightbulb blew and asked for a service call. Before anything was done, the technician checked the breaker. Sure enough, it had tripped. I ended up paying for a service call but not the bulb, additional time spent on the job, etc. I can go on and on here. They repaired my safety cover at a cost of $175.00. I had an 80 pound Basset Hound that loved to sprint across the cover leaving holes in the safety mesh. A new cover usually costs upwards of $1200.00. I didn't think the old one could be saved..but it was. They respond to emails, scheduling can be done online, etc. The people here are great and I won't use anyone else!

The crew who showed up to deliver was so nice! The best part Is that they have someone come out for your first set up and explain how to maintain it. Was having trouble with my heater that was installed by another provider. Majestic could not get…read morestaff out but had no problem facilitating a new purchase and immediate install. I should have stopped at that point. I decided to go with a new install and avoid the problematic heater I had. Staff showed up and go to work. It took about 4 hours for the install. They advised that I could not turn the pump on for 2-3 hours. At the 2 hour mark, I turned the pump on immediately noticed a leak due to their plumbing. It was not in the new plumbing but in the old plumbing that was modified by majestic. I called the shop and was met with people who were too busy to help. Funny how they are eager to take the phone call for payment but not when something went wrong. The staff ended up coming back at the end of the day and claimed I did something wrong and that they never touched it. I explained that they had modified the existing plumbing to incorporate the new heater. They left and no water leaks continued. UPDATE:::: now there is a gas leak that they are not calling me back about.I turned the gas off and went to the store in person and told them about the gas leak. No-one called me back. No-one has come to fix it. I called the local HVAC company and they came down and fixed the issue. I can't say that I would recommend Majestic. Poor, expensive service.
