Each staff member is smart and knowledgeable about pool supplies and any pool 101 questions you have. I have been coming to this location only since my new pool was installed in 2024. Went there on a whim with two of my children just to look at hot tubs. Sales person was very nice and very informative. I actually have an idea of what type of hot tub to get, and how much it cost now. Makes the idea of more realistic. my family and I have used Pool Mart for years and they have always been when I decided to purchase my own pool last year, their reputation with me quickly declined. , the installer, was very unreliable and Brian did little to correct that situation after multiple complaints. This year when closing it for the first Brian recommended Jason. Who started off responding to me but then for some reason stopped responding, and I ended up closing Pool myself. I purchased my pool 6/16/25, and used a recommended installer that completed 7/5/25. Throughout this hot, dry summer, I saw the water level drop slightly and would refill a bit. When ready to close my pool for the season, 3 months after installation and certainly not hot and dry, noticed the water level still dropping. I called Pool Mart and was advised by them to call "The Pool Guy" who installed my pool. I have left voice messages every other day for over a month without a reply. A 3 month old pool that is leaking! This is not right! Someone is dropping the ball!!! read more

They responded with a long conversation helping me to get back on track to pool clarity ( which I'm still fighting) . Kudos to pool mart for taking the extra step and reaching out to me. Whenever I come in, I am immediately greeted with smiles and friendly service. Since I was purchasing a Spa for therapeutic, relaxation and enjoyment purposes, I relied heavily on the recommendations and expertise of the sales people. They were very attentive to my needs and recommended and ideal spa that I would have not known enough to select on my own. They also came to my home and help evaluate and select an ideal location to place the system. A room I would not have thought of has become my new personal oasis. Pool Mart on Transit Road, Lockport I love this store because of all the great employees, especially Michael. I cannot buy much at this store because it is an above ground pool store and I have in-ground pool. I buy what I can though. They don't seem to care that I am an in-ground pool customer. They are always willing to help me and answer my questions. I like this store because most of the other pool supply stores are run by kids in the summer. I feel more secure with an adult telling me what I need to do to keep my pool blue and swimable. I also have never been sold anything that I didn't REALLY need. I would like to thank Jay Mowery, sales manager at the Depew location for his upmost professionalism in handling a matter/matters after purchasing a deck for my pool that came with missing screws, bolts & brackets that was required to complete the installation of said deck. Mr. Mowery took time out of his busy schedule to reach out to the manufacturer of said deck to have a rush placed on my missing parts, and with days, the parts had arrived at the store. Upon making 2 truly unwanted trips out to Depew, and at no fault at the store, my deck is finally completed! Now ask if I'd ever purchase a deck from that manufacturer-HELL NO! I swear it was packed on a friday with limited staffing-imagine this-you have the left and right panels together for said deck, you go to put the legs on, and-you're missing ALOT of the self tapping screws-out to pool mart you go, angered that you're missing the pieces you so desperately need for these god dam legs to support you while on that deck! Oh wait a minute-guess what? You now get home "thinking" you now have everything to assemble your beautiful, expensive deck-think again! You are now missing 2 brackets NEEDED to support the outermost frame of that beautiful, expensive deck! S.O.A.B.-again-you're now spending $ on gas to drive out 20 minutes to Transit to get(hopefully) your brackets. By the grace of God, Jay Mowery required the manufacturer to send backup parts for your deck should this occur again. And the directions to assemble this "deck"-throw them out, because, unless you're a rocket scientist, you'll never understand 'em! What size screw goes into what bracket? Hell if I know-that's how good they're directions are! read more

I have been told by many that buying a hot tub is risky. So many have had bad experiences where a part breaks and they are unable to get it fixed or replaced. I always wanted a hot tub but this kind of thing made me leary. Went to a home show and spoke with some very friendly representatives that convinced me this would not be the case with pool mart. Bought quite an expensive hot tub from them. Hot tub was installed in April. The men who installed it cracked it. We noticed immediate leaking. Called the company who sent someone right away. This employee states they cracked another hot tub in same place when they installed in Lewiston. Pool mart was great stating they would replace for free. Problem being that was 4 months ago and no one ever called to say "hey we didnt forget ya" Nothing..... We then called and had to keep inquiring on our hot tub. We then asked them to just take it. We dont want one. They stated they will do this as long as we pay a restocking fee of $2600. Restock a broken hot tub? We already paid 4 months on this and couldnt even enjoy it. Also need to mention my quoted monthly price doubled when the first bill arrived. They lied about the payment. I would not do business with them again. I ordered a hot tub from Pool Mart and after several phone calls to them and a month later they had no idea when the hot tub was going to be delivered. They refused a refund of my money and said it is what it is. After another 2 weeks we finally received our hot tub. After inspecting it, we find out that it is not even the hot tub we ordered. It is a different model and everything. The brand they have us is a cheaper model. They then again refused to refund our money or give us the hot tub we purchased, and again said it is what it is. This companies customer service is horrible. I would not recommend anyone to buy anything from here. read more
