I would not recommend. When we were given our first design layout we asked for changes. Removing a pantry and adding another drawer base cabinet to replace a standard base cabinet. The pantry was removed but base cabinet was not corrected. We were not given a lot of information from the salesperson. I was unaware of some extra features available that I would have upgraded to. Then they measured incorrectly and we now have a cabinets that do not look symmetrical next to each other. read more

Larry assisted me with the design.he provided incorrect information about pullout cabinets that I wanted. when delivered they were not pullouts.i also wantEd a shelf above my sin that Larry didn't order. he only provided my contractor with a pencil layout for the cabinets. I laughed initially but spent hours trying to obtain the information on the phone. Larry is lazy, left out important information and details about the cabinets and was consistently vague in any information that we seeking in my were asking. When we finally bit the bullet a short while back and decided to redo our kitchen I quickly became overwhelmed with both the options and naturally the prices. Talk about sticker shock!! So we started our quest with really no idea where to turn. Do we go to a contractor that does it all? Or to individual contractors that specialize in various part of the project. Do we want granite or quartz or some other type of counter top? What design? Whar color? Same questions with the backsplash. What about the cabinets? Well after what seemed to be months of getting estimates and looking at tiles, countertops, and cabinets. we walked through the doors of New York Kitchen and Bath. They were SO helpful without the often encountered salesman push. We had already decided by this point to redo the cabinets ourselves so just needed the countertop and backsplash. We had narrowed down the countertops to quartz but still were looking at different designs. Our salesman was was super helpful. We picked out our countertop which is a Cambria brand quartz. He made all the arrangements for Cambria to come to our house for the measurements and installation. He also arranged the contractor who took out the old countertops and installed our new backsplash. All appointments for measuring and installation went smooth. Everyone was on time, super nice, and super clean. I would highly recommend them for your kitchen work. read more

I needed a small little countertop piece milled down to a 1/2" for a little bathroom remodel project. New York Kitchen & Bath was responsive on the phone, in person and was able to give me a quote for a little piece for a cash & carry deal. I appreciated how responsive they were and their willingness to work with me. I haven't yet purchased the item because it's not 100% necessary for the remodel and more of a beauty piece, but hoping I can save up the budget to do it soon. My husband and I purchased all of our cabinets, counters and so forth from NY kitchen and bath 20 years ago when we remodeled our kitchen. So when it came time to replace our formica counters we looked into several places and settled with them as we were happy with our past purchase. The gentleman that measured, (Matt) was so sweet and accommodating as well as his dad, (Larry) that help with tear out and connecting everything when the time came. My new counters were installed and I was appalled!!! Where the counters were cut I was told it was in the material. I find that so hard to believe. It looked as if someone smeared dirt all over them. A lady came to sit with my mom while we went out for a bit told me, "I tried to wipe up the counters but it wouldn't come off". Also the faucet, (which wasn't cheap) installed didn't work and we were without for the weekend. We had we had almost all of the things in our kitchen in clothes baskets for two months as we didn't want to have to pull everything out again. We had to drive back to Depew a distance from us to pick out new ones and noticed they took the sample from what we purchased off of the floor. We had the counters replaced and are happy with the new ones. When I asked for some kind of compensation for the inconvenience of my kitchen being a mess for two months I was told,"sometimes things happen and if we compensate everyone we would be out of business and we are replacing them and installing them for free". I said, You are replacing and installing defective counters. I basically got an sorry not sorry. Also the owner NEVER bothered to speak to us he sent his son in law to speak for him. They have a very nice and clean show room and they do have high quality products but I was not impressed with my sales person. I had a appointment at 9:30 I got there at 9:26 a lady came right out and said my salesman is in the back I'll go let him know your here and told me to have a seat at his desk, then I waited till 9:48 until he came out. He didn't apologize or even acknowledge the fact he kept me waiting for 20 minutes. Working with him I felt like I was an inconvenience to him. Like most I got other quotes and Two days later I sent an email asking "I wanted to give you an opportunity being a local company to adjust your price if your able to or explain if your cabinet is a better quality and why." This is the reply I got back "NO THAT THE BEST WECAN DO THANK YOU". Felt rude being all capsized, and to be a salesmen and not explain the quality of your product to try and make the sale when I asked if your cabinet is a better quality and why. I know of others who had good experiences with ny kitchen and bath but unfortunately I did not and because of that I wouldn't recommend them. I did end up taking my business elsewhere. read more

I have nothing but good things to say about NYKB. My husband and I have been working on our kitchen remodel and our interior designer suggested a specific counter top that we saw was sold here. We went in, saw it, loved it and ordered it. Therefore, we had limited experience in the show room and were not in need of much assistance as we knew what we wanted; so I cannot speak to the customer service there. What I can speak to and will rave about is the time frame from ordering to install. We ordered the quartz countertop, then less then a week later they came out to measure and even noticed an issue with our cabinets that we were able to quickly fix so the measurements were accurate. Less then a week after measuring they came to install the counter tops! Absolutely amazing, we had a functioning kitchen about two weeks sooner than we anticipated because of their quick turn around time. I would highly recommend this business. read more

The showroom is very big (& clean!) and have a great selection from traditional to modern to trendy styles. NY kitchen and bath did not communicate effectively. I second the prior remarks that you have to beg for service in the store. If you don't make an appointment they will not help you- although they will invite you to come to store without making an appointment. They also failed to communicate about the timeline to deliver the vanity I ordered ultimately delaying my project and costing me more money. Moreover, they did not inform me that you cannot pick up things you ordered at all the times they are open despite repeated calls back and forth to the business about scheduling a pick up. went in store to pick out items for a shower remodel. salesman Rob was very unprofessional, never wrote any of my choices down or wrote up a proposal. went in the morning to pick out items, like shower head, grab bars etc. made an appt . for that afternoon to visit with my husband. he said he would have a quote for me then. went there for my appt. and he had nothing ready. so we went over what we wanted again with my husband. again he did not write anything down and I commented on that, he said it's all in his head. he said I will have an estimate by end of next week. so 2 weeks after I went in I hadn't heard anything, so I walked in and asked him for my estimate. he didn't have it, said he was waiting on the contractor. he said he would call contractor again and definitely have something before he goes home that day. well, the store is closed and I have not heard anything . Stopped by today to choose materials for our bathroom remodel. This store is locally owned and they carry some really nice options for kitchen and bath. We found some great materials. The one thing they do not carry flooring-wise is sheet-type flooring (vinyl, linoleum...). Everything here is tile flooring. We selected everything from oil-rubbed bronze fixtures, vanity (2 different that we liked), a toilet, promo-priced granite counter top, and even the tiles for our shower. Can't wait to get the bathroom put together! Stores like this excite me and make me wish I were an interior designer! read more

We just had our flooring project completed and I have to give Jonathon Fax and NYK&B its proper recognition. From when we first walked in Jon took us through all the details we needed to know and then proceeded to go through with us the hunt for our perfect luxury vinyl. He even stopped by our home a few times with samples to help us come to a decision. When we did we then needed a contractor and that was an issue for some reason due in part because of the complexity of the particular style we chose. In the end after a few drop outs and a non reply from the contractors we were able to get a one through Jon that was perfect. The project was pretty intense with the required pattern and grouting and took some time ( 6 days) but the end result was excellent and we are very satisfied. The contractor we had Jeff worked with us all the time and made sure to not be too much a strain on us during his time while our foyer-kitchen and laundry rooms were re floored.We were also pleased with the assistance and patience from Jon as he was along with us for the entire and at times frustrating ride. He would always come up with a solution and was a pleasure to deal with. There is so much to see at the store so we are sure that when next project comes we will be again in touch here. read more

I wish I could share a positive experience but there was one issue after another. We remodeled 2 full bathrooms. We initially were going to order almost everything from them but after several days waiting for a response from the salesperson, we decided to buy many item elsewhere. We ordered our vanities and counter tops from there. We had vanities for our master bath delivered and one had the wrong door fronts. They ordered new ones and a little over a week later they said they came in but were damaged. So once again they ordered these items and once they arrived another 1-2 weeks later, they had to install them on to the drawer but they damaged one doing this. Now, they are in the process of ordering another door front. I've been waiting close to 3-4 weeks for completion of this vanity. This has been unacceptable and I will not be using NY Kitchen and Bath for any future projects. read more
