We worked with Trish at Kitchen World as part of our project to remodel our kitchen and first floor bath. It was an outstanding experience. Trish met with us in our home to see the space and hear our vision. She designed a layout that was realistic for our budget and still met our expectations for the updated space. She helped us throughout the entire process and was very patient even while explaining the differences in options since this was our first remodel experience. Trish also connected us with a contractor who was already a KW installer and had familiarity with the pieces. The entire process was so smooth and the entire project finished on time, on budget, and exactly what we envisioned. It has been almost 5 months and we absolutely love our updated kitchen! After obtaining estimates for painting and resurfacing the cabinets in my dated kitchen, I decided to get pricing for brand new - and am glad I did. My designer, Trish, was extremely detail oriented, helping guide me to a kitchen of my dreams. The installer, Josh, was respectful of my property, courteous and highly motivated to do an outstanding job from cabinet installation to precision tile work. It was easy to see that both these individuals took pride in their work. While the thumbprint of my kitchen did not change, it's still a galley kitchen- but now not only is it more functional- it's beautiful as well! read more

My cabinets are 2 years old and these are my issues and they do not care. 1. The paint on my cabinets is chipping. They say it's from wiping them off with water. What?! They are in a kitchen. They should be able to handle being wiped off. 2. The bottoms of the cabinets are garbage. When you take items out, you can tell the shape of the items that were sitting in them. 3. The depth is less than my old/previous cabinets (was not made aware of this when ordering) so I'm unable to for some platters, etc in these new cabinets. 4. Nice cabinets, terrible communication. Our original "designer" chose cabinets for our kitchen with no regard for preservation of storage space - we actually lost so much storage we have to keep some of our dishes in the basement now. He didn't mention that he was downsizing our cabinets, and we didn't realize it until everything was installed! That "designer" left halfway through our project, and we were assigned another one who routinely took over a week to respond to messages.  When we signed with Kitchen World, we were given the impression that they would be the project manager, guiding the renovation from start to finish. In actuality, they sell cabinets and appliances. We did all of the middle-man work: choosing vendors, arranging shipments, making all the phone calls. There were instances when we even asked our designer what we needed to do (i.e. arranging the countertop measurements with the stone vendor, or ordering the backsplash tile) and at the time were told it would be taken care of.... until it wasn't and our project was set back several weeks. Unfortunately we chose Kitchen World over other renovation companies because the deal on the cabinets was better - NOT WORTH IT. You can get nice cabinets in lots of places, and get much better customer service elsewhere. read more

We were renovating our entire main level of our house. Our decorator suggested working with Kitchen World and a friend of ours down the road had just used them. I'm happy we didn't end up using them. Firstly, they couldn't accommodate our 36 inch range because there weren't stock corner pieces available. Wait. We were looking at their "custom" cabinet selection, the highest end they offered. Seriously? They weren't custom at all. They were just priced that way. OK, strike number one. Number two. Custom cabinet color. Sure, that will be $100 to see the samples. (Of course we never saw them and they're too inept to get that credit back to us. About 2 weeks of phone tag from some lacky that can't do anything through voice mail nor email.... yes, they still owe me $100) Not only could they not provide the samples it was MY fault. Lastly. (Yes.... #3) Our small kitchen.... U Shaped, can't get custom corners, can't seem to get the custom colors, nothing custom about it... but hey.... there were dovetail drawers! (But MDF cabinets.... yeah... OK... but they were custom....) was going to come in north of $25K. OK, hold on. Really? And there's really nothing custom about it? Yep. We went with someone private that does custom cabinetry. Our corners? They hold a TON of our stuff. The coffee station? PERFECT! All hardwood construction. Guess what.... he doesn't do dovetail drawers. Because in the grand scheme of things, who looks at those and how often has your drawer fallen apart when constructed well? Just north of $8000. Our contractor told us that he's going to use this guy in the future because he's had nothing but trouble with these yahoos. (And our guy's cabinets were exactly as the drawings spec'd and fit perfectly. Remember my friend from earlier? Yeah. It took two tries (reconstructing once) to get them in. Guess what. They still owe me $100. read more

When we started planning our dream kitchen, we started at the big box stores (you know who I'm talking about). The kitchen cabinets we saw looked okay until we examined them closely. Yuck! We stopped at Kitchen World (ok, I dragged my husband there with a promise of stopping for a drink afterward!) and were blown away. From the greeting by the receptionist to the gorgeous kitchen displays we knew we were where we belonged. Every order includes design work from one of their kitchen designers at no extra charge. We asked to be called and the same day were contacted by Jeanette Flannagan, our designer. Within a week she had visited our home to measure and talk about our vision for our kitchen. We then had two appointments with her, one for the initial design and choosing our cabinet style and colors, and the other to finalize our changes and place the order. Our cabinets ended costing us more than we planned, but the quality is absolutely worth it. We were told they would take 3 - 6 weeks to produce and they arrived in 3 1/2 weeks. Two of the panels had slight damage to the finish. We called Jeanette and offered to bring them in as proof, but our word was enough and replacements were ordered. We ended up not ordering our granite countertops from Kitchen World, mostly because it was overwhelming to see so many small samples and not be able to see the entire piece. Not Kitchen World's fault; they could hardly handle huge pieces in their showroom. Aside from that, we highly recommend Kitchen World! read more

I bought a DCS stove from kitchen World for about $5000.00 and now that it needs repair they inform me they do not service their appliance. I would never buy another product from Kitchen World. Also the cabinets we purchased have had to have almost every hinge replaced. I wish I could give them no stars. read more

We walked into Kitchen World twice with hopes of getting help. We were ignored both times. The receptionist knew we were there but chose not to greet us or even reach out and ask if we needed help. The last visit, we wandered around for 30 minutes and finally 5 minutes before closing told the receptionist we were going in the back to quickly look at another kitchen. The crowd of employees that had gathered at the desk looked put out and said it was 3pm. I said my phone says I still have 5 minutes. They acted annoyed and one guy said "We will just let the fire department let you out". They will never get my $20k for my kitchen renovation. read more

The product I purchased was sub standard. Unfortunately the finishes were not very good. They replace my cupboard doors two times and they came back looking the same. Unfortunately they did not make good on their promise. I tell all my friends what happened to me and they can't believe it. I could've went to Home Depot and receive a better product. I was very pleased with my experience at Kitchen World. There was a large variety of quality products available and displayed in real kitchen settings, not just small slabs or samples as at other places. My designer was not pushy or high pressure. She offered suggestions only when asked. I felt the selection, quality of products and customer service were excellent. My installation went smoothly and not nearly as stressful or messy as what i had imagined based on others "horror stories" when they remodeled their kitchen with someone else. I found their prices very competative to other places I checked too. Also other places often had me responsible for finding and/setting up someone as an installer. This was all handled through Kitchen World. I would highly recommend Kitchen World. You will not be disappointed. I love my new kitchen-what a difference! read more

I have purchased cabinets from here 3 time within the past 2 years. Issues every time (yes call me an idiot for returning) My dad was a builder and used Kitchen World exclusively, They have grown and their customer satisfaction has shrunk. Keep this in mind, cabinets take weeks to get in, if your order isn't right you wait weeks more, cabinets that have glass should have glass come with them and a complete order should have everything you ordered. And for the price they charge? $$$ read more
