Marks left from pans in bottom of drawer. This is not solid wood as was promised.

My cabinets are 2 years old and these are my issues and they do not care. 1. The paint on my cabinets is chipping. They say it's from wiping them off with water. What?! They are in a kitchen. They should be able to handle being wiped off. 2. The bottoms of the cabinets are garbage. When you take items out, you can tell the shape of the items that were sitting in them. 3. The depth is less than my old/previous cabinets (was not made aware of this when ordering) so I'm unable to for some platters, etc in these new cabinets. 4. Service department isn't helpful or responsive.

We are so impressed with the details our kitchen now has! Our designer worked with our schedule to ensure our experience was nothing short of amazing. We are thrilled with our kitchen design by Joao at Kitchen world, the custom candlelight cabinets and the guidance we received throughout the extensive remodel! We would recommend if you think through your options to prioritize the design with kitchen world!

We chose light grey cabinets and contrasted them with island cabinets in a finish called Cadet. Gorgeous!

Service was ok and although items ordered were late and had to postpone installation, the managers assisted well.

So they changed their name and added a letter to both words, and hey presto. Four stars because it's expensive, but there's not a lot of cheap-end home interior stuff out there, especially not that looks this good. You have to be moderately wealthy to afford the "ready made rooms" on display in here. If you're into remodeling the inside of your home, you'll probably find this place orgasmic. The employees are very friendly, patient, and there was no sort of high-pressure sales tactics as far as I could tell. Or maybe people just know better because they take one look at me and realize I'm unsellable. Or maybe it's just that the products in here are so impressive and top-of-the-line that they don't need to really push to sell anything. I can't afford to shop here, but it's a hell of a great place to bring a girl who has her own house or wants her own house. Then I get rewarded with a make out session in the parking lot. Everyone's happy.

I love anything to do with a kitchen and someday hope to reach that perfect design in my mind. But for now this place happens to by my playground and makes me wish that I owned my own house so I could trick it out with some sexy and sleek stuff. The staff is very helpful and is knowledgeable about all the items that the store contains. This is also the location for the Nickel City Chef competitions which I have yet to attend, but I hear they are fabulous!

4.5-stars for quality of work and craftsmanship, 1-star for customer service and communication,…read moreaverages out to 3-star rating. Donald is a passionate man with a lot of years of experience and he is one of the best refinishers in WNY. Unfortunately, I had a bad experience working with him. He refinished my floors and reglazed/cleaned up a really decrepit bathroom, which the previous homeowner left covered in literal crap and feces. He did all this within a day of the time he said he would, so his craftsman and quality of work are a solid 4.5-stars. He can literally transform your old tiles in your bathroom and make them look brand new with a different color saving you money from ripping your tiles out and installing new ones. He can do one of the best floor jobs in the area as far as sanding goes, although not without imperfections (but he would probably be upset at you if you pointed them out). However, our relationship fell apart when at the end of the job he asked for $450 more than what he quoted on paper because of the excellent work he did. He claimed he would be "really disappointed" if he didn't get paid that extra $450 and practically tried to emotionally bully me into doing so, going as far as threatening not to work on another project for my wife that he already previously discussed with her. I ended up paying him $300 over the quote and I don't even think he was happy about that. Not once throughout the job did he call and say it would be more. We did talk about some extras like some simple shoe molding, but he said it wouldn't be more than "300 max" and then asked for 450 more without putting the shoe molding on (because I told him not to at the beginning of the job). I think we had a misunderstanding and miscommunication, because when I told him not to put the shoe molding in--I assumed that the job would cost the amount he quoted on paper. I wouldn't have minded paying him if he communicated throughout the job that it would be extra to put some transitional pieces of wood in. To his credit, he did put a super nice transitional piece of beautiful wood to cover the transition from tile to staircase and did an incredible job with it and the pieces from staircase to living room. Those were honestly worth the extra $$$, but it's just the lack of communication that had me upset and then the unwillingness to listen to the customer. He went as far as hanging up on me when I tried to discuss it with him. So overall, if you can put up with a temperamental artist - Donald is your man because he does beautiful work, but he's not that great at the customer-facing side of the business.
