We learned about The Red Leaf Milling Company from our HVAC contractor, who matter of factly asked…read moreif we reached out to John (the owner). After a terribly unpleasant kitchen and bath place visit, we called and John stayed late while we drove to Newfane to visit his showroom. As soon as we stepped inside this unpretentious set up, I knew we'd found our cabinet maker. We chatted and learned way more than imaginable about cabinetry and countertops. He even opened a drawer and (gulp) stood in it. That is how sturdy he builds cabinets. Handsome gorgeous cabinets. John has the entire process of building cabinets to an art. He visited our home on several occasions and gave input and advice as needed. We visited the slab yard and selected granite from the beautiful pieces available. Once he measured he returned and double checked with us certain areas so he could build the most efficient spacious cabinets possible. John is a stellar carpenter and doesn't like to waste any space, claiming to be all thriller, no filler (no faux panels). We honestly listened to John when it came to best depth, width and such details. This is his forte. He reminded us regularly that he wants us to have it our way. When he suggested knobs (and a place online to order) and not pulls we listened. The cabinets come with all slow close, superior hinges, and made for your needs. The shelving has sturdy metal grommets and pegs and holds 60% more weight than standard cabinetry allows. I asked for a cabinet to store my stringed instruments and got that. He even lowered the placement available for the oven/microwave combo 4" so it'd be easier for vertically-challenged me to reach! Plus full depth over the refrigerator storage cabinet. So very happy with this local business.

We called on a Saturday morning and he answered right away. We asked if we could make an appointment. He was very accommodating and said that he could squeeze us in between two other appointments that day. He showed us some products, gave us a tour and gave us a quote right on the spot. We were so impressed we decided to do the job. We were not disappointed! John came out to do the measuring and then a week later was there to do the install. He answered any questions we had, was SUPER neat, we are clean freaks so we very much appreciated that! I can't recommend Red Leaf Milling enough! Turns out we eventually got the quote from the Lockport company, after a month of asking for it, and they were more expensive than Red Leaf Milling and their product was inferior. So happy with our experience from start to finish! Thank you John!

So they changed their name and added a letter to both words, and hey presto. Four stars because it's expensive, but there's not a lot of cheap-end home interior stuff out there, especially not that looks this good. You have to be moderately wealthy to afford the "ready made rooms" on display in here. If you're into remodeling the inside of your home, you'll probably find this place orgasmic. The employees are very friendly, patient, and there was no sort of high-pressure sales tactics as far as I could tell. Or maybe people just know better because they take one look at me and realize I'm unsellable. Or maybe it's just that the products in here are so impressive and top-of-the-line that they don't need to really push to sell anything. I can't afford to shop here, but it's a hell of a great place to bring a girl who has her own house or wants her own house. Then I get rewarded with a make out session in the parking lot. Everyone's happy.

I love anything to do with a kitchen and someday hope to reach that perfect design in my mind. But for now this place happens to by my playground and makes me wish that I owned my own house so I could trick it out with some sexy and sleek stuff. The staff is very helpful and is knowledgeable about all the items that the store contains. This is also the location for the Nickel City Chef competitions which I have yet to attend, but I hear they are fabulous!

Then it was Kemper Cabinets, a well-known manufacturer and the second-largest cabinetmaker in the country. Kemper is known for quality cabinets. "They researched us," Privitera said. "They were looking for someone to work and promote their semi-custom made cabinets. And John and I have been cabinetmakers for 35 years each." Now Millwork offers Kemper Cabinets. As an authorized dealer, Privitera and McClellan can make adjustments or modifications to a customer's cabinets locally in their Lincoln Avenue showroom and workshop. People can visit Millwork 2000, which is now open to the public for the first time in the 12 years the business has been in the town. Privitera said Millwork can custom-make cabinets, meeting customers requests for colors and sizes. Recently, the shop had to create a cabinet with a lazy susan to fit in an 8-inch space. People can also come to Millwork for repairs and changes, instead of going to Kemper. Millwork also offers other woodcrafted items, such as staircases, bars, doors and living rooms. The showroom will feature more displays, although it'll be nothing fancy, Privitera said. Really the mission is to get the word out, that Millwork 2000 is open to all, not just professionals. "We just want people to know we're here," Privitera said. Millwork began in Clar

My 6 year old was with me and she later said that he reminded her of "Flash" the sloth from the kid's movie Zootopia -- and I laughed out loud b/c she was 100% spot on. He literally moved sooooooo slowlyyyyyyyyyy, lifting up his scan gun inch by inch, cutting open the plastic to get to the UPC......... just crawlingggggggggggggggggg. I brought my kiddo into the public bathroom and turned around and walked out. GROSSman's bargain outlet is right. One door was welded shut, and the only remaining toilet was FILTHY. Floor: filthy. Wall: filthy. Repulsive.
