I have used this company to open/ close pool for several years. However this year's closing service…read moregave me surprisingly poor experience. On the service day, I arrived home shortly after the crew left and found the backyard messy, all the container and storage bin were left open, along with a skimmer basket standing alone being separated from other parts. Next I found wide gap between winter lock cover and the curve side of my pool -- the cover was ordered and custom-made by this company! Lastly I received an invoice put underneath my front door mat showing one extra hour ($120 + tax) labor added to the price of standard service I ordered every year - It is the same pool serviced by this company for several years, and there was never such extra hour labor charge on previous invoices. I immediately contacted the manager through email (with pictures I took) and text messages regarding issues stated above ... two days later I received an email reply from the operation manager. Rather than providing any explanations, I was simply struck with a notice/ decision that they must charge me extra hour labor from now on till future. Not any feedback was given regarding the gap between lock cover and the pool side wall. I have submitted a formal complain through Customer Protection Ontario.

They started the work and then disappeared. This company left with $10K of our families hard earned money, damage to our back yard and pool, and we were devastated. Repairs to the damage done to our backyard and pool and re ordering the liner cost us another $16K on top of the $10K we lost. (Shout out to Creative Organics and BT Pools for helping us fix this!) Are we at fault for not doing more research? Of course. Are we at fault for taking a discount on the project cost to pay this company upfront? Of course. We have learned a hard lesson. We have gone through lawyers, we have a small claims case, but the old saying "cant get blood from a stone" applies here. I just want to warn the community of this company and suggest to everyone to do their research thoroughly before hiring anyone. I have a special place in my heart for our community and naively I think everyone in our community is a good person. Most of us are, but not all.
