buyer beware never use Frisco Pools Inc Bolton for hotub repair. They take advantage of you. Use Ian's Technical Services from Etobicoke. They are honest, well priced and will troubleshoot the problem until they find it. Highly recommend. It's almost unbelievable what Frisco did to us. Hard to believe in these times and in a small town they risk being outed for the scam artists they are. I don't usually use platforms like this or shame anyone or organizations but this time felt appropriate, I felt it necessary to stand up. If you saw the email they sent me and the money they took you would understand. Here is hoping my visa dispute works out. I gave them a week to settle this respectfully and professionally and to take the high road. They chose the alternate route. Truly unfortunate. They sent a technician to troubleshoot my issue they didn't do anything to find the leak. The technician was clueless. Even though the hot tub was literally leaking right before his eyes. They took $250+tax from me and tried to scam another $50 for a "dye test". The technician took some red food coloring and dropped 3 drops into the tub that cost $50. The technician left and left a note suggesting we needed to lift it to assess and that would cost $1,200. I called and called to dispute ask for a resolution even offered to pay half of the fee I just wanted to have the leak assessed during the service call I paid for. I bought the refurbished tub off them one year ago and they don't know how to assess a basic leak. I was referred to Ian's Technical Services and they came out for half the price found the same leak in 30min and had it repaired in under 15min for $240. See picture. I have confronted Frisco and they blamed me for poor maintenance or a rodent. When you see the picture you will understand that a self contained unit like a beachcomber, a rodent could never get in and poor maintenance doesn't cause a pipe to come away from it's clamp. They brought up a past repair (heater coil) that was due to low Alkaline water. Yes we own that and paid for the service. We were new to hot tub ownership. The technician from Ian's said that they poorly repaired it didn't use glue and was obvious the panel had been opened before because of the screws in the bottom. Overpriced, poor service and they insult their customers. It's hard to believe they are still in business. Good luck to you if you ever use them. read more

The Summer that Wasn't -Thanks to Frisco! My pool was opened on May 4th, I had paid for the full year package which was $3000.00, and was to include maintenance for the full season. What a fool I was! NEVER AGAIN!!! On opening the pool they informed me that the pump was seized. Hard to believe, but I complied. They attempted to repair it, which took over 3 weeks. Frustrated, I said to replace it. They said it would cost $2000 for a new pump. I decided to go to Hayword Pools, to purchase the part. It cost $1100, not $2000. I came home and replaced the pump myself with no issues. I called Frisco Pools, I asked to speak to the owner (Tom); it was extremely difficult to get a hold of him. He finally came out to my place, and attempted to program my pump; this is when my ongoing issues started. Every time I called him to rectify the issue, I was charged... I have a waterfall unit which was not working, Tom came to my place he got it working. I was told to use my auxiliary 3 not auxiliary 1, I did as I was told. As a result the waterfall worked occasionally, I was extremely frustrated. Tom came back a day or two later and informed me to use auxiliary 1 button. After that I had no issues. We are in the middle of June, my heat is not working- they came out and got the problem rectified. I was content that my family and I were able to use the pool... Unfortunately, only two days later the heater stopped working again. Tom came over again and informed me that he had to call the gas company to the cost of another $1000.00 plus other service fees to Frisco again! I had that point had to change my hand-held remote which is only three years old. I replaced it, which cost $600 plus an additional service fee. Finally, in July I was able to use the pool. I asked Tom, to please look at my seized pump and inspect if it is was okay. He returned in ten days later, and claimed it was indeed seized. My support for Frisco came to an end. I went over to Leador Pools on HWY 27.The owner Richard, was such a pleasure! Always there to help! I gave him my pump, he informed me that there was nothing wrong with the pump that the magnets on shaft broke, which was a warranty issue. He informed me that he would get me a credit for the pump, and that he did. It was under the manufactures warranty. At this point, I terminated my contract with Frisco Pools. Only after spending close to $9000.00 with them! Lastly, I found out that Frisco lost 3 customers on my street alone! I wonder why??? FRISCO Pools in Caledon or bolton ontario is the worth little service company you can deal with. They know nothing about business ethics, all they know is changing prices, creating and inflating issues in order to charge more and never return calls. This is what happened to us. We contracted this company to open the pool for a specific charge. They took the winter cover and waited one week. Then they came back stating that the pool is leaking and they need $350 to inspect it and more fees to fix it. I had to fill the water to the top and wait few days to see if there is a leak which came out normal. Then we called them back to continue the opening. Again they did the opening and waited few days to tell us that they have to charge $150/ hour to clean the bottom of the pool. I decided to contact another company where their fees were half compared to Frisco Polls with good reviews. read more
