Serviced the family pool for years. Needed a service call. Left 3 messages (for Austin, the service manager), spoke to 3 associates with the same request for service. Three months later, still waiting for a call back. My favorite, though, was when we installed a pool heater. It never worked right. The whole thing went up in flames, because they never removed the paperwork from inside the heater. Super geniuses. read more

Like to support family owned business, however After we called them to ask a question about our hot tub closure, they offered to stop out to check it out... We had asked them to contact us first so that we could be here which they failed to do and then they billed us $244 To complete a job that was already 90% done! read more

I was scheduled for an opening May 23rd. It was a nice day out so I sat in the yard all day and waited for the service techs. By 2pm I grew concerned and called to check on the status. I was told the guys were still out and they would make it to me before the end of the day. I remained patient as I know that before a holiday weekend everyone wants their pool opened. But they didn't show. By Friday May 26 I called to check the status once again and was told that I turned the service men away. Which is completely false. When I asked what time this occurred because I have cameras the woman Margaret said "are you telling me, my guys are lying?" I told her that maybe there was an address mix-up, because I was waiting for them. There is no way possible, they were turned away from my home. I asked if maybe the service men got a signature for the denial of service and she said "in these times, if my guys are told to leave, they leave" So I stated that this had to be some kind of mistake, when can we come to some kind of resolution? -- She said she would check with the service manager. I've waited several days for a call back. From Austin hoping I would get an answer, almost pleading. Never once lost my cool, I just want more information and my pool opened. The lack of customer service, accountability, conflict resolution is hugely disappointing for any business. Even if someone called me back to tell me to pound salt, at least I would have gotten a call back.. But to completely ignore me and pass me around is exhausting. Your guys had an address mix-up and that's okay, where is the make good in this? I have video footage with time stamps to prove that they were never on the property that I can provide. At this point I feel defeated and can't help but feel like this was personal for some reason. Wasted a great holiday weekend on nonsense. read more

Being first time hot tub buyers, it's a little overwhelming. We were referred to Pool Brite by a friend so they were our first stop. We were instantly greeted by Tim who was knowledgeable, friendly and didn't try to pressure us one bit. Still we checked out the competition. One other place seemed to be giving us "a better deal", but upon checking their BBB rating and reviews, we were too skeptical to deal with them (the old saying - Buyer Beware!). Went back to Pool Brite to close the deal. We scheduled the delivery date and the hot tub came when promised. The installation team (Rob and Zachary) were awesome. They were quick, thorough and made sure everything was working properply. Rob spent a lot of time making sure we understood the maintenance/chemicals etc. All in all, this was a wonderful company to deal with in every respect, and I cannot find one negative thing to say about them. read more

Bought a Sundance Optima 880 spa from them a little over a year ago. While not cheap, I couldn't be happier. I use the spa 3-4 times a week year round. I have had some minor issues with it during that time; led lighting and a Temperature sensor. Anyways the service is amazing. I just leave rob a voicemail and he calls me back same day. 3 times I called for minor service and it was fixed by the next day, and I didn't even have to be home! I'd imagine other companies taking much longer to send someone out. Also their prices on chemicals, filters and accessories are almost spot on to Amazon. Sometimes a dollar or two more, sometimes less. While the Spa was not cheap, I am so glad I purchased it from Pool Brite. The service alone makes me not even 2nd guess my purchase. read more

I needed a replacement power pack for my pool robotic cleaner. They helped me find a suitable replacement (for less money than on the internet) and assured me it would work. I starting talking about some other replacement parts I needed on other things and they were able to find those for me too. Told me returns would not be a problem. Power pack worked perfectly. I've never been in this store because I live in the South Towns but work up here. I will use them for most of my pool items. Looking forward to going in store when they open after this pandemic. read more

My sister used Pool Brite to open her pool for the first time and the service is awful. Apparently their opening process includes taking the cover off, checking the filter, adding very little chlorine and skimming the pool a little. For around $500 I expected so much more. The pool is still green. And when we called to ask why, they just said "the services that were provided is all they do when opening a pool". Shame read more

I am writing on behalf of my mother as I take care of her pool for her. After stopping in last Monday for $100 in chemicals I came back today to purchase to new filters. I told my mom it would be a couple hundred of dollars but was surprised that 1 200sq. ft. sta-rite system 3 outer core filter s7m120 was $299.99 and the smaller 100sq. ft. sta-rite system 3 inner core filter s7m120 was $149.99. We bought these from you last time but do not remember them being this expensive. You have opened and closed her pool for the past 10 years except this year I tried opening her pool on my own to save her $400 dollars. I also purchased the motor from you a few years ago was was helped by Dave who has been an employee of yours for 12 years and he helped me today also. After realizing that sticker shock of $450 for 2 filters I asked if I can get a better price. He then flipped out on me and now I remember him from buying the motor a few years ago as he was rude then also. I asked him what the mark up was as I assume it is 70% or more because your prices are the highest in town. read more
