I'm 71 years old. My husband and I purchased a car January of the his year. We had also purchased a Security Plus for $2,995 and was told it would lower the interest. By February 2018 the car was totalled. By March, we cancelled the Security Plus and in May Carson Nissan only paid the lender $1,109. Since June and until now we have been trying to get the balance of $1,886 (we paid the lender which Carson Nissan was responsible to pay) from Fred Bergunza who has been telling me he sent the check in my name. They ruined our credit by not paying the lender back and my husband recently passed taking this to his grave unsettled. read more

Zorina's service was awesome and her rating as a sales associate is a 5! This rating is for my overall experience at Carson Nissan. I say that because I think that she was doing everything that she could and she may have been the "middle man" ...now for the review: Man in blue shirt at the door that was suppose to be greeting customers simply asked if he could help me find a car today. I thought that was a little weird because normally people say hello and then ask that question. Maybe that was his way of saying hello. ‍I had already spoken to Zorina and we agreed to meet at the receptionist desk. She was nice she did the first glance aprasal of my car and later noted after speaking with her manager he was hesitant in trading the car in with over 100k miles on it. She left with my credit score to talk with him again and later came back saying the Nissan Murano I came in to see and purchase she could not find then 20 minutes later found it and said she could show me but it's dirty because it wasn't in the used car lot. She left again and said she was going to get it ready for us to view. Went for a test drive of the versa which was cool but smelled like smokeand Fritos and a new Sentra that was basic af and way more than I expressed I wanted to pay. She came back in with paper work and wanted to do a credit inquiry but I declined because it would be a ding on my credit. I didn't want to do the credit check because it's been almost 45 minutes and she still has yet to bring the car out that I asked for from the gate . I pulled up my credit score and details from a a trusted app and asked if we could go from there. She said they can move forward and assume on approved credit but the price will vary based on what the bank says. I didn't want to have my credit score ran in case I don't go forward with the purchase since I still have not seen the car I've repeatedly asked to view. Zorina brings in her manager Don who pretty much says that he will not move forward unless I fill out the application. He looked hung over he didn't have a pleasant presence at all was a little short and aggressive. Made this seems transactional like I was purchasing a bag of chips VS a huge purchase like a vehicle! I will be stuck with for the next 6-10years. Not very pleasant but straight to the point! polar opposite of Zorina. She took the rude guy out as we didn't vibe said she can go start getting some numbers ran for me based off of the Sentra she showed me because they were unable to produce the cari wanted. I asked for that about what felt like 10 times. We negotiated to$XX a month with the warranty and she went to run my credit through their system and came back and said she would need more on the down payment and the monthly payments will be in the high 4's so like her original quote before I allowed her to run the credit. I opted to walk. She came back to ask if I had a cosigner and I told her I didn't. That was the end. I felt like I waisted an unecessary almost two hours playing this game with them when this transaction could have been over the moment they "couldn't find the car" to "oh I'm having it cleaned for viewing" just say I don't have the damn car and let the person make a decision from there. A few months ago I had my car serviced here at this location and it was not a good experience. I should have learned my lesson from there. I think it's safe to say that I will not be returning. read more

I was looking to purchase a truck, but I hadn't considered a nissan until they sent a 50 dollar offer to come and test drive a truck. I was tempted and went in. I even purchased the truck. After, they said they ran out of the 50 dollar gift cards and they would mail it to me. They never mailed it even after I followed up. I went there again with an appointment a couple weeks later for my free 1000 mile oil change on Christmas eve. They still didn't have my 50 dollar voucher. I left the car there because they said they needed a few hours for the oil change. I got a "lift" home and was called an hour and a half later to be told they were closing early and couldn't do my truck. So much for my free oil change. I paid an uber back to get my truck. They had left all the plastic in it for me to throw away. They left oily fingerprints on my door. I agree with not working Christmas eve, but it comes every year and they should schedule it off. I like the truck except for the gas milage, but this dealership has horrible service. read more

I just got a new Nissan Leaf! Carson Nissan is a great dealership, and I've been impressed with their friendly, professional service and the GREAT deal we got! The salesman, Eugene Cho, took us on a very convincing test drive of that little high-tech rocket ship that is the Nissan Leaf. Eugene is so enthusiastic that even after we said, "yes, ok, we are sold!" He still continued to tell us about even more features and benefits. Loved him! As for the car.. I'm SMILING as I drive past filling stations. It plugs in to 110, it's easy to drive, it handles like a sports car, with the great balanced center-of-gravity.. And have I said its a rocket? I took a Prius owner to lunch.. I got on a clear stretch of highway and punched it! I nailed the shocked Prius owner to the seat! Eugene laughed when I told him, saying I won't go far on a charge if I drive like that! But it was worth it, it was so much fun. I highly recommend Carson Nissan and Eugene Cho. I recently purchased a Frontier through their internet department and it couldn't have been easier. Took 3 emails and we had an agreed upon price and pick up date. The actual required paperwork took longer than any of the rest of the transaction. Professional outfit and everyone was willing to help all along the way. So I bought a new truck back in 2006 from them. The Good: The sales experience was great. The salesman was professional, and they drove about 30 miles out to the City of Industry just to pick up the truck because they didn't have the style in stock that I wanted. The Bad: I traded in my old car, and thought they would have paid off my old car pretty quick, since they had it. About 2 weeks later, I got a bill in the mail stating that they paid the old car off, and they needed the difference which was higher than previously estimated by around another $100-$200 more. So I paid it. Then within 2 weeks after that, I get a late notice from my bank asking for a payment to be made on the car I traded in and now I'm over 30 days late. Superior Nissan hadn't paid anything toward my trade in that they had possession of. I tried calling the GM., and got no return phone call. Since I got no action, I called Nissan directly to file a complaint, which I resolved in person with the GM. It's too bad that Superior Nissan didn't just do what they were supposed to do to begin with and pay off my vehicle in a timely manner. Because from the sales end of it, I got excellent service and a great deal on the new truck as well as for my trade in. If you purchase from them, and you have a trade in, I recommend you get them to put in writing a date that they promise to pay off your truck. read more

The issue is that if Carson Nissan cannot make a deal the customer would agree with, why run a persons credit through more than 10 different loan companies (trying to find the best deal) just to find out Carson Nissan cannot make a deal of the customers liking. If I could I'd leave 0 stars I would. Talk about customer service and the service department! There is never a manager on duty and if there is he is no help at ALL. I spoke to the sales manager whose name is Alberto, mind you I just bought my car two months ago with a 4 star Warranty and it's already having problems. I tried speaking to Alberto about the problems the service department was giving me and he cut me off about three times when I'm trying to speak to him about what is going on. I've been coming to Carson Nissan for over a year to get my car serviced here, so I got to experience the previous management and team. I bought my car in Merced and used to live in Irvine, so I've been able to experience the service centers in both cities as well. Before management change: The service was typical of any car dealership, parts and labor also ran similar rates. Nothing to complain about. My car is brand new, so I'm babying it and taking it straight to the dealer. Had Jesse and then Carl as my service advisors. Both were great and only recommended what I needed. Wait times varied greatly (sometimes I'd sit there doing work for over 3 hours, other times, it'd be two). After management change: Had Christina as my service advisor. She was very professional, and got me in and out in the estimated time (~1 hour 15mins). WOW. I'd had the minor service (every 7500 miles) done before and it's always taken around 2 hours. I've always wondered why a tire rotation and an oil change took 2 hours in the past, but I guess that's one of the differences in the new teams. She also gave me an estimate, and the final cost was cheaper than the estimate! Not just that, the estimate was even cheaper than similar services I've paid for at other dealerships and the previous management. Oh man oh man. We have a winner! I actually live in Alhambra now, so I will be driving over 25 minutes just to get my car serviced here because of my treatment before and how much better it's gotten. There may be more positives lurking behind the scenes, heck, maybe even some negatives, but I'm very impressed by the service center here. I hope they treat every other person just as well (sure, prices may vary, but the quality of the auto care should still be consistently high). read more

I was called by Knight on Saturday night soon after I had entered some info on the Internet while browsing for a car. He did a brief interview and asked if I could stop by the dealership on sunday. I agreed to stop by at 2:00pm after church service. I was in an uplighted zone when I arrived about 45 minutes early and was greeted by Knight who introduced me to Ervin who in turn introduced me to Luther. It seemed Ervin was in the same kind of zone as me because he only asked the kind of questions that would get me the car I wanted. There was no pressure, or pushing. Matter of fact, I didn't even have to confirm my income. He only wanted to know what monthly payments I'd be comfortable with and encouraged me to take a test drive. Luther pulled out the color I like and I drove the Altima SV. I was very impressed.The SV was over my monthly payment so I selected an Altima S which is appropriate to drive with Uber. I hadn't purchased a new car in well over 25 years because I've always driven Volvos and they last forever. When we went to finance, I was still in the zone. I think Jaimie in finance caught it too because we laughed so much while filling out the papers and signing what seemed like a hundred times that the manager passed by the office and jokingly reminded us, "you guys a're having too much fun. This is supposed to be a dealership." Knight, Ervin, Luther and Jaime kind of remind me of a team with championship qualities. They work well together. I drove out of Carson Nissan a Very Happy customer because I got a brand new Altima to drive for Uber and I got 45 days to make my first payment. And I still have my 1991 Volvo. When I was checking in I told a man by the name of Chris that I had a 7am appointment for a car service and he said that I had to wait as they would get to me " first come first serve". This is the *WORST*!!!!!!!!!! car service in the 3 continents i have ever been In!!!! They call them self a car service!!!! They are the worst car service i ever had. The easiest warranty repair of my Nissan Quest was like getting to the Summit of Mount Everest for them. The time for them to repair my car... was MORE than 1 month. How many times i visited them... I came in for an "express" oil change which means 30 mins or less. I had told my service advisor that my cell phone would be the best contact. I had gone to run some errands with the fiancé. I brought my car in at 4:17pm and my car was done at 4:48pm. That's what it said on the receipt. But why did I get dropped off at 7:05 pm with no phone call received?!? The service advisor looked at me with a blank stare and did not apologize. The cashiers excuse for me not being contacted was that the employee was new. Wow! Some BS! Mind you, this is the second time this happened. Oh, but prior to this waiting game, I was actually in the waiting room for 2 hrs and the service advisor went on his lunch break and then was gone for the day when I finally got up and asked about my car. I live extremely close to the South Bay Nissan, but had such a terrible experience with them, I don't feel comfortable bringing my car back there for service. Tried Gardena Nissan and wasn't crazy about them either. Carson Nissan was my last hope and third time was a charm indeed. Went in for an oil change. Scheduled an appointment online first. Get there and I'm greeted by the friendliest service staff. He mentions that my car will be ready in an hour and a half which I've heard all before, but it almost never happens. He promises it will happen and he delivers. As a matter of fact, it was done in an hour. Everyone in the department was friendly and accessible and answered any questions I might have. There has never been a time where I have ever had bad service here. Everyone that helps me is always so nice, personable and genuine. Whenever there is extra stuff that is going on with my car during their inspections, they always offer a shuttle service or even a loaner car if they think it's going to take awhile. One time, one of our regular service gals, Christina, drove us home in her car. I tried taking my car to Gardena Nissan service before, and it just wasn't the same. I love that I drop off my car, leave my keys in the engine, and go to the desk. When they pull up my car info, all of my info is already in the system. It's just so easy, it's like I don't have to do much work. There's always a lot of people getting services at this location so the wait can take some time, but I never really mind the wait because they are so awesome. They have really great amenities for you while you wait and the couches in the waiting room are pretty comfy. If you have work to do, bring a laptop, they have a charging station. If you're phone is dead, they have a charging station for multiple types of phones. If you're bored, they have a t.v. If you're tired, take a nap, or get coffee in their Gourmet coffee machine, for free! If you have kids, they have a play room and a pretty awesome popcorn machine. read more

But I am happy to say that this new Nissan dealership--CARSON NISSAN--is fantastic!!! My salesperson was Lai-ce Shum. I cannot say enough great things about Lai-ce. She is the best! She is honest, knowledgeable, and diligent. She cares about her job. What a professional! She continues to help me with my LEAF as issues come up, even though the sale has long since been final. I recently purchased a Murano from Carson Nissan. Gary Chow and his staff are very efficient. I have been to more than my share of dealerships over the years (Miller Toyota; Felix Chevy; BH VW; North Hollywood Toyota; New Century BMW; BH Porsche; and Faulk Lexus). However, this was by far the most smooth and professional experience. My only complaint is that Nissan doesn't make a hybrid cross-over (yet). However, the Murano was better than the Toyota Venza. I figured out an issue with my car was covered by a manufacturer extended warranty. I hate taking it to Dealers since they always up-sell you to stuff you don't need and make it sound like you will die if you don't fix issues immediately. I had tried Cerritos Nissan and Hooman Nissan in the past and both recommended stuff I knew I didn't need since I work on my car myself all the time. I decided to give Carson Nissan service center a try to fix this new issue. What a refreshing place. Nice people everywhere. No hard sell. Just figured out the issue, took my car in, and fixed it. Called me within 2 hours to say it was done. Christina, the service manager, was very helpful. She did outline things the tech suggested needed servicing and pointed out some stuff that really did need attention soon, but didn't push anything. M I will definitely bring my car back here for any repair services I need. Im now even going to get some mechanical issues I can live with fixed here. I have been going here ever since I got my versa in 2011 and this is by far the best and only dealership I will ever go to. I have been to other Nissan dealerships who seriously messed up my car even more during a simple oil-change (needed to by an entirely new oilpan!!). The people here at Carson Nissan know what they're doing, offer the best price, and honestly look out for you and your car. They once told me I didn't need to do a $500 transmission tune-up because the CVT transmission didn't need it at a certain mileage yet. Think any other dealership just didn't see $$$$$ in their eyes? I have always come out of this dealership satisfied, even when there are little bumps along the road in my cars' maintenance. Speaking of which, I take ALL of my cars here now. I have a 2005 Murano.49,000 miles I was told by Hooman Nissan I needed motor mounts, struts, strut mounts and a new window motor; cost would be $2300. Carson Nissan let me know my car did not need these things. I did need control arm bushings replaced, front alignment. Window switch was reinitialized, not replaced. Roy S. runs Service & Parts.
