The reason I decided on allowing this company to do the job was they were able to install next day. What did I hate the most about the install, the late start and the excessive amount of breaks. So much so another company here to install something, mentioned it. "I did not take off marks for that." It was just the worst part of the install. The best thing I loved about the installation is the color of the LVP. A better choice than the other companies I received quotes from. ----- I hate the pricing model from all of the companies. I'd like to see that I was charged the same as the people before me, apples to apples, prices are listed so I can see for myself. ($8+ a sq foot for 420 sq ft and there is no flooring to move. Compare it to the rest of the flooring that was done that included 21 steps. Rooms were bigger and there was carpet, and tack strips to take up. Plus, they already had the product on the truck, per installer. My fear, and I believe it happened. 1st sale was to get the job and the second was to make up the difference from the first sale. I felt I was stuck between a rock and a hard place. I loved the color and the reason they didn't get a score of 5 , I just wanted it over. Even though I knew $8+ was on the high side of competitive while telling me you're giving me a deal. Only y'all know if you lied. Since I'm not presented with a price sheet. I hate the, today it's 5, tomorrow it's 2 and next week it's 10. Whatever your head decides it is. You feel robbed while they're smiling in your face. Not once did someone mention the 60% installation, why, cause there's no such thing. Vent over! At the end of the day, I love the color and, install, the people were friendly and my salesman was Great!! He was knowledgeable of the product and delivered what he promised.

He also never showed up on the day of installation to check the job either. The installation was only "ok." The carpet itself was a good product and top-dollar. The installation would be a C-.

We dealt with the owner and he spent a good hour with us explaining all of the options available and waited patiently as we poured over many carpet samples. He was also the one that came out to measure and give us a quote. We had intended on getting at least one other quote for comparison, but we really liked dealing with him and the number he gave was lower than we expected, so we just accepted it on the spot. The three installers that come out were really hard workers and did excellent quality work. Very happy with our decision.

We looked at several available products available at the shop and decided on a clip together tile that the shop would install. The finished job was not the cheapest product we had seen but the professionalism in the total purchase and installation of the flooring is one of the best values we have acquired in many years. So the Tile Stop is an incredible selection of just about any kind of Tile you can think of, but…read moreman -- customer service is quite low on their priority list. I came in with an obscure color and size of tile from a broken bathroom and they matched it up rather quickly. We ordered what we thought was the right color in the right finish, and it was ordered within minutes, shipped in two days. The only problem was that it differed with the sample that we agreed on. Now I only have a bachelor's degree, and Lord knows I've never worked at a tile shop before, but the man patronized me for having the audacity to try to order the correct tile. On the receipt, Tile Stop had the right number, but had the wrong name, and we probably argued about the stupid $7 worth of tile for about twenty minutes until his coworker came in and said, "Let's try to make the customer happy. He's probably wrong and I'd put money on that, but worse comes to worse he'll have twice as much of the wrong tile." And I reluctantly agreed, but it was too late to call their distributor for the random tile. So they said they'd call the next day. About two weeks later I had assumed they either forgot or didn't want to order it again. So I called The Tile Stop and they, indeed, had no recollection of the reorder... So, I paid twice as much for the right tile and shipping with their distributor (Beaver Glass and Tile) 40+ miles away and guess what? I was correct. Who knew the customer could be even occasionally right? Wouldn't go with them again outside of convenience to match the tile. Incompetence aside, no customer should feel attacked for wanting to get a product. In fact, I would put money on the fact that they still have the wrong style of tile somewhere waiting for someone to pick it up. Maybe I'm an isolated case, but maybe not. Happy hunting!
