I was able to quickly set up an appointment with Marshall and added a bathroom tile refresh to the job since he would be here. He came as scheduled and walked through the jobs with me before starting. I asked him last minute if he could also do our area rug while he was here and he was able to accommodate that too, which I appreciated (I would have also been TOTALLY fine with him not being able to get to it since it wasn't initially part of the discussion but I'm grateful he was able to make it happen!). And he was FAST! When I saw him gathering up his hosing and everything I assumed he was switching gear but nope--he was done! I was impressed. And the price was very reasonable given the fact he did three seperate jobs for us. In the end everything turned out great! The couch smells so clean and fresh and the area rug's colors are bright and vivid again! I sent my mom a picture of the newly cleaned and sealed bathroom floor and she said "Look at that sparkle!" The Merkel Carpet One person in charge of scheduling installation went above and beyond the call of…read moreduty to help ensure our installation was perfect. On short notice we needed the date moved up so the carpet would be in before a memorial service at our home. He even came to help move a piece of extremely heavy furniture, and put out an "all-hands-on-deck" call to be certain nobody got hurt, and the furniture and carpeting were unharmed. The installers also spent extra time to fit the carpet around our fireplace, which has an uneven stone profile. The job couldn't have been done better, and it was far better than the last time we had carpet installed by another company. They even called afterwards to make sure I was happy with the job. I highly recommend them, and in fact, am headed out the door now to go there to shop for carpet for the second floor of our house.

As a local business owner, I'm really disappointed. The installation and follow up quickly stopped once the job was complete, essentially they get paid and stop caring.
