Fantastic Experience with our Great New Optometrist! I had a…read moremorning appointment with Dr. Paneet Khaira, and I cannot recommend her highly enough! As a new optometrist, she brings an incredible amount of energy, thoroughness, and care to her practice. She took the time to answer all my questions and made sure my prescription was absolutely perfect. The entire visit was smooth, professional, and welcoming. If you are looking for a fantastic eye doctor, definitely book an appointment with Dr. Khaira!!!! I stopped going to Monte Vista Optometry under the last Doctor.....Dr. Khaira, and the support staff has breathed NEW LIFE into this office, and brought it back from the abyss!! My wife and I are SO happy to be BACK!!!

I originally had a great deal of confidence in this practice because of Dr. Irish. He was the only…read moredoctor who was able to properly diagnose an eye issue I was having after I had seen about three other doctors elsewhere who could not figure it out. When my insurance changed, I had to seek care at other offices, and none of them were able to give me the correct diagnosis. Dr. Irish eventually did, which is why I was very disappointed to learn that he is no longer with the practice. A year or two ago, while Dr. Irish was still the doctor here, I had an appointment and went through the entire process of having my glasses ordered. The technician collected my payment and told me the glasses would be ordered. I knew glasses could take some time, so I waited. After about a month without hearing anything, I finally called and found out that my prescription request had simply been forgotten. I ended up requesting a refund. More recently, I have been trying to get another exam scheduled. My original appointment was in February, but because of a family emergency, I had to reschedule. I eventually got an appointment with Dr. Irish several months later. Then, shortly before that appointment, I was contacted and told it needed to be rescheduled again, this time until the end of August. During that conversation, I was also informed that Dr. Irish was no longer with the practice and that there was a new doctor. I was surprised because I had not previously been told that Dr. Irish had left. I decided to keep the appointment because the practice already had my records and history, and after waiting so long, I did not want to start over somewhere else. Unfortunately, today I was contacted again and told that the new doctor has jury duty, so my appointment needs to be rescheduled once again. I completely understand that things happen, and I do not blame the new doctor for having jury duty. I also want to be very clear that I have no opinion about the new doctor because I have not even had the opportunity to meet them yet. My frustration is with the repeated rescheduling and the communication surrounding these changes. I sincerely hope the new doctor is wonderful. My disappointment is really with the overall experience. A prescription request was forgotten while Dr. Irish was still practicing there, I had to request a refund, my exam has now been rescheduled twice, and I have been trying to get this exam since February. I also only found out that the doctor I trusted was no longer there when I was already being contacted about rescheduling my appointment. Dr. Irish gave me a reason to have confidence in this practice. I just wish the communication and follow-through had given me the same confidence.

Dr. I is great and so are her helpers. I learned something new about my eyes and got to see…read morepictures of them! Also, they have so many different frames for kids. Usually at other places I don't have a lot to choose from! I got awesome glasses ! - Victoria - 9 yrs old The staff really is amazing. Dr. I took her time to properly explain things to me (the appointment was for myself and my daughter). I've been wearing glasses for years and she was the first optometrist to actually explain things thoroughly to me. The equipment is modern and the staff is super patient and kind. So many beautiful frame options and they don't push up sell options on you. Love it !

I've been coming to this office for years now and have always felt like a valued customer. I…read morerecently took my prescription to Costco (their lenses cost significantly less than the over $500 I was quoted at Generations) however Costco's lenses have got me feeling cross-eyed with pain in my left eye. I called Generations to see if I can have my exam redone to make sure my prescription is accurate and Sandra told me I'd have to pay for it again (as my exam was done back in March). I no longer feel like a valued patient because I was ready to purchase my lenses from Generations as I always have as long as my prescription was right. I obviously wasn't trying to get a free exam, I wanted to make sure my prescription was accurate.
