The next day I received a call and was told it was a mistake on their part and I needed to give the contacts back. I was disappointed and felt it was not my fault that this mistake happened so I went in to speak to the manager Lillian. She explained it was one of her employee's mistake and was asking for me to give the contacts back. I asked them to please, if I give the contacts back to hang on to them for me so I can purchase them directly from you due to the inconvenience of this mix-up. At this point she threatened to kick me out of the practice if I did not give back the contacts. I told them I had a receipt and proof of the discount offer and had no obligation to give them back but as a courtesy I would give them back to them if they would accommodate me by hanging on to them and selling them to me at the price that was correct not the erroneous one caused by their employees mistake. Lillian angrily said she would see what she could do and proceeded to get me kicked out of the practice because I would not respond to her threats so she carried through on her threat to kick me out of the practice. I was given false advertisement and tricked into this problem by their mistake. When I asked for an accommodation and agreed to pay the amount they wanted that was not enough for them. I would not recommend them to anyone. They have signs all over saying that they will adjust your glasses at your own risk. This means if they break your glasses in attempting to adjust them you are financially responsible. Apparently though if they make a mistake and they are responsible for something they will put all the blame on the customer Make threats and carry through on these threats if they don't get exactly what they want.

You have to understand that my mom was EXIGENT about not getting a pair of glasses after her cataract surgery a few years back. She was so adamant, we had to pay extra for the fancy lenses to be put in her eyes at the time of the surgery. IMAGINE MY SURPRISE when my parents called me after their appointment GUSHING about Dr. Garrett and how my mom had also gotten a pair of glasses ordered! Understand that I have been BEGGING her to get glasses for years after her surgery and, somehow, this young man was able to manage what I had thought to be impossible. They gushed about how thorough he was with them. They gushed about how, even though my parents are ESL, he somehow managed helping them understand the findings/recommendations of the visit w/o an interpreter (which is usually me). AND THEN.....he recommended some eye drops to my mom who shares Central Valley dry eye issues with me. So, I ended up with the same eye drops I have been using for the last few weeks and they have been AMAZING for me. So...my parents glasses arrive and a complimentary blue cleaning cloth also arrives...one side has grippies so that your fingers don't slip against the cloth as you clean your glasses! TRULY....thank you for addressing the smallest things. For those of you out there who knows how difficult it can be to manage a set of aging parents, this has been a true blessing.

They are SO-O-O well-organized: when you arrive you are taken from machine to machine so that Dr. Ash has all of the info needed to make his diagnosis when you see him for your actual appointment. I had bilateral cataract surgery done, with an amazing outcome! The colors in this world are so beautiful; they had gradually faded from my experience. More importantly (to the CHP), I can now see the white lines on the highway!! My surgical outcome exceeds my expectations; I experienced zero pain. Very little downtime. Everyone I have met in the waiting room during pre- and post-surgical visits is happy with their care. My only regret? Why did I wait so long?

I ended up choosing Dr. Ash to do my lasik in March and it wasn't quite the experience you read about. Besides the actual procedure being very uncomfortable, but it was quick... my eyes burned so bad that night that they wouldn't stop watering or hurting. I did not get prescribed pain meds, so I was told to use OTC ibuprofen and it only helped slightly. I did have a follow up the next day and the whites of my eyes were dark red for about 6 weeks, which they said could happen, I guess. I was supposed to get scheduled for a 1 week post op, a 1 month post op, a 2 month post op, etc. They haven't bothered to schedule me. I've called twice to get post op care and they keep stating they will call me and never do. I've gotten no post op care since the day after my surgery. That is scary. Something could be wrong and I wouldn't even know it. I paid in full the day of the procedure, so they have their money and I guess thats all they care about. I do not get the impression they care about their patients and I do not recommend this provider whatsoever. This is a serious procedure that was not cheap, they should make sure their patients are taken care of, healing well, and got the results they were seeking.

My family of three all wear glasses and we've all had trouble getting our glasses in a timely manner. Three times now our lenses have come back with quality issues. Currently, it seems they're shipping out to a lab in Texas, causing around three weeks turn around. We've also had issues with the lenses' quality being subpar now (cracks not caused by us dropping/damaging, sunglasses lenses being too light), and the repairs also take another three weeks to fix. A handful of times we weren't notified that glasses were ready for pick up, despite us calling in for updates. They rely on a text system to alert us, but we haven't always gotten an alert to our phone numbers on file. Additionally, frame brand options keep dwindling. Brookside no longer carries the variety we originally came here for. Furthermore, it's frustrating to call and get to talk to an AI assistant robot. If I wanted big box instead of a Stockton business, I'd not be shopping here. You try and talk to someone, but their hands seem tied to their business model. Unfortunately, it is time to take our family's needs elsewhere.
