Long line outside this place with hour and half wait on a Saturday night. However, it did not take that much time. It was only 30 minutes. (Hostess not very friendly or welcoming) Wonderful Ambiance with everything you expect at a Steakhouse. Love all the quotes on the staff shirts. Seats could use some more cushion. For appetizer, it was the Croquetas. Tasted great and wanted more when done! Next was Pan con Bistec. The bread (Pan) was perfect, toasted and soft. The steak (bistec) covered in melted cheese and sauce. Taste amazing! Came with a side of fries. Fries were a bit too crispy and dry lacking seasoning. The New York Strip Steak was cooked perfectly and actually liked it with the chimichurri sauce on the side. Came with one side, Arroz Moro. It was okay, bit dry and lack some flavor. Also, Papa Asada was a bit dry lack the oil. The grilled chorizo was well done with great flavor and used the chimichurri sauce as well there. read more

The place is nice. The food was very good, but the waitress needed training in fulfilling customers requests. When asked about individual bills, she gave us a hard time. He didn't let our party of 6 sit until all 6 guests are here for a "presentation" that's just reading the menu. 4/6 guests were presente and others were gonna arrive in 10 min. New steakhouse in the Kendall area. I found the food to be delicious! We tried the wagyu carpaccio, which was very tasty! Croquetas were yummy, also! Had the carcineros board, which was perfect for 4 adults to share. The chicken was seasoned perfectly, not dry at all, and very juicy! Finally, we had the catalana for dessert and it was mouth watering! I highly recommend this restaurant! 4 stars out of 5 only because service was slow (although the server was very nice). Great food, honestly can't say one bad thing about the food. The service however, was horrible. Extremely long wait for our appetizer, longer wait for our main dish, and the one flan we had for dessert took over 16 minutes to come out. We decided we better ask for the check the minute the flan came out to save time, however that plan didn't work. We finished our flan and waited over 10 minutes for our check as our waitress walk by us 3 times. At this point I knew this was one of those restaurants with automatic gratuity and I was right, when the check came, 18% automatice gratuity. I wanted to complain and dispute the gratuity but I didn't another 2 hour to spend there. For the record, I am a really great tipper, when it is deserved. read more

This place feels like one of those trendy restaurants that focuses on ambiance and price, but completely forgets about the food. We ordered the chicken breast, steak sandwich, burger and picanha. None of the dishes had any flavor at all. Like zero. Not even the chimichurri sauce helped. The coke comes in tiny glass bottles. The service was good. Only complaint was we waited over 2 hours outside. When we finally were told that they would give us the next table to my entire family, they sat down another family at the table we were promised and the lady at the front called us liars and made fun of us. We started with croquetas and they were as good as the ones I loved in Madrid! Our server, Sofia, was very friendly and attentive. My pincanha was cooked to perfection and tasted great! All 4 of us enjoyed our entrees (another picanha, pork and a whole fish). We had the pineapple Catalana for dessert and it was also delicious with a really cool presentation (dry ice was involved). I enjoyed my sangria and my friend loved her gin and tonic drink. Overall, our dining experience was great, from start to finish! We'll definitely be back! read more

I ordered takeout because I wanted a quiet night before my exam and they didn't have Milanesa through the delivery apps and didn't feel like getting ready to go out to a restaurant. When I arrived, they sent me to the back door to pick up my food even though it was raining. I had already told the girl at the front that I wasn't an Uber driver, but they still directed me there. I ended up standing outside wet, and alone with three delivery drivers, which made me very uncomfortable One of them told me the most disgusting thing I've ever heard and that made me feel even worse. I stood right underneath the camera and tried to hold the door while the staff was working in the back to feel less unsafe but unfortunately they closed the door on me and was left alone again with the man. Too much struggle for $40 dinner. Honestly, the experience completely ruined my appetite, and I don't think I can enjoy my dinner now. It also made me feel like I probably won't return to that restaurant again, because the whole situation really changed how I feel about them. Just had dinner with my family at Carnicero. It was a wonderful experience! The service(Sebastian, Jonathan)was exemplary. There were others but I don't remember their names. The entire staff works in conjunction to keep the table going. The food was awesome. We had appetizers, main meal & then.... This was our first time at Carnicero. We had high hopes for it and wanted to love it and bring a big family group in July. We started with the beef carpaccio which was good but small portioned. We ordered the filet which was great, melt in your mouth great. But the sides were also small portions. But the main issue was the price tag on a standard Old Fashioned cocktail. $19 for the cocktail and an extra $1 for the large cube (check your receipt). In any high end restaurant you will pay around $16-18 for the drink but I have never been charge for the large cube. This place is nice, but not high-end for those drink prices. Sad to say we will probably not be going back. Too many options in Miami for the price tag on a good but not exceptional restaurant. read more

I wasn't expecting much, but I had the best steak sandwich of my life here. The ambience was nice. My only gripes were that they served my food on a cheeseboard and included gratuity on the check without notice.
