I wish i could do 2.5 stars because I really want to like this place! Rochelle did my nails at the end of what she had said was a very long day so maybe she's usually better than what I got. I asked for almond shaped medium length acrylics with green tips and for the most part they're OK but they're way pointier than the photo i showed, the acrylic on some of them is thick and bumpy, she didn't even push back my cuticles and sent me out of the store moments after we finished with wet nails so 2 of them got messed up by rain drops hitting the wet nail polish. Also The nails on my right hand don't match the length or the shape of the nails on the left. she seems very sweet and has other good reviews written about her so maybe I just got her on a bad day when she was overworked. if you don't look closely my nails are fine but I expected better for the price. ($69) I wont return. read more

I got a french tip manicure with gel and it was $35 and about 45 minutes. I went to Emma and she was so friendly and did an amazing job. I absolutely loved the way they turned out and throughout she asked me if I liked them, thought they looked even, or wanted her to change anything which was super sweet! I had originally gone to Carnegie Nails prior to the Covid shutdown and was so very impressed with the quality and price . Thus, would have been 5 stars. As soon as salons opened again, Rochelle was able to squeeze me in. I had never paid that high of price, yet received one of the worst services yet...thus 2 stars or less. Averaging the 3 star rating. I requested the white powder, yet it was not until I noticed her painting the ends white, that I was told she didn't have white powder product on hand. To fail to be honest up front, adding to the poor quality, then charging me more than I had ever been charged in the past 15 years, left me very disappointed. Unfortunately it takes just one poor experience to affect the rating of an entire business. read more

I absolutely love this salon. I have only been to Rachelle, but she has given me flawless nails every time I have been in. They're always busy and you can usually get in that week but you should make an appointment. I can't say with certainty for the others, but Rachelle doesn't use plastic form tips for acrylics, she shapes the acrylic onto your fingers. I was pleasantly surprised with how that turned out. My nails also feel much stronger after the acrylic came off than the times i have had acrylics with plastic tips in the past. Very happy! read more

I usually get my nails done in Los Angeles where I live, but I planned to visit my Boyfriend in Spokane for the holidays and I found this place and saw the reviews and decided to try it. I met the owner Lisa who was lovely and welcoming and I was set up with Jammie who is new to the team but just as warm and excellent. I got gels done and gave Jammie creative control over the accent nail in the set as I had chosen a solid color and a glitter color and she did an amazing job! This is the best nail salon I have ever been too, and I can say this about every nail technician who works here. They are amazing at design, very clean, and do an excellent job. There prices area little higher than their competitors but you get what you pay for. Also even though they are downtown they have free 1 hour parking. Major plus! Advice: schedule your appointment ahead of time, they are always booked. This is not a place for a walk in. read more

Great place! I spent an hour in the chair and my toes look great! I loved the attention to scrubbing my feet and cleaning up my nails. Also, Bernie was the nicest! Very kind, sweet, and I loved chatting with her. In addition, she went above and beyond by going to add money to my meter! I did not know I would be in there for an hour and she saved me from a ticket! Totally above and beyond. Loved it! The reason I gave 4 stars (well, I wish I could give 4.5) is that the interior really is just a converted office space. It's a great place for a nail salon because it's tiny and fun to be in--busy and lots of chatting! But, sometimes a great little getaway is needed and the interior of this place while clean, does not feel luxurious or spa-like. Still would highly recommend! Great services and very fun. read more

I was in Spokane visiting for my cousins wedding and my nailed got messed up. The spa at the hotel couldn't fix them so they suggested I go to Carnegie. I called and told them what happened and she said if I could get there now she would squeeze me in. I showed up and she had my nails fixed in less then 15 minutes. I generally never write reviews, much less a bad one. However, I have never been so dissatisfied and utterly disappointed with the appearance of my nails. I've been getting my nails done for 10 years, and took them off for about 6 months while I was caring for my sick mother. I decided to get a new set put on today. Maybe I should have been clued in when I was able to get in within hours of when I called for the appointment. I got Stephanie. I don't even know where to start. I requested white tips because I like the crisp clean look. All of them were put on crooked and in different spots of my nails so I had different depths of white on each nail, there seemed to only be one size tip, which didn't fit my nails, so either they looked too small or too big, all my nails were different lengths, the pink powder (which apparently was the lighter one) is a milky bright pink that distorts the whites terribly and is completely unnatural looking, and it was only put in the middle of the nail causing the middle to be really thick and then I had a ridge on either side. She also never changed the tip on her drill from the big grinding one so she never got rid of the extra powder in the back of my nails. Not only did they look bad, but you could literally see the gap between my own nail and the white tips because they were not glued on properly, leaving room for water to get in there and bacteria to start growing. I truly was in disbelief and embarrassed by how bad they looked. I didn't want to get into it with Stephanie, so I paid and as I was driving home, I decided to stop at Famous Nails across from Ross on the South Hill and at least have them paint a gel color on top until I got these soaked off. They had to re glue all of my nails to seal the gap, grind them down to the same length, try to smooth the tops so I didn't have lumps in the middle and grind all the extra she left in the back. They gave me a new base coat, two coats of gel and a top coat and were kind enough to only charge me $15 because they felt sorry for me. In 10 years of having my nails done, I have never had an experience this poor. What a disappointment, waste of time and money! read more

I initially chose Carnegie because it's close to my work. What a gem Christy is! I got the best French manicured acrylics I have ever had! It's been about four years since I've had nails put on, and I'm SO HAPPY that Christy didn't use the plastic tips and glue! And to top it off, NOT ONCE did I wince in pain! She was gentle, professional, and very skilled. She is also very friendly and nice to chat with. The shop itself is tiny and doesn't feel relaxing, or like a spa in any fashion. But other than that, it was a lovely experience and I will be going there from now on. read more
